3 out of 5 eggsNice case, but plastic pieces ruin overall.

Pros: Lots of space to work. everything fits with ample room. tons of drive mounts. Monster case for good price. rails used for mounting drives very awesome.

Cons: Cheap plastic parts ruin the quality of the metal components. the DVD drive flap, which is made of metal, is attached to the case by cheap plastic nubs that broke after a few months. Also, the swiveling Usb hub in the front of the case is very fragile. it would be much better if the front case panel was not so clunky feeling to open and close. swiveling plastic feet fragile, as well.

overall, the plastic components ruin the quality of this case.

Other Thoughts: a good case to buy, if you don't plan on moving your computer around a lot. A chore to take to lan parties and such, not to mention the fragility of the parts make such trips hazardous to the case.

5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding Case

Pros: I was blown away with the functionality... Sturdy, great features, low price. Awesome computer tower.

Cons: Not the best looking case in the whole world, but not ugly either.

4 out of 5 eggsBig & Beefy

Pros: Its a big sturdy case. Lots of room. Lots of drive bays. Removable motherboard tray.

Cons: Off brand/cheap case. Its not completely tool-free, but it tries.

Other Thoughts: I used this for a small business server with a Raid 5 setup. Its got the space and drive bays for a server rig, and seems to have decent air-flow.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!!!

Pros: Big and roomy for great air flow management! Sturdy like a tank. Removable motherboard tray. Revolving I/O connectors. Convenient PCI card cover so that you don't have to mess with screws. My favorite thing about this case is the removable HDD and 3.5 bay cages...oh so convenient!!!

Overall, this case is near perfect and I would definitely buy another if/when needed.

Cons: Power and reset buttons behind the sliding front bezel...not a huge issue, but inconvenient at times. The Power LED had two wires, but in non-standard 3 wire casing which forced me to rewire it to work with my motherboard. I like the ventilation holes on the outside of the case, but wish there were screens included to filter out some dust. All these cons are minor in my opinion compared to the awesome pros.

Other Thoughts: My first computer build and I was worried(bought prebuild HP and Dells in the past...never again) . It was easier than I expected and this case is awesome. As always, Newegg shipping and support was awesome!

4 out of 5 eggsSince February 2006

Pros: It's heavy and it's quiet. I like the side mount drive bays, the side panel is very easy to remove or lock. Plenty of room everywhere. As others have said the motherboard tray is great. I really don't like case windows and lighting up my motherboard just seems wasteful and annoying since I leave this thing on in the same room I sleep in.

The rubber grommets for mounting drivers are very nice to reduce vibration and thus noise. It should also help to lengthn hardware life somewhat.

Cons: For a case this big it might have been nice to provide an IDE cable. It's a long reach from the bottom of my motherboard to the top of the case.

I really dislike the door. It looks nice but it hides the power button and the eject button for the 5 1/4 tray doesn't line up very well so you have to open the case for either of those. Or if you tell it to eject from within your OS you get a very loud rattle from it popping open. The front USB ports pretty much don't work for me though in all honesty it could be a fault somewhere other than the case.

Plugging cables into the side mounted drives is a bit frustrating unless you get 90degree cables though even without them it's fine enough to plug power, IDE/SATA cables in.

Either my PSU or the case weren't fit right. I have to use a paper shim to keep the PSU from rattling.

Side panel fan vent only barely reaches my CPU, if it was a bit lower it wouldn't.

Other Thoughts: I'd buy one again or recommend it to someone else and it's even the same price it was 2 and a half years ago.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Sturdy design in general (see below for exception), lots of little convenient features - side mounted 3.5" bays, easy access motherboard tray, convenient location of 5.25" rails.

Cons: Motherboard access try was improperly sized and/or placed. I can't slide the tray back into position to properly secure it, because there isn't room for the motherboard/PCI slots at the back of the case. I have it jury-rigged for now, but it's pretty frustrating.

Also, as others have experienced, tabs for the front panel broke the first time I removed it.

If I ever get 5 hard drives, it's going to take some work getting the front panel cables to fit behind the hard drives.

2 out of 5 eggsCheap Looking

Pros: Its a roomy box.

Cons: Cheap looking, very thin plastic latches on the front.

Other Thoughts: I should have bought the case local retail. My last case was machined aluminum and this stamped steel thing is a huge step down.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice case

Pros: Looks great. Very spacious. Built like a battleship. Many nice little touches, like rubber hard drive mounting pads, bags of screws are sorted and labeled for easy installation of drives, motherboard tray, chassis intrusion switch, quiet 120mm fan, etc.

I would definitely buy this case again.

Cons: My only quibble is that the power switch is behind the door. I turn my computer off every night so I have to open the door every morning to start the computer.

Other Thoughts: Get some SATA cables with one 90-degree end and one straight end to make connecting hard drives neat and easy. Newegg has them for a couple dollars a piece.

4 out of 5 eggsOverall a nice case, with some minor issues.

Pros: The case is extremely sturdy. It is roomy, and relatively easy to work with. Plus it is reasonably priced.

Cons: The front-ports (USB/firewire) rotate, but are very easy to break -- which mine did. You could blame my carelessness, but other reviewers have experienced the same thing. There is also no side-mount on the side-door for the fan. You have to use this plastic mount that attaches to the framing of the case itself.

Other Thoughts: While I recommend the case, I'm going to try a different one for my next build.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: nice solid case, all screws and rails included, roomy enough with internal/external slots for drive expansions. currently running 1.3TB raid with internal slots with external available for expansion.

Cons: minor gripe:
Front panel/door is a plastic frame with metal grill. Although solid enough considering the quality of the rest of the case, it should be metal.

Other Thoughts: no complaints, although you need to order a decent power supply to support future peripheral expansion.. I used a seasonic 650W atx12v.. quiet
