5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding features at a super competitive price

Pros: - Sleek, simple, yet elegant brushed aluminum finish
- Extra large acrylic panel to view your handiwork.
- Rubber mounting grommets for the hard drive. Reduces case vibration.
- The hard drive mounting area is right behind the two front intake fans. Though not perfect, you get some active cooling on the hard drive(s)
- Removable motherboard tray makes adding to or modifying the system a cinch
- The single most important feature of this case, which I'm surprised no one has mentioned, is the extra space between the motherboard tray and the other side panel. There's about 3/4 of an inch of dead space there, which is a must have for you cable management buffs. There's plenty of room back there to hide your power supply cables and miscellaneous cables so much so that with some careful planning, there won't be a single length of visible cable. Aside from the aesthetics, this contributed to a 3-5 degree drop in case temperature based simply on better airflow.

Cons: Cons
- changing the front intake fans requires the removal of the hard drives. This isn't a terrible thing you just have to think ahead.
- the firewire port is a simple pass through cable
- As mentioned, you can't access the front fan controller, without removing the front panel. With a little ingenuity, you can easily relocate or replace this piece altogether.

Other Thoughts: I must have read about 60 different cases from every single case manufacturer in existence, and I finally settled on this case specifically for these reasons:

- It had a case window
- Most affordable full featured aluminum case
- Simple yet elegant design, it doesn't scream look at me - unless you want it to

What I ended up with was far beyond what I expected from such a simple looking case. There are a few cons, but they're so minor they're barely worth mentioning, although they do deserve some consideration if you're nit picky.

5 out of 5 eggsWOW!

Comments: This case is HIGH quality, and is easily the best case I have ever owned! Simplistic, yet with many awesome features (removeable mobo tray, aluminum case, VERY attractive, 100% tool-less design)
I would reccomend adding a fan to the plexiglass directly across from the cpu, as I think the case design is keeping my temp up a few degrees.
Bottom line:
Outstanding price
Tool-less and very attractive!!

Comments: I've had this case for almost a year now, and I can't be happier with it. It's simplistic design with added features make it a great buy!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Comments: I've had this case for about 4 months, and it has been a dream to work with. I really like the simplicity of the design (I hate the front doors on PCs).

I modified it a bit just for some added convenience. I removed the fan controller & mounted it to an empty 3.5 drive bay cover along with the switch for the Light kit I added. So I can adjust the speed without removing the front cover, and I don't have to reach around behind to turn on the light.

My only complaint is the small plastic cover for the front USB & Firewire. I've knocked it loose twice, so it might have been better to have a sliding cover (not enough of a problem to loose a star). I don't use the front Firewire, so that detail isn't an issue for me.

On the plus side, the slide out motherboard tray makes set up a breeze. Why would anyone buy a case without this feature is beyond me. And the almost toolless design really makes the system go together easily.

For anyone wanting to build a system, this is The Cadillac of Desktop Cases.

5 out of 5 eggsBeautiful case, great quality

Comments: I've had this case for about 3 months and its honestly the best case I've ever owned. I used to do case modding and spent a lot of time making custom antec cases so I know quality when I see it. A lighted fan 80mm fan would be a good addition to rear exhaust fan so the case will glow a little. I'd highly recommend this case, its expensive but you get what you pay for when it comes to computer cases. THe front cover is really conservative in design - not flashy like most boxes. THe fan is easy to clean and the plexi glass window is machined very well and looks professional. There are no sharp edges either.

My machine: Athlon 3200 64bit processor, 1GB PC 3200, ATI 9600XT

5 out of 5 eggsQuality Case

Comments: I have bought two of these so far. They are lightweight, strong and extremely nice to work with. No sharp edges and virtually tool-less. I highly recommend this case.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent buy!

Comments: Very sturdy, runs cool and quiet, and the LED/switch cable disconnects in the middle which is awesome. The case is easy to work with (no sharp edges whatsoever). Zero complaints.

5 out of 5 eggsNice!

Comments: This is a very nice looking case with plenty of room as well as a good build. The only complaint that I have that others have also mentioned is that the fire wire has to be plugged in. I would definately buy this case again.
