Solid build, classic design, and with a host of features; the GIGABYTE GZ-X7 is a mainstream mid-tower case that's great for your home or office PC build. The minimalist exterior is coated with a matte black finish that is accented by dark red trim. The tool-less mechanism saves time and effort when installing or removing drives. Cooling is also taken into serious consideration as it integrates a dual 120mm fan and comes with a ventilated side panel. An I/O panel is located on the front for easy access.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: Great case, quality hardware. Like everyone else, the drive ez-install clips don't fit anything I own, so they went straight to the trash. Way more bays than you'll ever need!

This is an incredible bargain and highly recommended.

Cons: The ez-installer clip for the PCI slots has tabs on all of the slots that are bent downward. This interfered with my video card. I could have just used screws instead since it's ez to remove, but I just cut the clips off instead so I could still use the ez-installer.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case!

Pros: This case is sturdy, comes with two fans, component installation is pretty easy, and it looks pretty nice. I haven't had any overheating issues with an intel 4770k and Radeon HD 7870 both cooking. And the price is right!

Cons: There weren't any drive bays small enough for my SSD drive, but I hear there are other ways around this problem. I just fastened mine to the bottom of the drive bays in front of the fan. Also, it doesn't come with screws if the user opts for screwing in their components instead of using tool free installation.

Other Thoughts: The side panels are fine, don't let complainers tell you they're too flimsy. There aren't any really sharp edges, but you can still cut yourself on this case (I cut my finger badly while removing a front panel). I'm not listing this as a con because it's a no brainer that a metal case can cut you, and if it does, the cause is user error.

All in all, I am very happy with this case and I would happily buy another!

5 out of 5 eggsNice & Cheap •-•

Pros: -Cheap
-Good Quality
-Plenty of Room
-2 Fans w/ Side Air Vent

Cons: -None Yet

Other Thoughts: Box says that the case only comes with one fan but actually has 2 doesn't matter if you check newegg's specs of the case first ;D

5 out of 5 eggsAwsome Case

Pros: Plenty off room. Nice sleek classic clean layout. 2x 120mm fans for superb cooling. Easy access for setting up any system. Came with all the hardware you need to mount a good board.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Thumb screws for the case screws rock! The plastic "tool-less" holders work well although I am finicky and removed them and just used standard screws, set in my ways.. lol all in all I say this case is very nice!

5 out of 5 eggsWhy wait

Pros: This is a simple, beautiful case which keeps two of my systems cool enough and is stunningly quiet. I absolutely love it and the only question I have for myself is "Why did I wait so long to get it?" I really like that it's solid and the new system how the drives are being held in place.

Cons: I didn't get it earlier. :-(

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Looks sleek on the outside.
Plenty of room for HDD's and other Drives.
Surprisingly the tool-less design works pretty well.
The price!

Cons: Airflow may not be sufficient if you are running dual graphics and a large power supply.

Other Thoughts: The side air duct is a good feature if you are installing an upward facing fan heat sink combo, like the ones usually included with processors.

4 out of 5 eggsgood not perfect

Pros: Spacious, HD Audio, 2 x 120mm fans that are super quiet, love the super luminous blue hard disk led

Cons: the hd rack is not to industry standards, made in china, had to physically manipulate the mounts for the drive bays so the screw holes would line up right

Other Thoughts: All in all, if you want a pretty decent case and are willing (and Knowledgeable) / patient, get it.

4 out of 5 eggsnice case

Pros: looks great, plenty of room inside, well built, no rough edges

Cons: not really a con, but could not use the cpu fan ducting with the huge cooler I put on it.

Other Thoughts: I probably will buy another soon - I feel the itch to build something else. As usual, Newegg shipping is unreal fast.

4 out of 5 eggsGood, basic case

Pros: Plenty of room for anything you may need. It also is not completely "ricered out" with LEDs. This worked perfectly with my first build.

Cons: The only issues I see are very minor. For one, the Hard Drive activity light is extremely bright, as other reviewers have mentioned. The bright blue can easily illuminate my basement with the other lights off.

Secondly, the clips that secure the hard drives and disk drives seem a little cheap, not to mention partially difficult to install, especially when one has to reach behind the HDD bay to secure the other side of the drive.

Lastly, the bay covers are removable only, meaning if you decide to remove a disc drive, you cannot replace the metal cover there; the same is true with PCI and expansion card slots.

Other Thoughts: Don't let my overly long Cons section turn you off from this case. Works great. How many pros can you really put on a simple computer case?

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice

Pros: Very roomy, plenty additional screws comes with 9 metal motherboard standoffs. HDDs and optical disks are easy to install thanks to the clips.

Cons: No reset switch. Not a huge deal, just means pressing the power button twice instead.

The black spacers on the front that fill empty 5.25" bays are extremely easy to pop out, to the point where it gets frustrating. You'll grab the case and try to lift it up and end up popping out 2-3 of them.

Other Thoughts: Not a bad looking case.
