Other Thoughts: These cases keep going out of stock, I hope Gigabyte keeps making this case because I don't want to have to stock up on them now for future builds. Do not discontinue this case!

Pros: Elegant and simple looking. Sturdy. Lots of ventilation (front and back fans, and side air vents).

Cons: Front audio jack is always distorted - I tried using the ferrite ring with no improvement. PCI slots on back are a bit confusing at first, I managed to break some of the clips before figuring it out.

Pros: I purchased this case 2 1/2 years ago. This is hands down the best case i have ever owned. Been building computers since 1997. Recently ordered new parts for a rebuild and will continue to use this case. Just replacing the power supply with a more powerful one. I love the screwless option. It is so simple and easy to work on.

Cons: I have nothing bad to say about this case. However since i purchased it newegg has raised the price on it by $15. This is still an awesome case for the money.

Other Thoughts: If your looking for one case to buy this is it.

Pros: Solid, durable construction and tool-less drive mounting. Plenty of available drive slots.

Cons: Poor fan cabling. Both internal fans are cabled to a Y-adapter making it impossible to connect front and back fan separately to a motherboard that will support more than one without replacing the cabling. Y-Cable only lets you monitor speed of the rear fan.

Slightly deeper front-to back than other cases.

Pros: Well built and nicely finished. Side panels remove and install easily.

Cons: Cable for connection of front panel audio to motherboard is too short. With a little work the cable can be rerouted through the other side of the case but would prefer that its length match those of the USB and Firewire cables.

Other Thoughts: Would prefer more 3.5 inch internal drive bays and fewer 5.25 inch external drive bays but I'll be able to make it work.

Pros: Two thumbscrews each to release the sides, also used thumbscrews for PSU. Able to fit a Sapphire AMD 6950 into it with care. Have run up to 5 HDD's just fine, has decent ventilation though not great. Rounded edges and outward facing drive-bays make this an easy to use case.

Cons: Front fan is hard to maintenance. Wish it came with more rail brackets for HDDs.

Other Thoughts: Has been a rock solid choice over many HDDs and a transition into SSDs. Has also managed well first with dual 4890s, then a 5850, a 6870 and most lately a 6950. Front USB ports have always worked great.

Pros: Nice mid tower.
Everything fits fine, including Zalman 9900A CPU cooler.
Very quiet. Case fans are barely audible.

Cons: Bright blue LED on front.

Other Thoughts: Two thumbscrews to open and close case. Very easy. Case is very sturdy and does not easily flex. Plenty of room. If you need a good case at a reasonable price, look no further. Owned for 7 months. Very happy.

Pros: Was a very solid case, and lasted through the entire life of the computer without any problems. A good and worthy buy for a regular computer, nothing too hot.

Cons: Wish there were more air flow, but it was enough for what I used it for.

Pros: Looks very nice. Nice organization.

Cons: The rear thumb screws are a little hard to screw in because they don't line up just right, but it's not too bad.

It should have come with the ferrite ring installed, or provided decent instructions on what to do with it.

Other Thoughts: If you're not really into cheesy LEDs and styling that makes your computer look like it's from a bad sci-fi movie, then this case might be for you. It's a simple and solid design that looks great.

It includes a ferrite ring (called a "magnet ring" in the manual), but the instructions don't say what to do with it. I'm a computer engineer, so allow me to explain. You're supposed to pass the twisted front panel wires (LEDs, audio, buttons, etc., not the heavy shielded USB/Firewire cables) through the ring and loop them around and through the ring again. The ring should be installed close to the front of the case. I clipped the cable tie to allow me to install it closer to the front. When installed, the ring creates a low-pass filter that helps keep unwanted high-frequency noise from getting out on the wires. It's one of these things that may not make a difference for you, but if you don't install it then you might have weird problems, like a nearby electronic device malfunctioning.

Pros: The builder will appreciate the little touches inside that make this case such a pleasure to work with. You will need to use far fewer screws than usual, as provided rails are so easy to use, and allow easy access to drives. Add on cards install firmly with a convenient snap. The fan cables, front and back, merge into a single system fan plug.

Layout is perfect. Nothing is missing. One great case.

Cons: More 5 1/4 front slots than needed, and only three 3.5' drive slots inside. The reverse might be better if you need lots of hard drives. But with the huge drives available now, who cares.

Other Thoughts: Yes, one of the LEDs is too bright, lol. Wish this case was not out of stock right now.
