4 out of 5 eggsComment on Gavin's Review

Pros: Just a quick comment. I appreciate Gavin's comments. They are helpful for someone like myself who is considering purchasing this case.

However, I want to point out the fact that no one should expect a rackmount case to come with vent holes in top or bottom for a power supply fan. By their very nature, you typically won't be able to vent above or below a rackmount case. That's why the power supplies for these cases always vent to the rear. They are designed to be mounted in an equipment rack, with other cases above and below them for more efficient use of space.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Wish NewEgg would allow commenting on reviews. NewEgg's review system design is very outdated.

I picked an egg rating arbitrarily, based on what I've read about the case and the design. Like I said, NewEgg doesn't have an option for commenting on other's reviews.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Case

Pros: This case is very strong.
Hot swap is nice.

Cons: Power supply mount should be upside down to use standard power supply... The mounting holes make the fan intake pressed against the top cover. Bad circulation.
Wish the case was slightly deeper to allow for larger mother boards, or server boards. I wanted to put a super micro 1u server board in this, but it was too shallow (front to back) to allow.

Other Thoughts: This is a decent deal, but not "Great".
Considering my desired usage, the power supply mounting was upside down. The case was a little too short to mount my super micro board.

I had to change my entire use for the unit. I will instead get a micro ATX board for a new haswell processor. Thesse issues are more about my need and do not reflect so much on the MFG. This is a good unit, just be certain that you planned out everything and the it will work as YOU intend. I am keeping mine.
