5 out of 5 eggsBest case scenario.

Pros: * Small, but fully featured for the discerning HTPC or ITX-based gaming build.
* Sleek yet unobtrusive design - will look very good amongst your home theater A/V equipment, without sticking out like a sore thumb.
* Clever internal layout - this case takes advantage of every square inch.
* Solid, if somewhat uninspired, build quality.

Cons: * Installation requires a little bit of planning ahead. (Not especially a con for experienced small-form-factor builders!) Not intended for those people who tinker/test or like to swap parts out on a weekly basis.

Other Thoughts: In my opinion, this is currently the best "living room PC" case on the market. Yes, there are some limitations to what you can stuff in it, but for the vast majority of HTPC users and single-GPU gamers, this case deserves your money. That is, unless you prefer the style of the Raven version of this case. :-)

There are a couple of wish-list improvements that could be made (mostly regarding the SFX form factor power supply, really, not the case itself) but those are nit-picking at best.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Case, tight build space

Pros: This case has a small footprint with the ability to hold a full size graphics card. 3 120mm fan locations for direct cooling of hot spots. Slim design very neat and understated, would make a great HTPC or living room gaming system.

Cons: Must have an SFX power supply. P/S mounting is a PITA, the screws are located tight at the bottom and you will need a magnetic screwdriver to get to them easily. Cable routing with Silverstone SFX power supply is difficult unless you have their flat cable kit. Fan cables and SATA cables must be carefully routed or you may end up touching fan blades. USB 3.0,Power, Reset and LED wires are too long, had to fold/loop excess behind power supply.

Other Thoughts: I bought this case because I wanted a Gaming PC in my garage but I didn't want to take up a bunch of bench space. Once I had everything assembled, it is exactly what I needed. I added 3 120mm fans and the system stays just as cool as when it was in my Lian Li mATX case. I just ordered the Silverstone flat P/S cable kit and I really wish they would have made a kit for this case (450w or 600w P/S with flat cables, make a discount purchase or something!)

If anyone from Silverstone is reading this, I highly recommend a Ver. 2 for your SFX power supplies, get rid of the sleeved stiff cables and only use the flat ones.

I like this case design compared to the RVZ01. The RVZ is a love it or leave it design, where the ML07 is destined to be a classic.

If you buy this case, get the cable kit, a magnetic screwdriver and an assortment of different length SATA cables. Take your time building, and follow the directions, everything will fit, but if you aren't careful, you will end up having to re-mount parts just to get your cables neatly routed. I gave this case 5 stars because it is exactly what other reviews have said it was, and the quality was definitely up to Silverstone's better standards. Eventually this one will get modded for more portability, but for now it is exactly what I wanted!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat HTPC for Cheap!

Pros: - Pretty much the exact same interior as the Raven RZ01B which is what I wanted.
- Holds my GTX 780ti perfectly and there are holes to route pcie power cables.
- With 2 added fans it cools my 780ti very nicely, definitely gets loud though if you ramp the gfx card fan up.
- I was able to fit in a Corsair H60 watercooler in there to cool my 4790K! had to use a 12mm fan though but temps never go above 40C
- The design is subtle and not to stick out like a sore thumb.

Cons: - I don't have many cons really but I wish they would have included dust filters for all the fan holes. If the case cost more I would have subtracted an egg but for $60 bucks this is to be expected.
- If you want to work on a specific part besides the ssd it is tedious to get to it, again to be expected in a case this size.

Other Thoughts: This small little case can house a 4790K and a 780ti and keep it all cool. Really impressed so far.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Design! NEEDS Fans!

Pros: Slim, roomy, sturdy, versatile

Cons: No active cooling, needs fans if you are using it as a Micro-Gaming PC. Get's very hot when using a gaming graphics card.

Other Thoughts: I LOVE this case!! This is hands down the BEST Case design for a Small Form Factor PC that will actually FIT into most entertainment center cabinets, thanks to the mini-ITX motherboard form factor. (The Raven RVZ01 shares the same layout). Here are the specs of my HTPC

Motherboard - HP Irvine GL6E (NVidia 630i chipset)
Processor - Xeon X5450 3.00GHz (using the 771 to 775 mod)
Heatsink/Fan - Intel Celeron Cooler, aluminum fins, copper core
RAM - 4GB PC2-6400
SSD - Mushkin Enhanced 120GB Sata III
PSU - Silverstone 450W SFX Bronze
CD/DVD - Panasonic slim slot load CD+-RW/DVD+-RW
Video - NVidia GT640 1GB

This case, and the Raven, can accommodate everything you "need" for an HTPC or micro-Gaming PC. Mine is obviously being used as Micro-Gaming, due to the lack of BluRay playback (I have a Sony set top for that). The only bad thing about this case is that it gets really hot, mostly due to the lack of stock fans. The Raven would probably have gotten a 5 star rating from me because of the looks and the standard case fans. If you are just going to use onboard graphics, it's probably not a big deal, but with a discreet graphics option, I strongly recommend spending the extra $20 and getting the Raven Case. I originally had a GTX 560Ti but that was even worse for the heat build up... already had an extra GT640 so I just through that in and it works great for the games I will be playing on this setup... (nothing more intense than Batman, Need for Speed or Castlevania).

All in all, Great buy for the price!! Might add more to this after I find out how much difference the additional fans make, still waiting on them to arrive.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat Form Factor, Cheap Feeling

Pros: Great size. From a distance the case looks great. Comprehensive manual with step by step instructions printed on some very nice paper.

Cons: Large amounts of paint scratch off around the screws, plastic looks and feels cheap up close. After removing screws for the GPU bracket, it was stuck to the back of the case and too tight to remove safely. I did not complete a build with this case since I feared damaging the motherboard and the PCIe riser. Wrestling the bracket out took some paint with it (probably wasn't the best idea to do that). Putting it back on, some holes were misaligned until I bumped the bracket and back of the case.

Other Thoughts: I don't like how the power and reset buttons are little "flaps" molded with the plastic. Closely inspecting the plastic, it is possible to see where the plastic was stressed, particularly around the usb and headphone/mic jacks.

I really wanted to like this case, but what I believe to be one of its defining features, the PCIe bracket, was constructed poorly. This is the main reason for the poor review.

Sadly, I'll be returning this.

5 out of 5 eggsFinally a sleek HTPC case

Pros: Finally got around to building a HTPC and was stunned at how few choices there were of enclosures that fit a DVD player-like profile/size (I mean seriously, why do I want cube cases to fit on a HTPC shelf).

I'm very happy with the unit. The instructions were very well detailed on dealing with this case (some things are really recommended to be installed in a certain order).

I really like the PCIe extension, but sadly I just didn't find a use for it with "good enough" integrated graphics from both Intel and AMD for video/movies, and in-home streaming options for gaming making dedicated GPU's for HTPC seem like a diminishing thing as well. Maybe a sound card when I get back around to this small build.

Cons: I don't think there are any major cons to this case, just a quirks - so see below.

Other Thoughts: Because of it's form factor, installing stuff requires a bit more attention otherwise you'll just frustrate yourself.

For instance, after installing the sfx PSU, then installing the bracket over it - if you didn't pay attention to the instructions and turn the PSU switch ON, well.....you're going to have to take it back off now.

The build process in this case really ought to be followed in the instructions - so this is not really a case I would tinker with often (though I don't see why you would in a HTPC build).

A decent amount of storage mounting options, but in this day and age of NAS devices, it was another feature (like the PCIe extension) I didn't find that useful personally.

The Power/Reset LED's are blue, and a bit too bright in my tastes for something that will sit in a dark room. You could just leave the leads off the motherboard and deal with no LED's or see if you can mentally tune out the shining LED /shrug.

Double check your shelf/setup and this case's height. While it appears to have a DVD-player-like size, it's a bit taller. Two fan openings are on the bottom of the case.

4 out of 5 eggsSilverstone ML07

Pros: -Same interior layout as the RAVEN RVZ01
-Less expensive than the RVZ01
-Cleaner looking than the RVZ01

Cons: -No fans or dust filters included!

Other Thoughts: Upon receiving the case, I was a little surprised to find that there were no low profile fans or dust filters included (this is my only complaint and the reason why it gets 4 stars). This wasn't a huge issue for me as I was planning on using different fans anyway, but it should be noted.

Overall, the ML07 is a fantastic, no compromise mini-ITX case well suited for HTPC gaming and is classier/cleaner looking than its RAVEN series counterpart. It's well constructed and is capable of housing and cooling some serious hardware. I can't speaking for its water cooling flexibility as my setup is only air cooled.

My specs:
-i5-4570
-8 GB ADATA XPG 1600
-ASRock B85M-ITX
-Noctua NH-L12 (single fan mode)
-EVGA GTX 750 Ti SC
-Silverstone ST45SF-G
