GIGABYTE GZ-G2 puls GZ-G2SGB Black ABS / Mesh/ 0.6 mm SGCC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: The case is good and stout. This is my first computer build but I do like the case. Not many $70.00 cases come with USB 3.0 ports in the front which come in handy and I love the tray on top for throwing thumb drives in. I have plenty of air flow through the case.

Cons: Optic drive is a pain to install, but how often are you swapping it out. The plastic optic drive quick clips didn't work so I just used screws no big deal it will be there till it burns out.

Other Thoughts: I'm building another computer for my employee and I'll be using this case.

Pros: looks nice, lots of fans. the fans are surprisingly quiet. I read somewhere that they are noisy but they are cheaper than the ones in my antec case.

Cons: it does have a 3.5 inch bay on the front, But the other side is 5.25 so It's a pain in the rear to mount anything in it. Also, once I had my motherboard in I couldn't get the optical drive in. So I took the motherboard out and I could at least fit it in the slot. But the front besel doesn't appear to be compatible with the optical drive How hard is it to standardize your slots! very frustrated right now.

Other Thoughts: this came as part of a bundle. I love the motherboard and all the other gigabyte motherboards for that matter. but how hard is it to make a darn case. essentially a box with standard connections is all I ask.

Pros: Case looked nice and can be easily worked on. For the most part had plenty of screws and other such things. Decent construction

Cons: Usb port on front is bad. Fans are horrible. They don't come with the standard motherboard connector and adaptor. They come with your standard 4 pin molex connector. These pretty much fell apart if you connected them and then unconnected them. Out of 4 fans 1 had a connector to connect it to the motherboard. Front panel wires were routed through the 5.25" slot rather then around the 3.5" slots. In order to sell this to a customer I will have to warranty the front panel usb. I am going to replace it with a NZXT case then fix this one and sell it.

Other Thoughts: Personally I would think Gigabyte would have a better quality case but I guess they are just out like everyone else to sell the cheapest product that they can find. Personally I would recommend NZXT cases.
