5 out of 5 eggsMy all-time favorite computer case.

Pros: I originally found a review of this case on an Australian web site that had dozens of detailed photos. The case was made by Cooler Master and I later found it was not sold in the USA. A dealer in Canada told me about the ABS version and that it too was made by Cooler Master. I was fortunate to find that Newegg carried this item. I built my first custom made computer with this case and fell in love with its style and construction quality. The removable motherboard tray is the most handy feature. The internal parts are heavy gauge aluminum and the front door is aluminum plate almost a quarter inch thick. The case has several convenient features that I quite enjoy. The power-on button is located on the top so the door doesn't have to be opened to push it and the door itself is hinged on the right. Most computer cases have the door hinged on the left but I have always located my computer to the right side of the monitor (because I'm right-handed) and a left side hinge is not convenient.

Cons: None whatsoever.

Other Thoughts: Six months ago I built another computer, this time for my daughter and I purchased another case for her. She loves it. I hope Newegg keeps this item available for a long time. I look forward to using it for another build when my wife's store bought pc bites the dust.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Case

Pros: Very clean sturdy case with plenty of quiet fans. This thing is alot quieter than my last case. It also has plenty of room behind the mobo tray for hiding your unused power supply wires, which makes for a very clean look inside. I'm not a big fan of cases with front doors but I must say I like this one. The door and bezel is made of 5 aluminum extrusions that are very rugged with good styling.

Cons: I had to grind some of the Power supply bracket out of the way of the wires but that was easy enough. The side panels are a bit too thin in my opinion but then again it's not like I'm taking it on the road. I also wish they would have included an air filter for the side air duct, although I will make one myself for it.

Other Thoughts: I bought this case because of the lack of all that flashy neon lights and stuff. I am not dissappointed and will try some other ABS products as well.

5 out of 5 eggsSexier then I am

Pros: All Aluminum (Frame, sides, and Door). Lowered my cpu temp by 9 degrees Cel. Removable motherboard tray makes it easier to assemble and clean when needed. Cover for power supply so I can take the power supply out of the back instead of trying to sneak it past my heatsink and fan.

Cons: Fans were too loud for my taste so I am replacing them.

Other Thoughts: It was up between this case and the Thermaltake Matrix. I am really glad I went with this case. My first thought when I got this case out of the box is the title of this review.

4 out of 5 eggsmass production average quality control

Pros: Very good case given average quality control. Engineering is thoughtful and somewhat advanced. Easily accessed, R&R mobo tray, room for cable routing no problema, filter for 120mm fan, good placement of USB and Audio frntpanel, good placement of on/off/reset buttons. Very sturdy frame, top and bottom panel, legs, & door. Side skin lightweignt is a plus. Back panel generous and easily adapted to custom config guts of the machine.

Cons: Engineering is not field tested and quality control is average compared to Lian Li. Button on mine is very prone to binding with its side-wall. This is a problem as it will cause Power Supply to cycle on off. Cost me my first power supply when I initially built current machine. Using some silicone lube and repeated friction partially repaired this machining error. Configuration of CPU case side fan tunnel is lacking had to be disposed of in my build.. no room for cooling (air only for me). Massive internal side wall for 5.25 gives strength but is primitive in its design. The case looses 1 point for this and other hassles.

Other Thoughts: Overall very adequate. I do not overclock so cannot comment on noise in a manner that would be useful for readers. Most serious flaw for me is power button as it cost me $125+ when is stuck in my initial build; cycling on off so fast that had no time to diagnose before internal circuit of PSU fried. No biggie but field testing and systematic QC shoulda caught this leading to a slight revision in machining tolerances. I like the case and would buy again . . . But not a lian li. Purchased for newegg . . . eggscellent and eleggant shipping service and cost as always!!!!!!!

5 out of 5 eggsStealth

Pros: I researched cases for over a month trying to find a good looking, high quality case that wouldn't cost me a bunch. I loved the Fatality but settled on this one instead dur to price. It turned out to be a great case. All ALU, great cooling (namebrand fans), removeable tray, strong hinges. I love this case and it looks great.

Cons: Some sharp edges! Watch your hands. The black anodizing seems a little thin.

Other Thoughts: DS3 W/E4300 OC to 3Ghz and a 120mm CPU fan. The previous review was correct in that the side panel will not fit with the intake funnel that is attached to it. And the cover screen attaches to the funnel. Instead of having a big hole, I dremeled down the funnel until my fan cleared and put it all back together. Worked out great and looks clean. The funnel now sits just above my fan aiding the original intended design which is to pull fresh/cooler outside air onto the CPU.

5 out of 5 eggsWon't Go Back

Pros: What can I say? Other then I won't go back to any other case. I've used this case in several custom builds and I'm hooked!
Well made, solid, good looks, great ventilation, easy to access power button and external ports and the most important feature, Quiet.

Buy one of these and you will never regret it.

Cons: None at all!

Other Thoughts: Motherboard tray makes mounting components a breeze. Full access on both sides of case to screw slots for drives.

Last custom build consisted of this case with it's fans, cpu fan, 2- 8800 video card fans and the power supply fan. The system was whisper quiet.

Going to buy another one of these for my own custom build!

Other Thoughts: i am very happy with it. fyi: the case door opens from left to right & is built very well.

2 out of 5 eggsPretty on the outside ....

Pros: Excellent exterior, nice placement of fans. Door hides most of the Blue LED if you are placing it in a room where you might want to sleep. Removable motherboard tray makes building a snap. Newegg as always provided excellent service

Cons: This thing was measured wrong. When you need 2 people to help you spread the 3.5" cages to fit in your HDDs, come on. If you are using an after market cooler you will be left with a nice little hole as you cannot attach the mesh without the CPU duct on. Mine did not come with screws and had to pay for overnighting. All in all a pain to work with.

Other Thoughts: If ABS builds their custom systems as badly as they build this case I think they will not be in business much longer.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat case

Pros: If you are thinking about buying this case.. Buy it you won't be disappointed. Build quality is great and it's extreemly quiet even with the 7 fans I have inside it. It's on my desk right now and I barely hear it.

Cons: Ok 3 cons with it so I took away 1 star.
1# Power supply is a tuff fit get a modular cable power supply. Top case fan gets inb the way of some of the plugs.

#2) drives mount right to trhe chasis would be nice to have quick release rails. )price is cheap so I can't really complain, just figured I'd say it)

#3) the front USB/mic/spk panel is wired bad. both USB's are seprate so they take up 2 spots on the mobo. (could have used 1) Then to make it worse, the spk/mic wires are wired with one of the USB's. Dunno what they were thinking. Why not mae a dual USB and havbe the mic/speakerr wires seprate? Because of my mobo set up I have to pick between the USB or the spk/mic if I use stock set up.

It's nothing major I can easily just rewire it with on of the extra USB set ups from my mobo. Just pretty dumb of them to do.

Other Thoughts: Overal it's a great case and I would buy again. I'm very impressed with the build quality for the price.

Gigibyte P35-DQ6, EVGA 8800 GTS (fits fine) Q6600, 2 gigs Crucial Ballistix Tracer, Thermaltake W0106RU 700w power supply (N82E16817153039)

5 out of 5 eggsThe Egg Shipped this on a Sunday.

Pros: This case is beautiful. The front door is full aluminum and even has a magnet to hold it shut. The side duct is perfect for a 120mm fan. Nice paint job.

Cons: The whole case isnt made of aluminum (at least I don't think so.) It feels like it is plastic or something. Size may be an issue for this case.

Other Thoughts: According to UPS tracking, Newegg shipped this on a Sunday. That is dedication.
