4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great case overall. Features a beautiful matte finish with a grid-like cover on the top and bottom for air. Very compact, but easily manages to fit a GTX 980.

Cons: The only con is the Delta 40mm fan that sits inside the PSU. Although Evga has greatly improved the noise of this fan with several revisions of this case, it still has a subtle 730Hz resonance tone at certain speeds.

Other Thoughts: Since the air enters the case through the bottom, it would be best to keep it on a hard surface such as a rubber mat.

Also, because the case is rather small, I would recommend going for a smaller cpu cooler. Evga's mITX CPU cooler, while it fits, is nearly impossible to install if you have big hands. However, the Noctua NH-L9i 95mm works wonders inside this case, and is virtually silent while keeping the CPU temperature 3 degrees below the average idle temperature for the Core i7-4770K.

4 out of 5 eggsHadron Air Mini-ITX

Pros: The Hadron Air is the perfect sized case. It is very well constructed with no sharp edges anywhere that I could find. I like the fact that I was able to fit a double height full sized graphics card in and still have about 1" to spare lengthwise. I love the styling as much as my previous favorite - the Silverstone Fortress series.

Cons: The two top mounted case fans are not as quiet as I expected - especially at this price-point. If the PC is sitting anywhere near you those fans will be obvious. I also wish they were 4 pin fans, not 3 pin. Might switch out for something quieter.

Other Thoughts: Overall a great case. i would buy again.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case!

Pros: Everything fit perfectly into the case. Really sleek and nice looking. Total steel construction and feels super sturdy. For their first case, EVGA knows how to impress.

I bought this case at $139.99 with MIR and it came with a free EVGA torq 10 mouse (79.99) and the mouse came with a free giant quality mouse pad. I think it was totally worth what I paid for seeing as this is the most solid and coolest looking mouse I've ever used.

Cons: There is not much room, but that's what you bought the case for, right? Solid construction. The inside could be painted black as well, but that's not a major problem for me. EVGA should give us the option to remove the hard disk cage though. I've seen some pictures of modded removals online and everything seemed great.

Other Thoughts: Case shipped and arrived in perfect condition. No scratches on the window. Just don't throw stuff at it and it should be fine. I would have definitely preferred a windowless option though.

4 out of 5 eggsNot perfect, but pretty darn close.

Pros: Small & light. I've had it for (exactly) six months now, & I gotta say that for a first venture into the computer case game, EVGA did a pretty good job. They couldn't have made it much smaller than it is without sacrificing either full-size GPU space or HDD space. It's also light enough (even when full) to move around as needed; I could easily use this as a portable desktop. (Although I have to hold it in place when plugging/unplugging anything on the front USB. XD)

Also the Hadron is stunningly stately for it's small size. It's small & unobtrusive, but if you let it, it will happily own the space it's in. I get lots of compliments on it.

Cons: Like I said, it's not perfect. There's a few quirks that may turn some people away from it:
-The paint job doesn't include the inside
-The side window scratches /super/ easy
-Because there's only two exhaust fans you get dust buildup around the ports & vents (ie, the front/side USB & audio ports)
-There's no HDD indicator light or reset button
-It's a royal PITA to work in once the motherboard is in (but that's to be expected)

Other Thoughts: Granted I already knew most of the cons when I bought it, so I'm not complaining. Despite the list of cons, I'm over-all quite pleased with EVGA's Hadron Air, & I haven't wanted to get a different mITX since purchasing it.

It could really benefit from a rubber pad on the front 'foot' as well as the back, & I wish now that there was a no-window option. Oh well. Maybe the Hadron 2 will. XP

The only unexpected flaw I've had is my power button was faulty out of the box. At first I had to press hard & wiggle to get it to turn on, & now after six months it's taking 10~30 seconds of fiddling with it to get it to power on. This is a con, yes, but I haven't seen any other cases of people having this problem, so I think I just got unlucky.

If anyone from EVGA wants to point me to somewhere I can buy a replacement power button assembly I'd be really appreciative. :D

4 out of 5 eggsOnly for those who want a small PC

Pros: If you want a mini-ITX system in a truly mini-case, this is likely the best option.
The pros about this case are fairly obvious, and they're why you're buying it. It's small and it looks good.
The included power supply is a plus as well, leaving you with one less part to worry about.
Given its mini-tower form factor, cable management and general component installation are as easy as they could be. Most comparably SIZED cases are cuboid, with a horizontal motherboard tray. I built a system in the Silverstone SG05 for a friend, and cables took up so much volume in that case that I was actually concerned that some might get damaged or tug too hard on connectors.
tl;dr : It looks good and somehow manages not to be worryingly cramped.

Cons: The Hadron looks almost perfect, if not for two missteps.
For starters, the windowed side panel is simply superfluous and honestly detrimental to the case's beauty. With such a small form factor, making your cables look nice requires some sort of magic trick. I would have much preferred a simple, clean, solid piece of metal over a scratch able window that reveals the unappealing innards of my machine. Even if the cables looked nice, they would be so packed that you might as well take a photo of spaghetti and tape it to your computer.
Speaking of cables....
As many others have likely said, the included front panel connectors and power supply cables are just plain ugly. A tan HD audio cable? Blue USB 3.0? Even if there were no window, I would be upset that these aren't black. Moreover, a tighter mesh on the psu cables would be much appreciated.
In short: EVGA did a disservice to themselves by including a side panel window and ugly cabling, and I would recommend covering the window in some fashion.
The fans are loud, but they're also free and move a lot of air. Loud and fast is better than nothing

Other Thoughts: Installation of the optical drive definitely requires a visit to the manual.

1 out of 5 eggsFirecracker psu

Pros: Love the size they got the right idea

Cons: Wow where should I start they my wife about had a heart attack when this firecracker started going off the power supply started popping so loud it was crazy it shot sparks out catching a newspaper it was sitting on on fire and smoke was just rolling out of the case all this after about 30sec of running it cook every part that was pluged into it mb,cpu, and memory are new and can be rma'd but 2 intel 512gb ssd, 1 intel 160gb ssd, and a WD 2tb hdd drive are now just out of warranty for a loss of $1000. Not including all the return shipping and time it will cost me till this is done.

Other Thoughts: I had high hopes for this case I hope evga pays attention to feedback and fix the few issues this case (1.) Get rid of the stupid slot load and use a tray load or at least make a dam list they sell a DVD rom lol that old hardware they have no blu-Ray or any thing that will fit use a try load and put a removable plate over it.
(2.) paint the hole case don't cheap out when get a premium price.
(3.) hdd cage removable
(4.) the psu cables only have 2 sata power plugs should be min of 4
The others have been posted by many other

5 out of 5 eggsA great little case

Pros: Very sleek look, everything looks quality, feels sturdy and very well laid out. It takes a bit of planning and patience but this case was surprisingly easy to work with if you take your time and do your research.

Cons: Literally the only issue I have is the case thumb screws are plastic (although they feel sturdy), bit of a weird thing to skimp on but no reason to deduct an egg.

Other Thoughts: My rig consists of:
Intel i5-4670k cpu /w EVGA mitx 92mm HSF
GIGABYTE GA-Z97N
8gb (4gb x 2) 1600mhz g.skill ares low profile memory
EVGA GTX 770 4gb gpu
Samsung 840 evo 120gb SSD

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Compact Case!

Pros: A very well thought out case that has only the necessary features required of a mini-itx case. The fans included are somewhat silent (not audible when watching a video or movie). Also the PSU fan is quiet as well. If your PSU is louder than usual you may have a faulty PSU.

Cons: The only con I can think of is that dust build-up can be a problem in the future as there are no filters. You can invert the top fan as an intake (which I haven't tried yet). I have read this leads to better cooling.

Other Thoughts: The smallest case I've ever owned (next to an hp slimline I bought in 2007). Make sure you buy a compatible GPU that will fit the case's dimensions. The power supply can power a GTX 780 which packs a lot of power for gaming.

1 out of 5 eggsPoor quality from EVGA?

Pros: small and sleek. looks beautiful

Cons: cables are actually extremely short... usb 3.0 does not even reach motherboards port. FRONT GLASS HAS SCRATCHES! That is a major let down! the glass came all scratched up! There is no place i can find to purchase another side panel for the glass... so im stuck with a scratched up side.. great

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Kevin S,

I am sorry for the confusion as the USB 3.0 cord should be long enough for most motherboard as this cable is made to fit as long as it is not routed behind the case or under the motherboard. I can also confirm that the side panel does come with a thin plastic covering on the outside of the case to guard against scratches, but this cover can easily scratch and needs to be removed to display the clear window. If you should need further assistance with removing this cover or if you should continue to have a problem then please call our 24 hour support at 1-888-881-3842 option 1 or by email at Newegg@evga.com as we are here to assist you.

Sincerely,
EVGA Customer Support

5 out of 5 eggsGood little case

Pros: Small and classy, comes with power supply, steel construction and two 120mm fans located at the top of the case.

Cons: Cable management is the only real con here, but it depends on the mobo.

Other Thoughts: This thing really is small, it should work well with any mini itx mobo.
