4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case for the Price

Pros: Low cost. Optical drive / 2.5" HDD cage decently designed. 3.5" HDD mounting bracket lifts the drive a quarter inch off the case bottom. Power supply leaves considerable wattage surplus with my Mini-ITX build. The lower-right port cover closes with nano USB receiver plugged in. Rebate was processed quickly.

Cons: The PSU fan is louder than expected--could be due to its placement in the front-left corner. Installing an SSD or 2.5" HDD would reduce noise from fan exhaust. I had to relocate it to the back-left corner. (Fits but now can't use PCIe slot.) Front audio pin connectors are somewhat confusing.

Other Thoughts: Some might consider the case thickness to be too thin. It wasn't an issue for me, but I can understand if some do. Having to both move the PSU to the back and open it to lower the voltage across the fan was more work than expected, but did work out thanks to Mini-ITX Mobo. Better to design this case with 3.5" HDD bracket and PSU stacked in back corner--even if it increases height.

5 out of 5 eggsUpdate

Pros: Reference my review below. I was waiting on parts to fix some of the problems on arrival. Customer service came through! Only waited about 2 weeks and I received all the replacement parts that I needed. They also threw in a few extras for good merit!

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsGood Case.

Pros: Quiet unlike earlier versions of the case. Just barely enough room for a full sized M-ATX board.
Power supply is enough for pretty much anything you can fit in there.

Cons: The drive cage does not have any way to keep itself from slipping back out of position. Solution: Zip-ties.
The audio and usb headers are not in a single plug unlike most cases but still easy to figure out thanks to the internet.

Other Thoughts: I find that the most efficient way of using these cases is getting both a 2.5" hdd and ssd if desired. There will be no noticeable performance decrease and this allows you to have 2 drives.
They have also started adding a fan speed regulator to the inside of the power supply. This has made the case much quieter having bought both versions.

5 out of 5 eggsCheap but simple

Pros: Small computer with ATX form factor

Cons: As previous review says, front audio is AC97, not an HD audio. The only convenient way to install the hard drive is installing any 2.5" HDD or SSD. 3.5" will give you a trouble to attach cables

Other Thoughts: I bought this case because it is small, The size is very important on this computer for me. I assembled the computer based on this case with out using the manual. The construction of this case was even understandable for my friend who never built any computer and even he got it with out reading any manual. So who ever write that he has the problem with the manual for this case, he's probably only a good reader. Another thoughts. Using today AC97 audio is ridiculous, the could insert the cable for HD audio, but this is not important to me. What is more important, If you use 3.5"HDD you will have problem to attach the cables to the HDD, because the distance between HDD sockets and PSU so small that even if you attached the cables to this HDD, the are so tight and bent, so you will have a real chance to break HDD cables. Even though on my cons and other thoughts, this is a good case, easy to assemble and easy to use. That's why I don't want to take any egg from my eavaluation on this case

2 out of 5 eggsThe Depth is over 16" not 14"

Pros: Looks attractive and good value

Cons: HTPC builder beware !
The depth of this case is not 14" as the spec. indicated.
It is actually over 16" ! which caused my RMA.
but I was very satisfied with NewEgg service.

4 out of 5 eggsYou decide

Pros: Small and light

Cons: case fan + power supply fan = LOUD

Other Thoughts: To fix the loud fan issues, you need take out the 12v fan pin and switch it with the 5v pin. Remove the cover for the power supply, cut the 12v wire to the fan and wire it externally to the 5v. People may be concern with overheat but so far I haven't experience any yet. For this build, I use the asrock fm2 micro atx with the amd quad apu. There is no additional video card install. I think this is why the unit doesn't over heat. The fan that come with APU is a little loud, you can go into bios and set it to 5 or 6. But mine to work, I had to upgrade to the latest BIOS.

1 out of 5 eggsGet what you pay for...

Pros: Looks Decent.

Cons: Very Loud PSU Fan w/ proprietary form factor.
Case fan has molex connector instead of 3-pin.
Case is AC97 *only*.

Other Thoughts: If you want a quiet case, this item is not for you.

If you have a newer motherboard that does not support the outdated AC 97 spec, this item is not for you.
