Other Thoughts: I have never left a single review before (yeah I'm that guy), but I wanted to for this case. I wanted a HTPC case that looked like it belonged in a home theater setup, but I wanted to use a full-size ATX board and have room for at least 4 HDD's. This case not only looks sleek sitting on the shelf under my audio receiver, but it had room for everything I wanted to install in it. The solid drive bay chassis swivels up and out for easy installation of the optical and HDD's and included are rubber mounts for each drive.

If I had to give one complaint about this case, it would be that you cannot mount the PSU, but in one direction. I would prefer it wasn't blowing hot air onto my CPU, but rather out the vents on the side. Not a deal breaker as I've encountered many cases like this. Also, the right hinge on the front door of mine was broken and required some epoxy to repair. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until well into my install and after playing with the door for a bit, so I can't guarantee that I didn't break it.

For those complaining about the drive installation, FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. I admit the English is not the best, but it clearly tells you the order to install all components and if you follow them, you'll have zero issues. Though I did notice one point in the instructions says to install the optical drive in 'Position B' and another says 'Position A'. Turns out that 'Position B' put the drive's control button smashed against the cases', preventing it from working. Switching it to 'Position A' solved that and the drive ejects and retracts smooth as butter.

Pros: -Attractive styling.
-Good dimensions for a HTPC.

Cons: -Front panel didn't open due to misaligned parts.
-Flimsy, light chassis.
-Cheaper looking in person compared to photos
-No Blu Ray logo as depicted in photos.
-Power button is plastic and feels cheap.

Other Thoughts: This case looks cool in the pictures, but is very cheaply made. The back expansion card panel was bent. I was easily able to bend it back due to how thin the metal is. The front panel that is supposed to open did not. The panel did not fit the case properly and it seams like they just jammed it into place. I didn't even attempt to put any parts in this case. As soon as I took it out of the box and inspected it, I knew I was sending it back. Ordered a GD07B instead.

Pros: Excellent looks, blends in with AV receiver.
Lots of HDD bays.
Easy to install components if you follow the directions

Cons: The only one I can think of is the front header cover hinges are kind of flimsy, probably could improve those a little.
The panel itself only offers 1 USB 3.0 connection. I understand that technology changes rapidly, but they probably could have gone ahead and put in 2 USB 3.0 connections.

Other Thoughts: I own one of these exact cases already which I use for a family members HTPC in their room, so naturally when it came time to build an HTPC for my living room I went back to NMedia. This case offers just about everything you need for such a setup. The instructions say you can install 6 3.5" HDDs in it which you can easily. However if you want to pay for it, you can get a 5.25" adapter and install a 7th 3.5 or 2.5" HDD in the optical slot if you don't need the optical drive. There is actually enough room for 2 more drives in the middle of the HDD cage but NMedia decided not to utilize that space because I guess they thought 6 drives was enough which makes sense.

With new motherboards on the market and the ability to use M.2 SSD drives as the system drive, that leaves 6 spaces for HDDs for storage which should be enough for all but the most serious of builders. It comes with all the hardware you will need to mount the various components as well as some wire management pieces which are useful for routing.

Its a solidly build unit that will last for many many years which is why I bought a 2nd one almost 7 years later after the 1st. I'd give it a perfect 5 egg but the little things like the front cover door mean it's not perfect but pretty darn close.

Pros: Fits nicely into my custom TV stand. Hooked it to a 55in Samsung Smart TV. It takes up about as much room as my Sony 7.1 receiver.

Cons: None whatsoever. Good price, and does exactly what I needed it to do.

Pros: This is a good case for a basic media center computer. Fits ATX motherboards with no problems. Room for multiple HD's. Can fit decent sized video cards. All the parts fit and after 4 years of use it is still working with no problems. It looks good. Nice blue light around the power button. Not overly tall or wide. Front door seems flimsy but it works good.

Cons: Only one way to mount the PSU, no provision for mounting the PSU to draw air from outside the case. It is a media case so expect a tight fit. Proper fan orientation is essential. Set them up to push air out of the case. Limited on the size of video card you can use. 10 inches is the hard measurement from back to HD enclosure. It doesn't mean that a 10 inch video card will fit. In fact, I wouldn't recommend anything over 9.5. Given that it takes a lot to push the pixels in a large TV a good video card is a must.

Other Thoughts: Adequate room for a standard build. Like all media cases, it is highly recommended that you use a power supply with modular cables. In fact almost required. Also recommend getting two 120 mm quiet fans. This is not a case to build a monster gaming system with large video cards or cpu's that need extra cooling or huge fans. I have run two GTX 660's in SLI, but watch the cooling.

Pros: Good airflow, nice looking case when front door is shut

Cons: The front hinge panel is jammed into the unit because its to big for its setting. I will need to shave it down with a dremel to make it fit.
I had to manhandle the case to get the power supply in. It's mounting area is not big enough and I had to shave off part of the fan next to it just to install with only 3 screws.

Other Thoughts: Make sure to plug the HD cables in before you put the assembly back in the case.... It is almost impossible to get your hands in there and I only installed one drive!

I can't speak to the other reviews stating the optical drive mounting issues. I am leaving a DVD/Blu-Ray out due to already having a PS3.

Pros: -Holds 6 hard drives AND an SSD, so 7 total.
-The optical drive and all hard drives screw into a single mount device which swivels, similar to an OEM Dell chassis, makes maintenance and assembling very easy
-Great quality of materials, front looks really sleek and clean when the flip door is closed.
-Size mimics an A/V receiver very well, I have this on the shelf underneath the receiver and it fits in perfectly.
-All fans are silent, and when the case is closed the case itself is very quiet

Cons: -It wasn't cheaper

Other Thoughts: I rarely write reviews but I had to for this case, because of so many people complaining about it due to their own stupidity. I saw the reviews about having to remove hard drives to install an optical drive, or remove the tray to wire something, etc etc. I thought--surely no case would be made in such poor fashion!

And I came to the conclusion that none of these people read the instructions. They clearly outline an order in which you are to wire and install components so that no such problems arise. I followed the instructions, installing the optical drive first (using the convenient markings for optical drive position, on the metal itself--don't know how people are messing up the placement of their drives), then the hard drives, starting with the bays next to the optical drive, and then wired them before finally placing the tray in the case. This resulted in all devices being wired, and in position properly first try. The packaging comes with zip-ties plus wire anchors that you can install anywhere you want. The cable management was easy and effortless.

Read the dang instructions, people. There are markings for what screw holes to use for optical drive vs hard drive, and its important. The order in which you install components is important. Overall the instructions made this an easy install with all 6 hard drives, plus an SSD and optical drive. Ran into no snags, did not cut myself, the wires are organized very easily--I can honestly say that all the complaints these people are making, are due to their own stupidity. Read the instructions, use the wire mounts and zip-ties, it's a great case and built very well.

Pros: mentioned in the previous review

Cons: Adding to my previous reivew, Have issues with LG bluray drive. due to drive caddy not square to case, the drive is angled to the side and the LG drive tray catches on the front hinged door. Had to remove the drive tray cover plate to allow the drive to eject. Very poor quality on the drive cage. Unable to fix issue without modding mounting holes.

Other Thoughts: I regret buying this case, would have returned it except for having modded the drive cage for the gtx 950 video card. I Just needed a low cost htpc case and 5 drive bays, which now is only 2 3.5 inch bays due to video card fit issues.

Pros: - Nice looking
- Spacious...until drive tray is installed
- Fits ATX board
- Plenty of vents
- Potential to be excellent case if willing to mod

Cons: - Drive cage / cabling is a nightmare
- Fitment isn't the best
- Included fans are pathetic
- Knock-out style expansion slots (we 1995 again?)
- No dust covers on air intakes
- PSU mounting holes no aligned (cannot get one screw in)
- PSU intakes air from inside case (cannot be mounted other way without modding)
- Doesn't allow for modern longer GPU's without modding drive cage / trays (which won't allow for the mounting of 2 drives)
- Latching front I/O panel (instead of magnetic, has fitment issues on mine as well)

Other Thoughts: As it stands in its stock form, its just an okay case. If you don't have a large GPU, and don't care about cable management, and you don't get frustrated easily, this case will be great for you. Some tips for assembly would be:

- Dry fit optical drive first, using only rear screws (leaving slightly loose), so you can slide optical drive to needed position. Mark the position on the drive, remove cage, tighten screws.
- Then and only then install hard drives. Connect all wiring to hard drives (power and data) before installing cage
- Get some sticky zip-tie mounts to be able to somewhat control cabling mess

However, in order to make this case excellent, you're going to have to be willing to do some mods.

My mods include:
- Removing right side 120mm fan mount to allow for mounting of AIO CPU Water Cooler
- Removing right side drive trays to allow room for AIO CPU Water Cooler
- Replace rear 80mm fans
- Modify PSU mounting to allow for external air intake
- Notch drive cage to allow for longer GPU (MSI GTX950 Gaming G2 in my case)
- Remove left side drive trays and turn inline with optical drive (makes wiring easier and simpler)
- Cutting larger holes in case sides for air intakes
- Installing dust filters in air intakes
- Painting inside black, just cuz

Pros: Size is nice for an audio rack. says htpc on the panel below the optical drive bay.

Cons: Very cheap built. Pain in the neck to install drives. Must install in a certain sequence or you have to remove drives and start over. Doesn't fit a 10 inch video card, even though the manufacturer says it does. Will have to cut (heavily modify) the drive caddy to fit my evga gtx 950 card, loosing 2 drive bays in the process, effectively making this case a 2- 3.5 inch bays, 1-2.5 inch bay, 1-5.25 inch bay. Bought this case due to having 5 - 3.5 inch bays. what a disappointment. Air flow is barely adequate. 120mm fan in the side, with the option of 2nd fan on opposite side. However, it appears that the 2nd fan was an afterthought. the openings are very small and likely not able to flow well. has 2 - 80mm fans in the rear of the case. who uses 80mm fans anymore? Fans are very cheap. Power supply only mounts with pulling air from inside the case. Overall build quality reminds me of a cheap $20 case. Easily the worst case I have ever worked with. Save your self some time, money and prevent a major headache by going with a Silverstone case. They are well built and easy to work with. Will not ever purchase a nMedia case again.

Other Thoughts: Using an old P45 C2D e8500 setup as a budget build htpc for my college age son. Will eventually replace this case with a Silverstone case when upgrade the mobo, cpu and memory.
