5 out of 5 eggsAmazing case for the $$budget$$

This review is from: XION XON-560 mATX/ ITX Meshed Mini Tower Case, USB 3.0, Black/Blue LED

Pros: -bottom mounted PSU
-Smallish form factor (about as small as you will find in a standard width micro ATX factor)
#Modern:
#USB 3.0 on the front of case (also can plug into a USB 2.0 slot instead with included USB lead split.)
#Can mount a 200mm fan on the side of the case, a 120mm closed loop liquid cooling system.

VERY well-ventilated. The entire front is mesh. BOTH sides have holes for 20cm/200mm fans (or 4x120 mm) Bottom mounted PSU allows for hot air to do what hot air does (rise) and exit the top of the case (assisted by a 120mm fan.

Decent cable managment with cable cutouts on the side. More room behind the Motherboard tray than some cases... allows a little bit more ease sliding the side of the case to slide back on over the cables. This can be a chore on some cases.

A place to mount an SSD, and removable drive bays (x2) include holes on the bottoms of the brackets to mount 2.5" SSD/ laptop HDDs.
This case is well suited for a modern day, smallish-form-factor gaming PC. I have been thinking of buying this for awhile on my next build, and will buy another when I build for my brother.

Cons: 1 minor gripe: The top of the case COULD easily have been engineered to fit a 140mm fan [or] 2x120mm fans. As is... you will need a drill to modify the case if you want to mount a 240mm radiator to the top of this case... BUT with a ruler and a piece of wood, you could EASILY build a template and modify this case with a drill for this. Depends on your budget and how much aesthetics are a concern. Obviously, a drill-job will not look perfect (although I've made them look pretty darn good in the past).

Other Thoughts: When are they going to give up on the 5.25 inch front bays. CDs and DVDs are dead or dying. I would rather have them shorten the cases and include a modular square box that will fit something like 2x 3.5 HDDs or up to 4 x 2.5 SSD's and the box screws into any space where you can mount a 120/140mm fan. Then, the case designer meshes out the entire case and puts 120/140mm holes on all the surfaces allowing builders to configure (an even smaller case) with 240mm radiators, 120 mm radiators, fans galore, etc... This case is great... but looking at it makes me think that it could be even better.

5 out of 5 eggsCool for kids

This review is from: XION XON-560 mATX/ ITX Meshed Mini Tower Case, USB 3.0, Black/Blue LED

Pros: - Shinny
- Spinny lights
- Makes beep noises

Cons: - Price

Other Thoughts: Got this for my tween kid's rig. Loves it, adds to the cool toy factor. It works well, but for what it is costs too much.

4 out of 5 eggsGood enough case for what you'll need it for.

This review is from: XION XON-560 mATX/ ITX Meshed Mini Tower Case, USB 3.0, Black/Blue LED

Pros: Price
Airflow

Cons: There isn't much space to work your cords around and if you do decide to buy a 200mm fan for the side, be sure the psu fits with it. It was probably made to have an mATX psu because I had to adjust the fan higher or it would be impossible to close the panel.

Other Thoughts: As nice as it looks, it isn't as functional as it could be. Maybe if the sides were a lot wider it could fit a 200mm fan

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Basic Case

This review is from: XION XON-560 mATX/ ITX Meshed Mini Tower Case, USB 3.0, Black/Blue LED

Pros: Was building a desktop computer for my mom and had a friend help choose out parts. We eventually chose this as the price was right and it looked adequate enough.

We were both surprised by how sturdy the case felt for the price. Very stable and doesn't vibrate from drives running hard. It also has enough room for okay cable management even when using a non modular PSU as long as you get a little creative. The SSD bay on the side works well - feels very clean being out of the way and unnoticeable.

The tool less drive bay is nice. Fits 3.5 or 2.5 easily.

The included fans are very quiet. The loudest thing you can hear from this case is the regular HDD spinning. Or I'm deaf. Your mileage may vary.

Cons: The power and reset buttons feel cheap. They're like something on a Fisher Price knockoff.

The drive bay on the bottom cannot be removed, or at least we didn't find a way to remove it so we could move cables around more. Speaking of the bay, plugging SATA cables into your drives can be kinda awkward since the space where every other I/O cable goes through is already kinda packed making it difficult to feed the cable into to keep everything clean looking. There's also very little room behind the bay to plug them into the drives - very cramped.

The I/O cables in our case weren't labeled clearly for some reason.

Tons of ventilation, to the point where anything can get in. Gonna need to buy a lot of canned air for this.

Fingerprint magnet.

Other Thoughts: I'd imagine it you wanted to install more fans for something like a liquid cooled setup all the extra vent mount points would give you a lot of options.

My mom was happy with having a new computer and she finds it pretty, especially the blue lights on the front.

This review is from: XION XON-560 mATX/ ITX Meshed Mini Tower Case, USB 3.0, Black/Blue LED

Pros: Has great venting and lower mounting power supply. Allows high end components to stay cool with stock cooling. Plenty of room for cable management as well

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome case

This review is from: XION XON-560 mATX/ ITX Meshed Mini Tower Case, USB 3.0, Black/Blue LED

Pros: I really didn't expect to get a high quality case for such a low price, but this case is great. The large 4-pin fans are remarkably quiet and the tool-less removable drive bays are sturdy and convenient. The light and gloss finish reflect a clean style. I also like the top-vent and bottom mounted PSU. The case is just wide enough to fit a 212 EVO heat sink. So with the large quiet fans and aftermarket heat sink, my system runs remarkably quiet and remarkably cool, and it looks good too.

Cons: None, just wish it could hold an ATX.

Other Thoughts: I love this case.

5 out of 5 eggsGood for the price

This review is from: XION XON-560 mATX/ ITX Meshed Mini Tower Case, USB 3.0, Black/Blue LED

Pros: -Plenty of fans can be attached
-Bottom mounted PSU
-Comes with 2 120mm fans, one blue led, one no leds
-Size, It's a bit smaller then an average mid tower, but still pretty big.

Cons: -The PSU will get in the way if you put a 220mm fan on the side. I fixed this by heating a butter knife and cutting a small notch in the fan at the right place so the sides would fit closed.
-Cable management is a pain and non-existant, not that big of a deal to me since i had 4 fans in this case.

Other Thoughts: Used it for an old HP Core 2 quad PC. Just took most of the components from that PC and put them in this case. Now they run a lot cooler and there is a lot less in the case allowing more air to pass through. Gave it a GT 620 and now it plays a few games on medium, and streams HD video nicely.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Case, but came a bit damage

This review is from: XION XON-560 mATX/ ITX Meshed Mini Tower Case, USB 3.0, Black/Blue LED

Pros: It is a very good case, it fit everything I needed and have plenty of space for ventilation.

Cons: It may not be the manufactures fault, but the back of my case where the graphics card slots are came bend. I was able to bend it back to shape, but still.

Other Thoughts: The description claims it can fit a 220mm fan, but it can't. The fan's diameter is too big, and will get in the way.
