Xion skimped on nothing when it made the XION II XON-103 case: all the options were included, all the requirements exceeded, and it's a knockout value. They started with the basics -- the fans. The designers went big for maximum air flow with a 120mm blue LED intake fan up front, and another 120mm exhaust fan in the rear. Not content with that though, an 80mm fan was mounted on the side panel window, in the center of Xion's trademark X, to breathe relief directly onto the motherboard.

Up front wasn't forgotten either, with the spacious four 5.25" and two 3.5" external drive bays, all protected with style behind their door. Inside is just as impressive with a massive five bays for the internal hard drives. Durability wasn't forgotten -- the whole assembly is wrapped in the stregnth of steel, to keep your investment safe!

  • newegg Maximum Expandability with 11 Drive Bays The XION II XON-103 boasts four external 5.25" drive bays, two external and five internal 3.5" drive bays for peerless expandability.
  • newegg Highly-efficient Ventilation Dual 120 cm cooling fans with fan holders in the front (intake) and rear (exhaust) and one 8cm fan on the side panel ensure highly-efficient ventilation for great heat dissipation.
  • newegg 450W Power Supply The XION II XON-103 is equipped with a strong 450W ATX PSU for reliably strong power and the ability to support more devices.
  • newegg Convenient Front I/O Panel The convenient front I/O panel enables easy access to two USB 2.0 ports and two audio ports.

4 out of 5 eggsmy opinion

Pros: Cheap, looks nice. Easy to pop everything out to put the other things in. Like cd/dvd drives etc.

Cons: Okay, the hub in the front panel..the usb went out on me like within 2 months. The headphones worked good, not sure about the mic never got one to work on it. The power supply..I didn't really buy the case for the power supply..but I let me dad use it and it went out just awhile ago..only been in use for a few months. It blew up on him..shot fire etc. Small..I didn't think when I bought this case..it doesn't have a lot of room for what I have, it can fit it fine..but just it get's really hot. The fan that's behind the door is really hard to get to, to clean out.

Other Thoughts: Where I was at before I moved the computer to a different spot I did use the top of the case as a mouse pad lol...if you do that you're gonna get a lot of black on ya. The colors are nice, I did buy the wrong one..didn't noticed that they was 4 different cases listed. I totally bought this for the wrong reasons..I did buy it cause it was nice looking and cheap, but now I'm regretting it.
It's okay if you don't have a lot of stuff..at first the case kept my cpu and mobo at 50c, now they're at like 70-80c..if you live in a hot area and you just buying this case for the price..I serious suggest buying a bigger case. If your system is gonna be tiny then cool, buy this case, you prob won't need the extra room from a bigger case. I would love to use this case for a different system..if I ever build one..but I won't be getting another one until this one dies on me most likely.

5 out of 5 eggsGood case

Pros: Built my computer 5 years ago using this box. Have been more than happy with it. Great box. It looks so cool.

Cons: On-board fan bit the dust a few months ago. However, I believe it was because I had the power supply set to wrong voltage for a few days. It only cost $15 to replace fan.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Case

Pros: Great case, looks great, keeps sound in. Comes with 2x 120mm fans, fairly quite, great air flow over HDDs.

Cons: PSU that came with box, just as most of these cheap cases, was terrible. Light as a feather PSU and no SATA power connectors to speak of. Plan to buy a much better power supply.

Other Thoughts: The PSU in a lot of these cheaper cases are not all that great, I always suggest getting your own PSU and keeping the one you get in the case as a backup or or side projects. Watch drive placement in consideration with video card selection, especially with SLI and the larger video cards.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Case

Pros: Its a solid case and you have to love the lights and everything. I love looking through the window during nights and seeing everything all lit up and stuff.

Cons: As some have mentioned, the power supply is kind of lacking, especially the power connectors, could use SATA for sure.

Other Thoughts: Good buy, maybe get a new PSU and some SATA adapters/spliters

2 out of 5 eggsBeware the PSU

Pros: It really is a good case for the price, even minus the PSU. Aifrlow is good, size and workability is good.

Cons: Could use more locations to mount extra fans, power for included fans are molex and not 3 pin board fans, existing cabling for included fans and front panel is counter-intuitive.
The PSU is garbage! See Other Thoughts

Other Thoughts: I've used this case several times and each time the PSU has died before it's time. My most recent customer actually had the PSU spew smoke and fire out of it's fan before it went down. One of my own personal computers had it's PSU buy the farm last night in an anti-climactic sputter after less than a year. By all means, buy the case, but find another use for the PSU. Paperweight or Doorstop comes to mind.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The case looks great, and although it seemed to be made a little cheaper than other high-quality cases, it still seemed like it was tough. I had actually bought this for a rebuild that was later sold online, but I thought about purchasing this case for my own computer.

Cons: None that I can think of.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: I've had this case for two years now and it has served me well. Good size and plenty of air flow.

Cons: The power supply sucks, I replaced it.

Other Thoughts: If you do buy this case, make sure to take off the grate on the side panel fan, It reduces the airflow by like half.

1 out of 5 eggsBuyer Beware

Pros: Not a bad priced case, decent visual appearance.

Cons: Well after no problems with the case for almost 7 months things went TERRIBLE. Power supply just went out while i was using the computer.

Would not be a overly huge deal if it were not for the fact that it took my Motherboard, and Hard drive with it when it went out.

I am VERY VERY VERY VERY disappointed in this case right now and warn anyone who is considering this case to look towards a more reputable company.

Other Thoughts: This case is not bad BUT the power supply is trash and when it goes apparently enjoys company when it does so.

Please for your own sanity and wallet don't purchase this cheap case, there are other options which would most likely be better.

1 out of 5 eggsBAD PSU

Pros: My case came well shipped, no physical problems, came with everything described. Its a very nice blue color.

Cons: I got this At in the third week of May... its the second week of September and the PSU just died. I am very upset actually with that. I bought this expecting a Case with a power supply. I didn't expect to have to turn around and purchase a new PSU 4 months later. Don't plan to use this case with the PSU, its a nice case, terrible power though.

Other Thoughts: My power button don't light up, but that's not a huge deal.
