You want air flow? You got it with the Monolith from ABS. Just make sure that children and small animals are kept away from the case when the system is powered on. It has 2x250mm side fans to cycle air through the case so efficiently that everything stays cool with no problems. Vents at the tops of the side panels improve circulation.
Once you get the mobo in you can put down your tools since the rest of the components go in without tools. The 7 expansion slots have a locking clip to hold everything in its place. The drive bays, both internal and external use a locking rail system to keep things in place and minimize vibrations.
This case is ready to handle a powerful system and powerful systems need large PSUs. ABS leaves the choice up to you so you can get a unit that fits your needs. Since there is a support bracket that is attached to the drive cage you can go ahead and install an oversized unit with no worries.

It LOOKS good..
- Pros: It's a sturdy case, I'll give it that. I'm sure it could take a beating if it ever needed to. Feature wise, it's not a bad case. Has a little light-up logo on the front door which I never used. Neat idea though. Front panel LEDs are really neat. They're embedded in the door.
- Cons: I bought it for the dual 250mm fans on the side, and they are absolutely horrible. I'm running a 3way SLI in it and I figured these monster fans would help push the heat out. I was wrong. Playing Crysis for more than 30 minutes with 3 8800GTX cards gave me artifacts. I know for a fact that it was the lack of cooling because I could minimize to windows and come back to it later, only to get artifacts in as little as 15 minutes of playing. The computer is in a room that is 75 degrees, so it isn't too bad. The cards pushed 95C, and my CPU reached 65C at times.
- Other Thoughts: My overheated system in this case:
Intel Q6600@3.2 w/ Thermaltake V1, 4GB OCZ DDR2 800, WD Raptor 150, WD 160GB, 3x Nvidia 8800GTX, eVGA 780i SLI, Thermaltake Toughpower 1200W, BR/HD/DVD RAM
I've purchased a CM Stacker 830 as a replacement - lets hope it does better.

Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued Customer, This case is one of the best on the market because of the 2 fans which provide sufficient amount of air flow. There could be a couple of possibilities that are causing this issue. This could be caused by unstable drivers, unstable game (glitches), or unstable (bad) video card(s). Also the 8800GTX do run hotter than previous cards, around 75C idle temperature. Plus you are running 3-way SLI which the video cards don't have much space in between each other. As for the CPU, you have overclocked the CPU from 2.4GHz to 3.2GHz which will make the CPU run hotter than normal. We are sorry for the inconvenience and if you have any problems please give us a call at 800-685-3471. Thanks, ABS Customer Care
Great Case!
- Pros: Very large case! 8800GTX fits with inches to spare. Two large fans on the side, one blowing on the GPU/CPU and the other blowing on the HDD cage/GPU. Lots of expansion room for extra fans. There is room for a 120mm fan in the front and back. I also added a 120mm fan on the top air vent above the powersupply to blow air out. There are six side vents opposite of the two large fans measuring about 1X2 inches. I added 80mm fans blowing air out on the upper set of three vents. Tool-less construction takes a minute to figure out but works out pretty well in the end. Case shipped with no damage and everything working perfectly. Shipping time was two days.
Running a quad core with 8800GTX my temps have dropped by a descent amount after adding exhaust fans.
Lots of room for larger video cards and cpu heatsinks. Great cable management.
Very strudy and well-built. I was up and running with no problems after about an hour of set up time.
- Cons: The large side fans are fairly weak. I was expecting them to suck in much more air than they actually do. My temps didn't drop by the expected amount with just one exhaust fan and the two large intake fans. After drilling some holes and adding a upper exhust fan and side exhaust fans I finally lowed my temps to the desired level.
- Other Thoughts: Overall, very pleased with the case. Pricing was fair and shipping was fast. Lots of room to get creative with extra fans. Just remember you'll need to invest in cable extensions for the fan because the case is so large.
I expect this case to last years even after several component upgrades.

Great case AMAZING price!
- Pros: Very low price! I got it when it was $69.99/Free shipping
It's huge, I can easily run a GTX 260 SLI setup and it has so much space for optical/hard drives Tough case, it doesn't feel cheaply made to me and it has some nice LED's with buttons to turn them off if they bother Keeps everything inside very cool with the huge fans
- Cons: None really, I'm very happy with the case
- Other Thoughts: This is really a deal, if you want something a little fancier looking than you may be out of luck. But for me, I needed it to be very spacious inside and very functional, and honestly you will NOT find many Full tower cases at such a low price so buy this if you need one.
love it
- Pros: this case is super cool. droped my temps 10c . so much better. big. lots of room. screwless. nice blue lights.
- Cons: none. does not come with a 120 fan.
- Other Thoughts: i bought 2 120 fans and installed a 80 on the top of the case.
Much bigger than expected.
- Pros: Case is huge and the fans are equally as big. Case moves a lot of air and has plenty of space for large coolers, cards and multiple drives.
Looks quite sleek and the led glow isn't overly obtrusive.
- Cons: Mounting brackets are cheap and flimsy as are the front bay shields. They were scattered around inside the front panel when I opened the box. Accidentally broke one trying to get it in place since they are tension retained. They have a clip protrusion but nowhere for it to actually clip to.
- Other Thoughts: This thing is large/stylish and at $69.99 with free shipping you can't go wrong.
