4 out of 5 eggsGood case

Pros: Nice and small, good price, fits everything well

Cons: non-standard size power supply? really a gripe not a con

Other Thoughts: I read reviews of other cases from this company that said the power supply died (sometimes violently) after a few weeks of use so I was somewhat apprehensive to buy this one, or I budgeted to have to buy a replacement PS soon after. I have been pleasantly surprised by this particular unit as I have had no problems with it. This has been installed in an unconditioned room and not exploded into a fire ball, which is a good thing I suppose. There was plenty of room to support my existing microATX board and the supplied power connectors were adequate to power everything. Make sure you know what youre ordering when you buy any unit with a built in PS. I'm tired of reading reviews from inexperienced kids who think they can build computers because they installed a GFX card in their moms Dell buying cases and complaining the PS doesnt have the right connectors for their boards. It says right in the tech specs what it has.

3 out of 5 eggssimple case

Pros: smallish size is perfect for a true "desktop" computer.

Cons: CD drive jams my drive opening and closing, I will have to grind down the bumpers on the door.
PSU doesnt have SATA, so I used some molex to sata adapters, not that big of a deal but still - its 2011 people!
The side door is welded shut so you can only mount HDD screws on one side like others have noted.

Other Thoughts: There are much better cheaper options for cases, but for this form factor it is the best price.

Manufacturer Response:

We would like to thank you for purchasing our product. We apologize for any problems you have encountered. At Athena, we do our best to serve our customer's needs and wants. In regards to your CD drive jamming, we recommend you to remove the CD door so it transitions more fluidly and smoothly. We at Athena do apologize for that and if you have any questions please call us at (626) 810-5008. Thank you.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Space efficient design with aesthetics kept in mind, item is exactly what it claims to be.

Cons: PSU doesn't really make sense for the type of case this is, the 20 pin connector with no ATX seems more of a joke someone thought to play.

1 out of 5 eggsNo SATA Power

Pros: The media ports look very good.

Cons: There is no power support for SATA devices. Had to swap out the power supply to use this.

And the provided screws were not enough to support a newer Micro-ATX board. (DH55TC) It came with 6 under-board screws, but the motherboard needs 8 to be properly supported at all pressure points.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Little Case

Pros: Small size is good for home HTPC construction. Seems sturdy enough for its intended purpose. Will fit the 6 inch slot in the cabinet below my HDTV.

Cons: Power supply just barely adequate for most applications. Be prepared to replace it. Make sure to get one that will fit as it is not a standard MicroATX size power supply.

Minus one star because I had to do so much customizing, such as fan replacement.

Other Thoughts: Used it for this build:

Athena Power CA-1015IS25 Silver / Black MicroATX Desktop / MicroATX Slim Computer Case 250W Power Supply
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066
AMD Phenom II X3 710 2.6GHz Socket AM3 95W Triple Core
Athena Power AP-MP4ATX55FEP8 550W MicroATX Power Supply
ASUS M4A78-EM AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 780G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
XFX HD-489A-ZDFC Radeon HD 4890 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Video Card
SilenX IXP-52-11 80mm Case Fan
SilenX IXP-34-16 60mm Case Fan x 2
ASUS Black 6X Blu-Ray DVD Combo SATA Model BC-06B1ST

Had to do some minor modifying to get the full size ATI video card to fit. A "Full Size" NVIDIA card would not work in this case as the accessory power plug in is on the top of the card. The ATI worked because the plug is in the back.

5 out of 5 eggsWorked great for me!

Pros: Small case. I read all the specs and reviews before I bought it and decided to take a chance and I'm glad I did. Many complained about the CD mount. This must have only been in previous models because mine was drilled correctly and I had no problem mounting the drive. The fans are just as loud as any other fan I've ever had. (Here's a thought, if its too loud don't use both of the included case fans. The big blue light on the front is cool at first but gets annoying. Luckily it uses one of the PSU connectors so can be unplugged.

Cons: It is true that the back side of the case is riveted on so you can only mount one side of 3.5" drives. The PSU does only have a 20pin connector but again, I knew what I was getting into.

Other Thoughts: This was only a $40 computer case with free shipping. I was not expecting it to be the same quality as my $140 Antec case. Don't expect the best from a cheap case and you won't be as disappointed as the other people that bought this. I think its a great bargain!

1 out of 5 eggsDEAD POWER SUPPLY-BUYERS BEWARE

Pros: Low Price... U get what u pay for...

Cons: The CD Housing had to be modified, had 2 remove the front face plate just to allow my CD Drive 2 fit. (NO way to get the top screws in) Couldn't secure the hard drive unless you break sautered left side panel to reach screws. The battery guard and the whole case for that matter was of VERY POOR QUALITY.(Assembled/Material)N after all this the battery was BAD....

Other Thoughts: If the battery had worked, it wouldn't have been so bad just alot of work to assemble. I would recommend if you are like me on a schedule, have a backup battery just in case.

1 out of 5 eggsBEWARE - 20 pin Power Supply

Pros: Nice size. Low Price.

Cons: Cheap quality. Bent side panels. You must re-drill the mount for the CD drive. Poor Fit. Loud fan.

Other Thoughts: Note that the power supply is 20 pin, not 24 pin... I had to buy another power supply. Go to the Athen web site and read the specs.

2 out of 5 eggsRotten Quality

Pros: Nice size and I like the look of the case. Blue LED bar for power and HDD lights is cool. Can take a full size PCI card.

Cons: Sheet metal fit and quality is terrible. Waves and bends in side panel. Power supply doesn't really fit the mounting flange. The CD drive door hung up and I had to remove it then drill mounting holes to make the CD fit the bay. 80mm fan included.... sounds like a 747 warming up in your driveway.

Other Thoughts: Even though it was a hassle... I still like the faceplate of the case.//and the size
