It is time for your motherboard to feel a jet powered breeze. The AeroCool S9 Pro is built with cooling in mind, making the jet-inspired looks almost unnecessary. Right up front, a superb LED 120mm fan repeats the aeronautical theme. The 400mm side panel fan almost makes the front fan unnecessary, since it provides a hurricane of wind inside the case. In the rear is a single vent to provide exhaust that could easily hold another fan. Two USB 2.0 ports, two audio ports and one e-SATA port on the top make connections easy to reach.

Inside, the cooling powerhouse will be well used on the whopping 6 external 5.25" drive bays as well as 3 internal 3.5" bays, either an ATX or micro ATX motherboard, and the seven PCI expansion slots. Takes your hot high-end CPU and video cards into a frozen zone, with AeroCool S9 Pro!

  • newegg Great Expandability with 9 Drive Bays Featuring eight 5.25" external drive bays, three of which can be turned into 3.5” drive bays with the drive adapter and one 3.5" external drive bay, the AeroCool S9 Pro provides great expandability.
  • newegg Excellent Air Cooling The AeroCool S9 Pro features a powerful 400mm fan with incredible airflow at side panel, one 120mm fan at front bezel cooling HDDs and a 120mm fan vent in rear for excellent cooling performance.
  • newegg Convenient Top I/O Panel The convenient top I/O panel enables easy access to two USB 2.0 ports, one eSATA port and two audio ports.

3 out of 5 eggsCool Fan!

Pros: Awesome "Giant Fan"Keeps things cool. super quiet, fits the GTX series.

Cons: Thin metal (harddrive rails and pci slots were warped), Coolmaster H50 does not fit in this case, even though it has a extra 120mm fan mount in the back. I had to jerry rig my powersupply to the top inside of the case.

Other Thoughts: Overall, its an average case with a nifty big fan. Reccomend coolmaster or antec series midtowers.

5 out of 5 eggsLove this Case.

Pros: HUGE side fan. 450cm, I think it is. its basically the whole side door. Well constructed. Solid design. Quality. Nice finish. Nice blue lighting, but not garish. Classy look and feel. No front panel door to mess with or break. very quiet. lots of hardware included. A good solid case.

Cons: Only Finger-gasher is the removable insert/mounting box for the 3.5 floppy slot. ouch. the rest of the case is burr and sharp-edge free. Was able to add a second 120mm fan, but didn't see room for more. Won't clean my catbox nor make my coffee. doesn't have hard disk usage light. I still can't get it to fetch. included speaker is one of those button types that just sticks off the motherboard(which is fine with me.)

Other Thoughts: Take out the foam on the front panel for better airflow. lots of flexibility with mounting because the whole front is accessible. the included antivibration mounts for the drives work well but are a real PIA to install. beer is suggested. Overall, I feel like I chose a great, well constructed case. they all should be this good. the price was very reasonable. that side door fan rocks. I really wish they made a full size case, but this fit in a zalman 9500 on an AMD mount with ease (the fan sticks out of the profile, instead of pushing into the case itself.)

2 out of 5 eggsNot so quick!

Pros: Big, black, the on/off/reset buttons with the connect ports are on the top, finally. The shock absorbers for the HDD's is a good idea. I hope more use them.

Cons: The big fan not so good. Its heavy and was really out of balance. The wimpy motor is bult right into the case, so it can't be repaired or replaced later if needed. Mine wobbled all over the place and hit the shroud, so I had to RMA it today. I hope the next one will be better. The front fan didn't allow me to place the HDD's behind it and still leave room for my big SLI cards. I had to make a small custom fan setup to get some air on the HDD's. Also, the front cover's filler pieces for the DVD's and stuff was very difficult to remove. Don't buy this case and keep looking.

Other Thoughts: Get the Aerocool model ExtremEngine 3T, I have had one for 6 months and its a great case with varible fan speed control. Very quiet and moves alot of air. But I don't like its doors, so I removed them.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The massive side fan blows air directly on all major components, keeping them extremely cool seemingly without making any noise. The case is so silent, were it not for the sleek blue front fan lights, it might be difficult to tell if it was on from your desk. And by "it might be", I mean it is. Awesome case, very tough and imposing without teen trendy side windows or cheap plastic aesthetic molding.

Cons: If needed, included instructions are extremely lacking. They probably shouldn't be needed if building a system yourself though. Mounting hard drives is a bit harder than it could have been, but antivibration mounts is a nice include.

Other Thoughts: Newegg ran out of stock the day I meant to purchase, but a quick email to AeroCool tech support informed me that they had sent out a new shipment and I was able to buy it that evening. I am extremely pleased and hope "the standard" for cases switches to massive silent side fans like this one.

5 out of 5 eggsEggcellent

Pros: This case is awesome. This is my first build and I dont think it could have been simpler to assemble. The fan is huge and does put out an enormous amount of air. Enough, even, to justify not adding any additional case fans. I got a cold cathode tube (blue) and it looks bangin' when you look through the fan on the side with it running.

The dvd drive mount pieces are easy to learn how to use. There is plenty of room for any huge graphics card.
PSU was easy to install, as was the motherboard.

I highly recommend this case to anyone, even if youre using water cooling. Think about it, one fan (that is very quiet) and one water pump (that is very quiet).

Cons: None.

4 out of 5 eggssatisfied

Pros: Huge fit my gtx 260 easy. comes with led fan (blue, wish it was red) that seems to be really quite cant hear big fan at all.

Cons: some of the metal mesh grills came warped had to remove a few and work them out till they were straight If you pick the computer up dont press on them cause im sure they will bend in if they dont come bent.

5 out of 5 eggsAeroCool S9 Pro

Pros: Excellant case, love the HDD vibration mounts, the huge quiet fan, plenty of space. I have no complaints! Buttons and USB ports are on the top which keeps them away from dog tails!

Cons: A motherboard tray would be a nice addition for the next model.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: This case really does look great. Well made out of high gauge metal. Comes with excellent quick mount clips for the DVD bays and some mounts for the hard drives.

I really can't reiterate the quality of this case. I owned many and this really is probably the nicest yet.

Umm the huge fan! The am of my build was to be as quite as possible and at 12db this case really does fit the bill. The large fan introduces so much air that I am currently not even using and intake or outtake fan. The big fan just sucks it in the side and pushes it out the front and rear.

Cons: no mother board tray. You have to screw it directly to a back plate that is not removable.

Other Thoughts: You are not going to fill the air coming out of the fan like a room fan it will feel a slight breeze with the case open. When you close the case and put your hand next to one of the vents you will then see how this thing really does work its magic.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Case!

Pros: Super quiet, plenty of space inside, does a great job cooling, esthetically pleasing, and did I mention super quiet.. ;-)

Cons: The only thing I didn't like is that it doesn't have LED's for power and hard drive activity. That's it.

Other Thoughts: This is an awesome case that's actually quieter than the water cooled computer that it replaced. I'm very happy and would buy it all over again.

5 out of 5 eggsvery good case

Pros: cooling, case quality, huge_mungus fan. I have used areocool case before and was not disappointed, so it was easy for me to buy this case with great xpectations & i wasn't disappointed. i got me a 9800 gt card, a amd x2 5200 cpu and a asus fanless motherboard. i replaced the cpu cooler with a zalman cpu cooler ( and replaced the gpu cooler with a ZALMAN VF1000 2 Ball VGA Cooler both bought here from newegg). my motherboard was @ 34'c, gpu 44'c & cpu 39'c, room temp was in the 70's'c. when i put the case cover on and the monster fan began to roll, there was no loud sound, in fact i could hardly tell that the fan was on...IT IS QUIET! i loved the case right away. after 5 minutes or so, my cpu temps went down from 39'c to 30-31'c.

Cons: wish it cost a bit less. ok continue the above: the gpu was now running at 34'c down from 44'c and the motherboard was now at 28'c from 34'c and my case was hard to hear, REALLY! I wish they made this case in full tower case. i have a full tower and it has about 6 fans on it and u do hear them. but this fan would not only illiminate the noise from all them 250 mm & 120 mm fans but i would get greeeeaaat cooling too. so heads up areocool, get jiggy with it and get a full tower out with an even bigger fan whahhahah. i would definately buy it.
there is no mesh over the fan so expect dust to build up on parts a bit faster than normal. that's not an issue for me though. a mesh would only cause the sound ot the fan to be louder as it pulls or push the air pass the mesh...i can live without the noise, a can of air and i'm good every 3 months.

Other Thoughts: the case is sturdy, and the mike & ear phones/usb placements plugs along with the power and reset buttons are in a good spot on the case for me. 1 thing that was even more commendable by areocool is the fact that the wires that came attached to the mike/ear phone/ usb plugs all have the right connecting plugs for the motherboard so u just plug and play. i was especially impress that i didn't have to go do physic and chemistry to try and figure out which wires go where, nope! each item had it's own correct plug, wondeful. when i use the ear plugs now on the case, it automically suspends the other audio outputs... genius. and because the blades r so huge it pushes a lot of air and forces the air out of the case without the need of any exhaust fans, amazing.....very very good work areocool, now just hurry with the full tower. newegg as always rockups seems to be improving....hope it will last.
