5 out of 5 eggscustomer service is willing to help

Pros: build quality is good, customer service is available after 2 rings, willing to help , knowledgable of the products, willing to mail parts or rma, polite,24/7 support

Cons: with customer support like this its hard to beat and othe companys pr dept can take a lesson from these guys, so i have no problem waiting for a replacement as i know the silverstone name is a solid one

Other Thoughts: home theatre/ nas serverof filesand yes i cramed even 2 hd ghz tahiti XT2 in it along with 6-WD rednas 2 TB on a p8p67 ws revolution with a big old E3-1280 just cuz i could and what an awsome htpc/server it is and silverstones remote even has all the functionality that freenas offers and is completely programable, if silverstone only made a htpc keyboard with macro that would be sweeeeeeet

5 out of 5 eggswaited 10 days toget it and 10 more for one not broken

Pros: case is allright for htpc/ file server with low pro heatsink that i bought from silverstone. this is the second build using this model from silverstone and they are great, they look good and are functionable with the led screen/remote

Cons: i waited 10 days to get the first one and now it will be another 10 plus a couple to get it to newegg from my house plus 38 bucks for a shipping label and all the parts are sitting here looking good, maybe silverstone can give shirts away as a token of customer appreciation either they are a great htpc case and i am satisfied with its functionality

Other Thoughts: the wheel on the soft touch door is made from plastic ofcourse and due to a extrusion that didnt fill out completely the door for the usb/ card rader dosnt work properly and wont line up when closed.

5 out of 5 eggsawsome sleeper case

Pros: info panel on front, fanless heatsink available for cpu by manufacturer, 7 slot spacing for atx motherboards, reset button on front, soft touch for 2 front drawers very awsome

Cons: for my needs i have virtually no cons what so ever.

Other Thoughts: after building the most awsome H.T.P.C with 8 tb initial storage i then conected a drobo 5 d to the mix for an incredible nas/file server all running on thunderbolt as th motherboard i used was a z77 v premium by ASUS and replaced the 32 gig ssd to a 128 gig. truly a awsome rig as i have 2 hd 7970 ghz under the hood for all graphics

3 out of 5 eggsHTPC

Pros: Nice clean look, fits in well with my entertainment center.

Cons: Not very well made..almost impossible not to cross thread the standoff screws...One of the USB ports did not work. The door that covers the optical drive bays does not open, unless you take your finger nail and pull at the edge. The software is not very useful..

Other Thoughts: I was able to make this case work for what I needed it for; and it looks nice. But At this price range I would have expected better quality control..

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you very much for purchasing a SilverStone. The optical drive bay door uses a pop-rivet type mechanism that you can open easily if you push the front door quickly, which then the door should pop open. If you are still having trouble with the door, please contact us directly so we can help you:
