1 out of 5 eggsLooks Nice, from a distance

Pros: Lots of room
Attractive from a distance

Cons: DVD mounting holes dont line up with any DVDROMs I have (sony, asus, LG) They were off center by about 1/8th of an inch making it impossible to mount the drive. I had to drill new holes using a drill press.

Aluminum finish is rough to the touch, no where near the quality of the nMedia case I bough in 2007.

Other finishing touches were lacking, such as very ugly punch-out slot covers. I replaced them with slot covers from an old case that happened to fit.

Other Thoughts: This case looks nice in the cabinet, but the up close quality is very lacking. And the misplaced DVDROM mounting holes will cause you problems.

There is lots of space, although like most mediacenter style cases youll need to use low profile cards.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Looks like ht equipment. Nice old school look. Actual metal.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: I really like this. Brings out the engineer in a person as the instructions are extremely basic. But part of the fun! I like that it is actually metal and not plastic. Well spent $70.

I would recommend this for sure if you are into fancy-uppin' your pc. Looks professional.

2 out of 5 eggsdesign compromises for a micro atx htpc case

Pros: - not very expensive for a HTPC
- sturdy, steel construction (17 lbs)
- 4 external memory card readers (have not tested them yet)
- front connectors nicely hidden behind a smaller, foldable horizontal panel on the bottom of the front plate,
- 3 fans inside, very quiet though

Cons: - i was expecting the LED panel to come with the case. instead, i've searched NewEgg and found the LED panel to cost half the price of the case itself. there is no way, i mean *NO WAY* that i will pay so much for a *LED PANEL*.
- the LED panel, according to all the reviews, is green, not blue (like the power light), which is VERY incosistent visually.
- multiple reviewers had trouble to get the LED panel to work. one more reason to avoid buying it.
- the case itself could be smaller (1/3rd of the depth), i bought it only because i found it as one of the few HTPC cases that allow full height expansion cards
- the DVD mounting on the front panel is difficult to adjust to an actual DVD drive
- the internal chassis for mounting hard drives and CD/DVD drives is too big, takes too much space.

Other Thoughts: if you think about putting a video card like NVidia GTX285 with dual 6-pin power connectors on TOP of the card, not on its side, forget about this case. supporting full height expansion cards does not mean that every expansion card will fit in. i still wonder how i will be able to put the top cover on the case when NVidia's video card power connectors sticking upwards and not bendable enough.

4 out of 5 eggsGood but not perfect

Pros: Looks good, plenty of room, stays cool, good value for the price

Cons: The digital display is offset 1/16 in off of center, the mounting bracket not positioned correctly. The DVD door hangs up slightly on the tray when closing.

Other Thoughts: The digital display has green lighting and the power light is blue not a problem of the case but the display is made for the case

2 out of 5 eggsGirlfriend bought this for me, first HTPC build

Pros: I had a fun time putting this all together, this was my first HTPC build. I like the media card reader and the usb ports hidden on the front of the case. The silver finish on the front looks awesome. The fans are quite and generate nice cool air.

Cons: We have about 150 bucks in this case and I wish that I would have selected something else. The back panel has the thinnest metal ever made, you will end up bending the heck out of it. Luckily, you can almost bend it back into shape. My mobo's backplate is not aligned correctly which I've never had a problem with before.

Even though this is an mATX case, you better have a top of the line mATX motherboard to connect all of the front panels USB ports, eSATA port, iEEE, etc.

The manual says that you dont have remove the front panel to install the optional LCD screen. That is not true. I had to remove the front of the case to install it. In the manual it tells you to bend the case to get this in.

The optional LCD screen does not align correctly in this case. It is shifted to the right. There about a 1/4 inch gap on the left side. On the right side, the LCD goes past the inside edge.

The power button is blue, and the optional LCD screen is GREEN! It doesnt really match!!!

Other Thoughts: I hate to leave bad reviews, but this case and the optional ugly, high contract GREEN LCD screen are not up to par. If I would have purchased this at my local PC store, I would have taken it back. Cheap, shoty worksmanship on the LCD. You would think that someone in the nMediaPC company would have been responsiable for making sure the LCD screen aligned properly in there own case.

If this wasn't a bday gift it would have been rma'd.

If your not planning on installing the optional LCD, buy this case when it gets down to about 50 bucks.

4 out of 5 eggsLow Priced Full Featured Case

Pros: Overall, I'm impressed with this case. It looks good, and was easy to assemble as well as full-featured. I like the bottom door that covers the easily accessible USB, Media Readers and audio connections. The thumb screws for the top of the case is great, and it's easy to take on and off. For the price of this case, you even get an LCD display option, however, you have to buy the card. The case and components stay cool. The front panel is clean.

Cons: The molex connectors are the cheapest I've ever seen. I have a Scythe Ninja Mini in the case, but with my GA-M78GM-S2H mobo, the top of the case barely sits on the metal copper covers.

Other Thoughts: Very happy with purchase and passes the HAF. HTPC specs: BE-2400, Scythe Ninja Mini (passive), GA-M78GM-S2H mobo, StealthXStreme 500W PS, DVD-RW drive, old IDE HDD (for now), 2GB OCZ 800DDR RAM.

4 out of 5 eggsVery Nice

Pros: Inside layout is nice. Everything fits good and will take full heighth cards and tall large processor fans. Thick Alum. Front and sturdy steel case. Lots of venting on top and sides and rear. Left front side (Looking at the front) has 90mm fan and (2) 60mm fans cantered in rear. Also has place for another 90mm on right front side. Door for external DVD/CD and lower access panel for external connections are also alum. with nice fit. Uses ATX power supply and nothing is cramped in this case. This case stays very cool on all sides. Almost feels room temp. veniting at rear. The width of this case is pretty much like stereo or cable box components, 17 inches. Mine is silver to match the cable box but I think it's also available in black to match most stereo components like I have. (but not on the same shelf) Price is a little high for one without power supply. But you get what you pay for. It is a well made case and worth the extra money. I'm happy!

Cons: I would have givin it 5 eggs except for the depth. Roughly 16.5 inches. The mother board output will be nearly center of the rear. If you have an entertainment center with a solid back or rear center support(as I do), be carefull you have the room to use the outputs(USB, Audio, HDMI, etc...) Mine case is at the front of the shelf. And most things like power cord, HDMI cable, Audio cables have 0 tolerence at rear. Using most USB adapters that stick straight out will not have the room at he rear. I had to install a USB card on mother board to clear my center support for my USB wireless keyboard and USB wireless network adapter.

Other Thoughts: It does have room for 4 internal drives, but only 2 have rubber mounting. I would liked to have seen all with that although I don't use that many anyway. If you only use (2) drives in the rubber mounting and install a 90mm fan on the right side both will recieve cooling from these fans directly accross the drives...
