Sometimes, even in a world of ever smaller components, size does matter. If your workhorse computer needs to be a Clydesdale, then one of those Shetland pony mid-sized towers just won't do, and Gigabyte knows that.

Five fans (three 120mm fans and two 80mm fans for the hard drives) help keep it cool, as do the interchangeable transparent acrylic/steel mesh ventilation side panels. And everything is designed to make assembly faster and easier for your technical staff (or you, if you build your own): one-touch lockable latch on the detachable side panel, tool-less device assembly, seven tool-less expansion slots, even the hard drive bays offer two different positions. Compatible with ATX and microATX motherboards, with front-panel ports located in the middle of the panel, and plenty of drive space.

Got some heavy-duty work ahead of you? Then maybe this heavy-duty workhorse is what you need. Check it out for yourself!

  • newegg Excellent Expandability with 11 Drive Bays Featuring five 5.25" external drive bays, and six 3.5" drive bays (one external and five internal), the Gigabyte GZ-FA2CA-AJB provides excellent expandability.

5 out of 5 eggsBig, Cool, and Quiet

Pros: Got this case last Friday. Built my new Core i7 system in it. Plenty of room!! Enough Space for anything you want to put in this case. Built solid, and very good labeling on front panel wiring. Case Quality is good and the cooling fans are VERY quiet. My equipment stays cool (CPU idles at 28 degrees celcius) with stock fans. I don't use water cooling and with the temps I'm maintaining, I don't plan on upgrading to water cooling anytime soon, unless of course I get into some serious overclocking. I would definately buy this case again if in the market for another.

Cons: None, unless you just don't like full-tower cases.

Other Thoughts: Shipping was a bit steep. I ordered all my new system components along with this case on March 7th. I've always received my items from Newegg within 3 days at most, but this time It took 4 days (March 11) to receive the box with all my computer components, and then the case finally arrived the next day (March 12). Needless to say, I was very disappointed that my '3 day select' shipping took 5 days to get to me. I sat with all my computer build parts in my lap, while I waited another 24 hours for my case to get here. While this issue is more the fault of UPS, i am disgusted that I paid for 3 day shipping and waited 5 days. Again, the delay was not the fault of Newegg.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Entry Full tower.

Pros: Nice full tower for the price.
Comes with alot of extra thumb screws, mounting screws, wire ties, etc...
2 holes for water cooling hoses at the back of the case to go to an external radiator.
The entry level water cooler: Corsair H-50 radiator could mount nicely (inside the case) where one of the 2 120 mm fans are.

Cons: Super bright blue LEDS, I can't stand them when I try to sleep. However, that's my opinion and I knew the case had them when I purchased it. I'll change them all to red if I ever get around to it.

Other Thoughts: Even though I hate Blue LEDS it matches nicely with my blue sapphire 5770, blue ga-790fxta-ud5 mobo, and Corsair XMS ram.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Case Ever

Pros: *Lots of room inside.
*Very quiet.
*Exactly what I expected.
*Will be very easy to add a water system to this case.

Cons: *Front drive bays are a little troublesome to pop out. Make sure you pick the right location first try.

Other Thoughts: *Hope you like a really bright case. This thing lights up my whole room. Can be problematic if you sleep in the same room.
*Easy fix is to spend an extra few dollars and get some normal fans instead of the LED fans.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Case

Pros: Self Locking 5.25" and 3.5" bays are nice...no screws req'd. HDDs can be mounted to face the side or read of case. Very good cooling. Ambient temps at or below 42C on a heavily OCed Quad Core, 6 HDDs.

Cons: Had a hard time using the factory installed latch that locks all the cards in place with my massive video cards...not a big deal though cause you can use the supplied screws instead.

Other Thoughts: Its a full tower, it's big. lots of room for running wires.

Pros: has almost all the features id like in a case
dual 120 fans in rear alows for exterior mounting of a radiator and has grometed holes for water line leading to a pump ,cpu and gpu cooler inside the case which is how i set mine up

Cons: would have liked 120 mm fans at hard drive side mounts insted of 80mm which i came with
and would like air intake at gpu and memery area

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case for the Money

Pros: this is my first full tower case. i upgraded from an antec 300 and this thing absolutely dwarfs the antec. plenty of room to work with if you have a long graphics card. the brushed steel finish looks great. the door latch is a nice touch too. i didnt even put the thumb screws back in since the latch hold it shut just fine by itself. comes with the black mesh steel or the clear plastic side panels. i stuck with the black mesh because the clear lets too much light out. the hard drive cage is nice since you can put it in two different ways. the chrome finish on the inside looks good too. the two small fans on the right side for hdd cooling seem to help keep hdd temps down. overall, a great full tower case for under $150. would definitely buy this case again

Cons: non removable motherboard tray. no holes for running cables. lack of fan options(see other thoughts)

Other Thoughts: you can only have 3(1 intake, 2 exhaust) fans at the most on this case. on my antec i had 5(3 intake, 2 exhaust). there are two small fans on the right side of the case by the hdd cage for hdd cooling but they dont move enough air to circulate air to anywhere else in the case. as a result my graphics card seems to run a little hotter than in my antec 300. i also wish there were more more options for fans. i prefer to have positive air pressure than negative and with how the fans come installed you get negative air pressure. so i plan on cutting out a hole on the bottom of the case for another fan since the case sits up somewhat high because of the adjustable feet. not

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case, awesome quality, very very nice.

Pros: Very excellent case. Made of the highest quality. I have used a lot of cases before but never one this nice. Exelent tooless design and assembly, great air flow while being extreemly quiet, very sexy case while maintaining very good use-ability/function.

Cons: Some may say price, but you get what you pay for.

Other Thoughts: Great case.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case!

Pros: It is quite sturdy and glows beautifully at night. There's also plenty of room for all my stuff and for more goodies. The 5 fans keep everything cool, and quiet. The brushed aluminum is more scratch resistent than my previous case. Would deffinately keep this case for all future builds!

Cons: A few solvable problems. The locking mechanism for expansion cards gets stuck, and becomes unmovable. I unscrewed it and put some of the screws that came in the box on my cards. The case sometimes rattles when you have an older drive in the 3.5 underneath the external 3.5. Removing it and puting it back in solved that problem. Lastly the orientation of the case puts larger PCIE graphics cards upside down, I don't mind but I can't see the cool decals on my card. =(

Other Thoughts: If you have the screen on the side panel, putting the accrylic on makes the case much quieter. I also use the big box to keep all my build's smaller boxes in, nice box for storage.

3 out of 5 eggsNo Gigabyte Support

Pros: Great design, very roomy, Keeps everthing cool! Exceptionly well built. I like the case very much. Problem is the lack of support. I would rate it a 5 egg - with some support.

Cons: No issues for 10 months - then the on/off power switch built onto a circuit board begin to malfunction. After checking it out I contacted Gigabyte customer services. They had me forward the invoice and then promised a replacement circuit board. Never got it. Then they just stopped answering my e-mails.
I even offered to purchase one - no responce from customer service.
