Xion Power!

Xion skimped on nothing when designing the XON-985-BK gaming case: every option was included, every requirement was exceeded, and it's a knockout value. They started with the basics - the fans. The designers went big for maximum airflow with two 120mm blue LED front fans and a 120mm rear fan, as well as extra fan mounts for future cooling upgrades. A removable HDD pull-out tray in the right-mounted cage and a tool-less ODD bay makes drive installation and maintenance a breeze. With features such as black internal finish for a sleek look, front panel USB 3.0 connectivity, and cable management compartment, this case is a phenomenal choice for your dream system.

Sleek Form Maximizes Airflow

  • Unique high-performance mid-tower case
  • Large honeycomb steel mesh design
  • Black internal finish for sleek look

Install and Replace Parts With Ease

  • Customize your system with the latest parts: Features support for larger heat sinks, graphics cards, and E-ATX motherboards.
  • Install all your drives with ease: The removable HDD pull-out cage provides large storage capacity for up to seven HDDs. Innovative, right-mounted HDD design and screw-less ODD bay enable easy installation and replacement.
  • Swap SATA HDDs effortlessly: Convenient top-mounted, hot-swap enabled, front-loading dock for SATA HDD (both 3.5" and 2.5").

  • Less cable clutter: Cut-outs on motherboard tray and cable compartment enable tidy cable management and unimpeded airflow for stable system operation.
  • Easy-access front panel: Two USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports, and two audio ports located at the front panel allow easy access to a variety of peripherals. Fan control knobs for up to four fans are also conveniently arranged on top panel.

Optimized Cooling Support

  • Exceptional built-in cooling measures: The XON-985-BK case comes equipped with two 120mm front blue LED fans, one 120mm rear fan, and easily removable dust-filters for optimal airflow and excellent dust prevention.
  • Optimize your cooling system: Cooling capacity of up to six 120mm fans, or five 120mm and one 140mm fans.
  • Liquid cooling support: Water tube slots on the rear allow easy water cooling set-up and maintenance.
  • Keep your PSU isolated and cool: The bottom mounted PSU design enables independent and optimized cooling. Attached filter enables better maintenance and less dust buildup.

4 out of 5 eggsWant a cheap but fairly sturdy frame on a budget, then bingo

Pros: -Surplus of HDD bays
-Tons of work space and movement of air
-Top side HDD connection
-Removable top for cooling fan access
-Abundance of cooling fan options
-LARRRGGEE side panel window, pretty awesome
-Decent dust filters in place
-Beautiful mesh front paneling
-Fan & light speed knobs
-Looks awesome with illumination

Cons: -Not horrific but isn't exactly Cable Management friendly. Looks a bit messy.
-No top dust filter
-No removable HDD sectioning
-Terribly difficult to reinstall front dust filter
-Little to no room for top radiator (even so, not an ideal tower for it anyways)
-Not entirely sturdy but isn't flimsy either

Other Thoughts: I'd surely recommend this product 100% if it were $10-15 cheaper. Even though it has a considerable amount of room, cooling fan options with decent dust filters, great looking mesh panel and HUGE side window, the material isn't the greatest. The side panels aren't flimsy but not sturdy, have little flex. Corner and top paneling including top fan cover is plastic, susceptible to cracking if not careful. Not radiator savvy so not for an experienced hardcore gamer, not to mention its not Liquid Cooling compatible with a pretty ugly cable management system

2 out of 5 eggsToo narrow

Pros: Nice design, looks good, plenty of hard drive slots.

Cons: This case is just too narrow. The SATA data and power plugs would hit the back cover if I put the cover on so I have to leave it off. Not enough room either for any cable routing in the back, again too narrow. The case being narrow is really my only drawback. A complete waste of time to have any fan filters since I have to leave the cover off.

Other Thoughts: Could be worse I guess. At least it works. Was packaged well but then again I have never received a tower that didn't use Styrofoam.

4 out of 5 eggsSleek / spacious

Pros: Very sleek looking. Spacious for any graphics. 6 fans (2 top, 2 front, 1 rear, 1 bottom) 8 USB ports. Decent cable organization. Adjustable fan speed knobs. Front Mesh panel. Removable filters. Good venting. Large window. 3 ROM slots

Cons: Can't change front fans without taking apart top panel and ripping the front panel off. Riveted hard drive casing. Did not come with 3.0 USB adapter.

Other Thoughts: This would be a perfect case if the fronts fans were easily accessible and hard drive casing had removable sections for more space and venting.

4 out of 5 eggsWell made

Pros: Lots of space for expansion
Good airflow
Great cable-managing room
Sleek look
High build quality
Removable fan filters
Fans are quiet for stock case fans and move a good amount of air

Cons: The top fan mounts are flimsy and would deffinately not support a thick radiator for watercooling.
Not a fan of smoked glass side panels.

Pros: Looks cool, has good compartments for your memory and optics drives

Cons: Had to cut some of the back to get my video card to fit. This thing is stupid

5 out of 5 eggsCouldn't be happier

Pros: Awesome look! The 2 front fans are SUPER QUIET, not overly bright but still looks great. Huge side window! The hard drive trays are removable. There's an external hard drive connection bay directly at the top
The mesh front plating is pretty sweet looking and fairly sturdy. Cable organization is in my opinion is just fine, all I did was rout the cables behind the solid side plate. My motherboard is smaller so my SATA cables couldn't reach my hard drive and dvd player so I could recommend ordering foot long cables iF you have a small motherboard. Plenty of space! And access to the 2 top fans couldn't be any simpler with a removable top case. Tremendous air flow for my GTX 770 card. There's to adjustable knobs to control fan speed and LED brightness for front and top fans. ITS A STEAL OF A BUY FOR $69

Cons: Unfortunately, though the frame feels sturdy, it is still plastic so handle with care. The hard drive trays are plastic and if not careful, you can snap the attach fittings. The #1 killer is the front dust putting that back in! There's got to be a science to it cause it sucks with the friction tabs on it always catching on something.

Other Thoughts: This is my first build...*NOTE* this tower didn't come with instructions for the wires so you need to know a little about what you're doing or at least have someone who has average knowledge to help. Even though its my first I had very little resistance and put it together in 4-5 hrs. **Attached 3:30mins Video** so you can get the full view and help your decision

4 out of 5 eggsmore than i could ever wish for

Pros: Case is VERY large. You practically fit everything in there.
Has a nice/cool looking design.
Fan controller.
Lots of space.
Lots of places to put your fans for more ventilation
easy removable filters for easy cleaning

Cons: Hassle to take off the front of the case because you have to open both sides of the case and furthermore you need to unscrew some screws to open it up. Got kinda confused how to install fans on the top.

3 out of 5 eggsGood with a few flaws

Pros: Looks nice. Blue LED fans and a nice mesh covering on the front.
Roomy, lots of space inside. Being able to hide the wires behind a piece of metal inside the case is a great feature.

Cons: Top removable piece of plastic was slightly broken on arrival.

Interior dust filter on the front is nigh impossible to put back into place upon removal without removing the entire faceplate as a result of a slight bend in it that causes it to jam against guiding plastic tabs on the interior of the case.

One of the front 2 case fans blew after less than 1 month of use. The plastic that made up the central circle that held the blades in place had split.

Other Thoughts: Decent case, good price with rebate, but not top-quality build or craftsmanship.
