The La Vie from Sigma adds a dash of style to your desktop with the engraved front door and linear design. The voluminous interior has plenty of room for mobos up to 10.5"x12.5" and 7 slide lock tool-less expansion slots at the back give you plenty of room for multiple video cards and other add-ons. There is a 500W power supply to get you up and running faster.

The 10 drive bays give you ample space for drives and front mounted controls. There are 3 internal 3.5" bays, 2 external 3.5" bays and 5 external 5.25" bays. All of the bays have click-lock technology so you don't have to mess with screws. Fully loading all those bays could lead to heat issues but Sigma has thought of that with vent holes at the front and rear of the case that are assisted by an 80mm side fan and a 120mm rear fan that can be easily removed to make system setup easier.

The front of the case by the internal bays has mounting holes for another fan to keep your drives cool. Also behind the door are 2 audio jacks and 2 USB ports. That lets you plug in your headset without having to reach around back and unplug your speakers.

  • newegg Transparent Side Panel Window The Sigma La Vie ABWBP's fantastic transparent side panel window provides a direct view of the inner system. The blue fan LEDs add stylishness and eye-catching fun.
  • newegg Superior Expandability with 10 Drive Bays Featuring five 5.25" external drive bays, and five 3.5" drive bays (two external and three internal), the Sigma La Vie ABWBP provides superior expandability.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: good air flow, with the added 120mm fan in the front. looks good. lots of room. good price.

Cons: flimsy, front sound port doesnt reach my board. very flimsy, front door doesnt close on both magnets. did i say flimsy? my case came bent up and dented.

Other Thoughts: if this is a case you’re going to be taking places I don’t recommend it. but most computers dont move.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case -Highly Recommend!

Pros: Lots of space, good airflow, nice power supply, not that expensive, pretty sturdy, really really sharp looking... very impressive... if you are trying to sell a computer this case seals the deal... it is awesome!

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: The first case came just destroyed from UPS, crushed and the whole frame was twisted. BUT!! NewEgg was AMAZING with the RMA process... 5 minutes and i had an RMA and shipping label. There were issues with UPS shipping time.. so canceled the replacement ordered the same case and NewEgg refunded shipping and upgraded to 3 day Priority... NEWEGG is the BEST!!!

3 out of 5 eggsFunctional but flimsy

Pros: Great price, flashy appearance, works well. This was an easy case to use, everything was included to get a system up fast. The power supply seems to work just fine.

Cons: If I made a case out of beer cans it might be a little sturdier than this. Moving the case causes the entire case to bend and flex. It's simple to bend it back into shape. For that matter, if you really wanted to you could probably bend it into any shape you wanted.

Other Thoughts: I gave this three stars because I got what I paid for and the case is pleasant to look at. If you need a flashy case for someone who will put it somewhere semi-permanent, this will work fine. If you need to move tha case much at all, it will deform to the point the side panel will have trouble and you will need to bend it back into it's original shape.

4 out of 5 eggsNice case for the $$$

Pros: Looks cool! Easy to mount all devices... A lot of drive bays.

Cons: Power supply does not have the 8 PORT 12V power out for newer boards. Needs to sit on something when on carpet to open the front cover... it sits pretty low. Kind of average.. in general.

Other Thoughts: Good mid level case. For the money, I got what I should have expected.. bought 2 and they are working fine. Would consider ordering an 8 port power adapter if you have one of the newer boards (quad core support) going in this case.

1 out of 5 eggsAbsolutely horrible!!

Pros: cool looking, screwless case

Cons: the power supply fan doesn't work. I didn't notice at very beginning but soon I smell something "cooked". Fortunately I powered it off immediately and there's no damage to the other expensive hardware. After I took out the power supply, it was so obvious the fan is not mounted firmly.

Other Thoughts: I am contacting the customer service for RMA. And I will keep update on this till it is solved

3 out of 5 eggsCable Length Problem

Pros: Tooless
Blue LED
Decent PSU
Shell Shocker Deal

Cons: Cheap Metal
Door Gets In The Way
Short Front Audio Port Cable (see Other thoughs)

Other Thoughts: The Front Port USB Cables bearly reached my Motherboards Onboard USB Pins. I had to cut a hole in the metal directly behind the Front Port Cables in order to get the Front Audio Port Cable to reach my Onboard Audio Pins.

1 out of 5 eggsLOOK ELSEWHERE

Pros: Pictures don't do it justice. Ok, it's a case w/power supply. it is so cheap of a build. Blanks fall out, metal is thin enough to bend with your fingers, like a beer can. poor paint job. JUST A POOR EXCUSE FOR A CASE.

Cons: very much so

Other Thoughts: newegg needs to have a closer look at what they are selling

4 out of 5 eggsWorks Well

Pros: Case works well and has everything that is needed to build a mid level computer. Fans are quiet and the power supply is more that capable for the Core2 and drives

Cons: One case came with a power supply that had a bad fan and the PS overheated due to that failure. I have contacted Sigma and I am awaiting a call back
