5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding design

This review is from: XION XON-560 mATX/ ITX Meshed Mini Tower Case, USB 3.0, White/Blue LED

Pros: Plenty of space behind the tray for cable management.

Solid build - thick panels don't bend easy.

Cons: Open mesh sides allow dust an easy entrance.

Other Thoughts: I liked it so much I bought two.

3 out of 5 eggsIt's a love/hate thing

This review is from: XION XON-560 mATX/ ITX Meshed Mini Tower Case, USB 3.0, White/Blue LED

Pros: It's cheap and it can house your necessary components and it's pretty lightweight. It'll get the job done for a budget build.

Cons: It looks somewhat mediocre. The paint is very thin and it had scratches as well as a messed up screw for one the fans. The USB 3.0 cable had a messed up pin hole, which resulted in one of my motherboard's pin breaking off.

Other Thoughts: Since this is my first PC build, I should'nt complain to much about it. But this case makes you feel like you didn't really get a bang for your buck. I personally had trouble fitting my non-modular power cables around the back of the case. If you want a better experience with this case, I highly suggest you get yourself a modular power unit so cable management is a bit more easier. Also, check the cables that are attached to the case's front panel to make sure they are okay.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat looking case and just large enough for a standard gaming build

This review is from: XION XON-560 mATX/ ITX Meshed Mini Tower Case, USB 3.0, White/Blue LED

Pros: Bottom mounted PSU!! Drive bay layout creates a little spare working room. Optional SSD mounting spot!! Easy to disassemble/assemble. Front Panel options--all the basics!! Fantastic color/design. Cable management..

Cons: The supplied Intake fan mounts between facia plate and case. This is ok unless you plan to install your own Intake fan that has magnetics to it. I had to use tin snips and cut out a hole so my Intake fan motor wouldn't magnetize itself to the case. Not knocking an egg since supplied fan is fine enough for most people. OH, BEWARE! If you plan to put a large 220/200 mm fan on the side.... the thickness of the fan must be under 25mm or it will hit up against your psu... unless you have a freakishly small psu like my mini.

Other Thoughts: Overall, I'm pretty impressed with this case. It has USB 3.0 on front, more drive bay slots than I need, bottom mounted PSU, and has a slot for the SSD. With a little time and patience, cable management is good. Best of all, it looks nice even if I leave it on top of my desk.

4 out of 5 eggsGood but not without its flaws

This review is from: XION XON-560 mATX/ ITX Meshed Mini Tower Case, USB 3.0, White/Blue LED

Pros: -Small but still has enough room for all your components
-Very cheap
-Sleek design & cool LEDs
-Provides decent cable management
-Easy access to the front, back, and side of the computer

Cons: -Material, including the metal, feels thin and cheap
-The slots for your PCI cards have metal that you must remove permanently in order to have access to the slot (except for the top one, which is replaceable).
-Though there's enough room for a microATX mobo and all the other components you need, the space does get tight. So tight that I couldn't actually plug the USB 3.0 front connector into my mobo, because a piece of metal from the optical drive bay was sticking out too close to the 3.0 port. My advice is to be careful what mobo you select since you might not have access to every port on it.
-The cable management system for running cords behind the mobo is a little tight. Once I had ran cords through, I had a very hard time pushing the sliding case door into place. There is only a fraction of an inch of space inside that case door, so you really have to get your cables in just the right position to get it closed.

Other Thoughts: -Overall, a good case. But the fact that it is a mATX definitely shows. If you're getting a mATX mobo, I might still recommend getting a regular ATX case so that you have a little less stressful computer building experience.

4 out of 5 eggsPleased Overall

This review is from: XION XON-560 mATX/ ITX Meshed Mini Tower Case, USB 3.0, White/Blue LED

Pros: Perfect size for micro atx

Bottom mount power supply

Front panel looks very nice

Fans are quiet

Front panel comes off without any wires attached

Cons: It's a little thin but at this price point completely acceptable

Other Thoughts: Be sure to remove the pcie slot covers before you install the motherboard, since they are twist off type.

Bought this for a white build

5 out of 5 eggsNeat & Clean & Oh So Pretty

This review is from: XION XON-560 mATX/ ITX Meshed Mini Tower Case, USB 3.0, White/Blue LED

Pros: *Bottom mount PSU configuration
*Cable management space behind MOBO with easy acces
*If you get creative, there's nothing in the way of airflow
*Lots of space, big enough to accomodate my big CPU cooler
*Easy access for installing/changing HDDs
*Looks sharp in white with black screws and optical drive

Cons: Mobo standoffs were a tight fit for my screws and not quite placed optimally, but when have they ever been?

Other Thoughts: I was actually looking for something a little smaller, but this was in my price point and I'm glad I got it.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid

This review is from: XION XON-560 mATX/ ITX Meshed Mini Tower Case, USB 3.0, White/Blue LED

Pros: Quality-wise this is the best case I have seen in this price range. It is also a pretty sharp looking case. Nothing feels flimsy and you can tell some thought has been put into the design. Please note that I am not comparing this to a $100 case as you will find shortcomings if you do.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I would purchase this case again.

Vertical SSD mount was different and am not sure I am a fan. I think the thought was to make more room for a GPU if needed? If I was purchasing a GPU of that size I would be buying a bigger case. Regardless, it works if you need it. I mounted mine in one of the lower two HDD bays.

4 out of 5 eggsAmazingly Built Case for the Price

This review is from: XION XON-560 mATX/ ITX Meshed Mini Tower Case, USB 3.0, White/Blue LED

Pros: -Great Build Quality
-Color and LED makes it look amazing
-Easy cable management
-Comes with hard drive trays
-Motherboard standoffs already installed
-Fits well with a 212 EVO

Cons: -Annoyingly, it is missing one standoff in the bottom right part for a microATX board. I just didn't screw it in there. Seems like it would fit any other board size well though.
-Very annoying to screw in one of the motherboards screws because it is half blocked by the case.

Other Thoughts: I have already built two computers in this case and really love it. Other than the weird motherboard standoff problem there really isn't anything wrong with this case and the price is great.

4 out of 5 eggsCharming budget box

This review is from: XION XON-560 mATX/ ITX Meshed Mini Tower Case, USB 3.0, White/Blue LED

Pros: All knurled edges, so no cut fingers or wires
Mount rack for 2 fast swap 3.5" drives
Light but sturdy
Good aesthetics
Fantastic room for expansion; cool SSD mount (check images); clever mounting style of plastic drive bays
Easy to do EXTREMELY clean wire management
Room for widely varied cooling options and fans
Cushions for PSU mount; rubber dampers for many screw-mount points of drives.
I used a non-modular ATX PSU and had no issues with room
Can breathe easily, comes with 2 large, quiet fans
The color scheme lets you use black or white hardware and nothing will look out of place, a huge plus for people re-using parts.
Pretty white light from front fan and power button

Cons: The dual-bay 3.5" cage is riveted in and cannot be removed without ruining its soft-metal mounts
All plastic feels a bit brittle
Case came with very minor scratches around screws and paint is very thin, interior paint job has no gloss coat inside, and bare metal nearly visible in parts
Wish all back PCI panels were modular; only top one is, rest must be broken off.
Would like 2 USB 3.0, but this is still a good value
Jarring red-pink light on reset button (this is the HDD LED, so red flickers often) - unless I wired something wrong, I'd prefer this to be white, yellow or amber, green or blue, but not red.

Other Thoughts: The exterior of this looks great and you can fit about anything you wish inside, as long as you're not going to 3 card SLI or bigger :p

My complaints were rather minor, as this was a nice case to work with and it looks very chic.
