5 out of 5 eggsAwesome little box!

Pros: I just wanted to write a review on this here in the event someone finds it useful. The case is great, it's hands down the best looking and feeling mITX case on the market. Solid construction (heavy little sucker) and about as good a layout as you can get in this size.

Cons: None for me but some have had issues with the PSU fan being generally loud and/or ticking.

Other Thoughts: If you have issues with a loud PSU fan, it may not be faulty. The PSU is extremely sensitive to heat buildup. If you use an aftermarket directional CPU cooler I suggest pointing it's exhaust towards the top fans and have those both set as pull/pull out of the case. Setting them up in push appears to drive heat out through the PSU triggering the temp sensor to kick the fan on full blast.

This was just my experience with fan configs, push or push/pull triggered the fan to full blast, pull/pull resolves the issue. This does not apply to the ticking. And, as in all cases, its a good idea to use higher quality fans, AF120s are amazing in it.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good

Pros: Surprisingly easy build.
Good looking case.
Tall MB mounting pegs were great for underside M.2 SSD.
Power supply not as loud as expected.

Cons: Power supply not as quiet as others.
Only two SATA power headers.
No reset switch.
Stupid stupid stupid plastic shrouded screws; this is what knocked off an Egg from my rating.

Other Thoughts: A standard consumer size power supply could have been better for this consumer product. The power supply seems to be a standard server size, but considerations for server systems are different then consumer systems.

3 out of 5 eggsReally great case, but hard to build

Pros: Great looking
Clear window for see though
Reasonably priced while including PSU and fan
Great construction quality

Cons: Extremely hard to build when aftermarket CPU cooler is installed, impossible to reach anything on the motherboard once installed. I consider myself to have very small hands. This made it very tricky to install cause some cable are not long enough to be assembled outside the case. You'll have to struggle with it for hours before figuring out how to put things together. But once you do, it's easy to do it again.
PSU noise level is higher than a good quality one, due to the small fan
The top fan is NOT quiet. I can't say it's loud but it's not one of the high quality fan either. For people expecting a perfect build, swapping out the fan is necessary. Also, no fan filter

Other Thoughts: Because this is the first case EVGA ever build, it's understandable to have a few quirks. This is definitely not one of the perfect case for mITX and the build difficulty is high. I'm actually pretty worry about it may break my MB cause i can barely squeeze it into the case

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent.

Pros: You really can't do better in the mini ITX space. Gorgeous case, easy to cable manage in (within reason, of course), the right amount of space to work in, and holds lotta stuff that other mITX cases don't. Plus, it keeps my stuff cool, which is a really hard thing to do with other cases also.

Cons: Fans aren't the quietest thing ever; they kick out lots of air, but are about as quiet as CM's SickleFlow fans, which I've had plenty of and are quite loud. No "real" form of cable management, so you gotta be creative. Pulls dust in from the weirdest places...

Other Thoughts: Get it. Any system would do good in this case, from a lowly Pentium/750 Ti build (my last) to a little harder 4690K/970 build.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect little mini-itx case. Superior quality and functionality.

Pros: Comfortably fits my Asus Maximus mini-itx motherboard, full graphics card and somehow has a little room leftover for airflow.
The craftsmanship very high quality. The case is sturdy and everything fits together precisely.
The top exhaust fans are excellent and provide plenty of air flow without being too loud, though I'm swapping them out for Corsair while LED fans to give the case a little more aesthetic showiness.

Cons: The 40mm power supply fan is the most noticeable sound produced when running, but it's nothing to be concerned about, just a soft whir in the background.

Other Thoughts: This case is perfect for me. I love the mirror finish on the front and it is a perfect size and design to sit right next to my monitors on top of my desk. Keep in mind this case will run a little warmer than full ATX builds simply due to the size, but with stock cpu cooling my processor stays below 72 C under load. I'm considering upgrading to another CPU cooler to allow overclocking. Overall I am extremely pleased with this case.

5 out of 5 eggsFun little box

Pros: This little powerhouse is capable of housing some pretty intense hardware! very clean and svelt outward appearance isn't done justice in the pics.

case feels very sturdy and confidence inspiring when taking to a lan or on a trip

Cons: as often stated in other reviews, the paint is rushed but with a finished build it's only noticeable when u have the windowed panel removed. t obviously can be a knuckle buster if you're using an aftermarket cooler but with a bit of forethought it's no sweat!
i put the cooler on and attached mobo power cables before placing the mobo into the tray, then connecting hard drives, then gpu.

Other Thoughts: i've had this case since right after release and my PSU is still going strong, daily use on a gtx 780ti and a 980 on the way!

i've had a lot of fun modding it and as a veteran of custom computing i rather enjoyed the little challenges it has thrown at me. Not to say this case is difficult to get a system running in, but if you really want a clean and presentable build this case poses a few challenges given it's small amount of space, particularly if you are using a GPU that takes up almost the maximum of space as can fit.
i eventually removed the hard drive cage by drilling out the rivets, velcro'd my 2 SSDs and 2.5 HDD to the front of the case, and hid the wires with a peice of acrylic. looks stellar with cougar green LED top fans, EVGA cpu cooler, and that glowing GEFORCE GTX on the gpu =]

Would recommend this case to anyone who wants a small but powerful rig. or if you're a lunatic like myself and want to cut some scythe slim housing's nown and mount them on a 30mm 240rad, like note on overclock

5 out of 5 eggsOnly a tiny complaint, great case

Pros: The 500W PSU can run my high-end build without breaking a sweat, the small fan in it is quiet.

Cons: After about a day of use, one of the fans on the top of the case began making a rattling sound, and it's been doing that for the last couple of hours. Nothing seems to help, nothing is loose or vibrating against the fan. The sound comes and goes, but mostly it's there.

Other Thoughts: Fantastic case, worth it

4 out of 5 eggssolid case

Pros: nice solid feel, no flex, beefy power supply.

Cons: only 2 sata power connectors, but 4 molex, odd since you'd hope fully not be putting in anything that old in a new build, but you can buy adaptors to fix that.

Other Thoughts: also while the drive bays are tool free, you can put one 2.5" or 3.5 in each bay, just popped in a rosewill ssd tray to put both of my drives in. the 120 mm fans are not pwm, so that's on my list of things to swap out.

5 out of 5 eggsWell Engineered

Pros: I just finished putting a couple of these together for a small business that has need of graphics and didn't want large cases on or beside their work areas.
These small cases are as well engineered as any I've come across. Well made, with steel heftier then the standard flimsy gauge steel and plastic in most cases.
I didn't use liquid cooling so assembly was straight forward and the finished product looks very neat and professional, inside and out.
If you're considering the Hadron case take a couple minutes to review the assembly videos and be prepared to source the EVGA slim slot CD-ROM wherever you can, they are proprietary and not much is said about it, they only mentioned was a caddy was included.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: rock-en-roll is here to stay
