Pros: Sturdy! This case is 35lbs and rock solid, with the exception of the rear panel fastener (see cons). The modular power supply is a definite plus; I will probably return the Corsair I ordered since this one is nice and quiet.

Cons: There is only one rear panel thumbscrew, which allows the cover to flex somewhat. I would have preferred two on a case of this quality, but it's not a big issue since the rest of the case is so sturdy.

The HDD fan is fairly loud (even on the "low" switch setting). I would have preferred a variable speed control since this will be right next to me, but I can put it in the server closet if necessary.

Other Thoughts: The power switches for the drives are a nice touch, although I'm not sure they are necessary since SATA is hot-swappable.

Pros: The case is well made and of great quality. The power supply and hard drive caddy are excellent features.

Cons: Heavy and big, but what do you expect? Its a 4U case.

Other Thoughts: It was my own fault, but my motherboard was a 12x13 and the case is made to house 12x10 motherboards. Just kept case and bought another Istar case because I liked this one so much.

Pros: all the room in the world, great air flow from front to back, came with more then enough screws, drive racks are HEAVY DUTY aluminum. and has buttons for my 4 ya 4 terabyte caviar black 7200 rpm/32mb buffers.

Cons: didnt come with the cable just a short wire bundle from the front panal, I think they are for leds.... not really a con, but it is a very heavy case when you load it up with goodies

Other Thoughts: newegg came through on my order and so did UPS and all 5 drives I ordered fired right up... no RMA's, (but if you have knowledge everything should work right lol)

Pros: Plenty of room to work with. HDD rack removes easily and is similar to a heatsink to remove heat. A fan is also present on the HDD rack. Had to call IStar to find out why the drives wouldn't power up. The small indicator lights on front are also power buttons for the drives and also one main power button on the HDD cage. They were helpful and easy to understand. The 750watt PSU is modular so cable management is made easier. The case also has several fans already making more an option, not a requirement. Seems very sturdy and well built.

Cons: A bit heavy, but thats expected with a 4U chasis.

Other Thoughts: Great buy for a file server or other server not needing space for a lot of drives.
