4 out of 5 eggsNice Tower

Pros: The tower is beautiful and very easy to work with. I love the top mounted USB's and audio jacks. I like how all 3 fans work off of a single chanel plug, and they are very quiet. It comes with everything to make the wiring nice and organized. I was very impressed overall.

Cons: The tower came with a removable HD, but it doesn't work at all. Not in the removable SATA storage slot nor by USB. I bought this tower on super sale and I love everything else about it so I wont bother to return it for that. Also there are no USB 3.0, but for me that is not a big deal.

Other Thoughts: This was a build for my wife, who doesnt need the included HD or USB 3.0.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat case for the money

Pros: great case i bought 2 for me and my wife and it even comes with an external hard drive enclosure. i should of got a few more just to have.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: only one thing is if you run a 7950 vid card it is a tight fit but it will fit.

5 out of 5 eggsNice case!

Pros: What can I say but the price is right! Plenty of room and a added docking station of a HDD drive. If you are building a gamming system this has plnety of room for fans and airflow with ports to allow for liquid cooling hoses. Ease of access and nice system for hard drives and optical drives.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Not really a con but all front access ports for USB, head phones etc are located on the flat top which limits placing the case under a table etc. Just wanted someone to be aware if there are room or placment considerations.

3 out of 5 eggsEhh was cheap

Pros: Was cheepest Full Tower Case i've seen in awhile

Cons: Doesn't fit a 10" card unless you trim some of the metal that sticks between motherboard and back of computer. Got a Gtx570 in and a 660ti but it was very tight. Not a lot of room for cable management

Other Thoughts: Improve placement of wire clip because it interferes with putting a Graphics card it top slot.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat looking with limitations

Pros: Great looking, top mounted PS, nice quality, extras such as removable external drive case.

Cons: No HD LED, no reset button, air flow could be better, heavy, lack of cable management, too narrow.

Other Thoughts: My rating is actually 3.5 stars. This case is not a true full tower. Height wise, it is same as my Antec 300 which places it in the category of mid tower or super mid tower. As other reviewers have noted, the case is too narrow and not deep enough. Gigabyte could have easily built a much better case by making it 1 inch wider for concealing cables. Also, because of the drive cage, those with full atx mobos and long video cards may have issues. I used a dremel tool, cut off the rivets securing the drive cage and removed it. With the extra space, the intake fan can pull air in unrestricted and my GTX 680 fits just fine. For $59.99, this was a fantastic buy. I don't need the extra drive cages so it worked out fine for me. I do however wish Gigabyte had put a blowhole on top.

3 out of 5 eggsNice case

Pros: Solid case, great accessories.....but.
Comes with vented side and acrylic panel to see your monster.
Aluminum front panels are very good "feeling".

Cons: Motherboards are still a bit of a tight fit.
No 2.5 adapters or bays for SSD's
If your SATA ports face the front you need to get smaller cables or be ready to bend them tight. Why not move the HDD cage forward about 2mm, there is room.
Not painted inside.
No motherboard cutout to run cables or replace cooler brace.
Have I mentioned how tight the board is?
Hard drives very close to door straight SATA cables in this area are tight, not what I expected.
Not a lot of room for cables to be managed.
Included hard drive caddy fits way to tight.
Plastic center between lower aluminum panel and upper aluminum door is cheezy.

Other Thoughts: I built a server out of this.

Crosshair V formula Z
AMD 8350
32GB G.Skill
4 3TB Seagate HDD in RAID 5 on a 640 card
2 Samsung 840 256GB SSD's
Generic Lite On DVD drive.

5 out of 5 eggsBetter than I expected.

Pros: Exceptional styling, solid construction and docks a removable drive enclosure that is handy for backups. Very durable semigloss black finish. Numerous fine touches such as well layed out cable management complete with resealable clasps, invisible magnetic front door closure on a solid metal front panel door, secure mounting for my mirrored hard drives and blue ray burner without use of screws or tools and many other nice surprises.

Cons: I would have hoped that a gigabyte case like the sumo 4112 would comfortably fit a gigabyte motherboard like the x58a-ud7. I managed to get everything in, but the side mounting sata connectors end up too close to the drive cage for easy assembly. If you are putting a similar motherboard in this case I would recommend putting the sata connectors in first before mounting the motherboard to the case. Also mount the hard drives before you socket the memory or you will need to remove one stick of memory to mount one 3.5 inch hard drive or all three sticks if you need to mount two 3.5 inch hard drives.

Other Thoughts: Nice solid quiet case and the dockable drive enclosure is a handy touch. Now, where to find additional gigabyte anvil drive enclosures? Any idea Newegg?

3 out of 5 eggsTHE FULL SOTORY

Pros: -looks and feels like a 200-300$ case
-interchangable LEDs on the front panel
-2 exhaust fans (blue led only)
-disk holder on the ALUMINUM door
-quiet
-HDD has a cool Rail system effective too
-screwless PCI slot system (kept my H50 from fitting)
-eSATA port, Ejectable hard drive enclosure(very neat)
-mesh grill interchangable with plexiglass window
-retractable feet
-looks more expensive than it is

Cons: -Its very tall but not very wide preventing longer videocards from fitting (my 4850 and 5850 fit fine) pretty stupid considering its a full tower...that you dont have room for parts.

-had to cut extra holes in the mobo panel for wire routing in order to make the case function better (i hate cable clutter, its ugly and nonfunctional)

-for such a big case i would have expected better cable management.

-replaced ALL the fans on the case with orange blade fans lit by white LEDs to match the front red light (did this because i prefer white orange lights over blue which have been proven to cause poor sleeping patterns in bedrooms trough repeated studies)

-i did alot of reading on this case before purchasing and came to the conclusion that to have a case like this hold my components there needed to be modding. Tests on this case show that the back exhaust fans ventilate the upper part of the mobo very well however below the videocard is a dead zone causing the GPU to overheat

Other Thoughts: LIST OF NECESSARY MODS.

-cut rectangular wide hole for sata cables, power cables into mobo tray close to the bottom of the HDD rack for wire routing

-Drill and cut hole for a 120mm fan on bottom of the case for ventilation to relieve the GPU/ GPUS from heat buildup

OPTIONAL MODS

- replace fans with quieter ones/more efficient ones

-add a dust guard to bottom fan that you mounted

CONCLUSION
it may look and feel expensive (and for ~160$ it is), it may perform well for a non high end machine but it needs modifications to be an excelent case. sincerely if you can live with cutting a round hole for a fan on the bottom this can prove to be a great case.

i had to take an egg off for poor ventilation on the GPU section (easily fixable) and another for the case being so tall yet narrow preventing longer videocards from fitting without severe modification.

id rather own this case than a case you can find eveywhere else in stores.

4 out of 5 eggsBig, but not big enough

Pros: Lots of room. Tool-less design for: entry, PCI card installation, and internal drive installation. Nice look. Quality construction. Good air flow, quiet.

Cons: My SAPPHIRE 100281SR Radeon HD 5870 video card will not fit! The hard drive bay is 0.5 cm too close to my ATX motherboard to accommodate this huge card. Perhaps that's more a complaint about the card than the case, but I had assumed the a full tower would have handled anything out there, apparently not.

Other Thoughts: I managed to get the metal-working tools out and modify the hard drive bay so that the video card could be installed. That lost me 3 of the 5 hard drive slots, but since I'm only ever going to use 2, I'm happy with that.
