4 out of 5 eggsGood inexpensive case

Pros: Nice, simple economical case. The front usb connector has been upgraded from two 2.0 as described to one 2.0 and one 3.0 port.

Cons: Arrived with small dent on the side, the box does not offer sufficient protection.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat budget case

Pros: - Sturdy build
- Supports long graphics card
- Supports plenty of hard disks
- Very beautiful front panel look
- Thumb screws on side panels
- Included fan is very quiet

Cons: - Motherboard is difficult to install, and once everything's plugged in there's not much room to add new hard drives.
- Side panels are difficult to put back on properly
- Front panel is difficult to remove
- No cable management space behind motherboard
- no proper 2.5" mount points for SSDs or small hard disks (there is one set of holes in the topmost HDD bay that supports one SSD, but only on one side)
- Front fan is difficult to install between the front side and non-removable HDD cage
- I wish there were more USB ports on the front panel

Other Thoughts: This case is part of my very first custom build. I was on a tight budget, so I didn't expect anything I got to be the best thing ever. I've been using this case for almost half a year now, and it's been quite good to me so far. I love how the Optical drive is completely hidden behind a door that opens to let the tray slide out with a clearly visible button to open the drive, but not so stuck out to ruin the overall look.
I had quite a bit of trouble installing my motherboard, as the hard drive cage was getting in the way. However, the main thing that really frustrates me is when I'm putting a side panel back on and 80% of the time I find that not all four hooks latched when I slid the panel forward, and I have to pull it back again and find a position to possibly get it.

4 out of 5 eggsNot a Bad Case

Pros: -USB 3.0 Plug Available
-Sleek Black Finish
-Big Fan For Major Cooling, (If you own a server this is great for you!)
-Easy Reboot! That is one feature never seen before on a case like this!
-Area for an SSD

Cons: -Could put the fan In the front and also the back
-Sides On the hard drives can come off? Why would we want to remove that? Kinda stupid if you ask me...
-Holes Not big enough to hold the Hard Drives,
-Could Add another SSD Spot

Other Thoughts: I love the case! It goes with well with any other gigabyte Motherboard to put in the case! Cant disagree with the size!

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for Budget Builds

Pros: - Affordable
- Aesthetic
- Decent amount of expansion bays for the price

Cons: - Thin gauge metal
- Power button and ports on front of case are kind of ugly and cheap

Other Thoughts: I bought this case specifically because it was cheap and listed 4 external 5.25" expansion bays. I was going to utilize one bay for the CD/DVD drive, and three other bays were going to be utilized for a Rosewill SATA cage to hold 4x hot-swappable HDDs.

Unfortunately, I'm a bit confused as to what they count as an expansion bay here. There are really only 3 bays - the fourth appears to be for smaller devices (unless they count the section that the power panel is built into - but that's not really a feasible location to attempt to install a drive).

One egg knocked off for lying to me about the number of expansion bays. Since I'm using this for a headless server, I really don't need the CD/DVD drive - it just would have been convenient to have in the few situations such a device is called for.

1 out of 5 eggshorrible quality packing control

Pros: The case itself is of good quality. It is small for a full ATX case but that is what I needed. A hint if you purchase this case. Install the motherboard first, then upper case drives like DVD burners and such, and finally the power supply. The case itself I would give 5 stars for quality and price.

Cons: Now for why I gave it 1 star. The packing quality control is abysmal!!! The first case arrived. I opened the box and the case was packed front bezel down. When I got it out I discovered that all of the attachment mounts were shattered. I sent it back, which.was.more of an expense than I paid for the case. The replacement case arrived. I opened the box and case was correctly packed this time. I pull it out of the box and dang if the rear wasn't crushed on one side! One of the Styrofoam protectors was missing one side. I finally managed to bend it back out with a couple of pairs of pliers. (Continued in Other Thoughts)

Other Thoughts: The whole crux of the matter is the lousy packing. The box is sturdy enough. There are two Styrofoam pieces that cover a side's edges around the side of the case. It is very then, not even 1/2" and brittle. That factor and inattention to quality control by the packers contributed entirely to a less than satisfying buying experience. I do have need for another similar sized case but given my experience with this purchase I will be looking for another manufacturer.

5 out of 5 eggsRecommend this one

Pros: No problems at all. Running like a pro. Recommend highly.

Cons: None, zero, nada

Other Thoughts: This is my 2d Gigabyte Mobo. Had to switch from old reliables that don't support Socket 1155 any more. Turned out to be good choice and wish nw I had switched earlier.

4 out of 5 eggsSOLID Case

Pros: A great case for the price, it was perfect for a bargain build I was making. The slightly thicker .6mm steel makes a TON of difference, so this case feels thick and SOLID. The case does come with one built in fan, I have seen some other competitor cases coming with two (oh well). This case has been running an Intel setup for over a year now and still looks great.

Cons: One of the USB ports on the front has never worked. I didn't feel it was worth the effort to go through an exchange, so I just haven't told Grandma yet. ;)

1 out of 5 eggsWORST BOX I EVER SAW!!!

Pros: NONE

Cons: This box is entirely painted with no way to ground. It also is set up so that when motherboard is installed it does not reach the back of the box. Will never buy another Gigabyte product again. Used to buy Gigabyte all of the time. However, if their quality has dropped this low I won't purchase another of their products.

5 out of 5 eggsCheap and Solid

Pros: Not flimsy at all, casing is thick. All black interior is cool too. Comes with a decent fan and nothing has broken yet, good buttons on it.

Cons: Plastic is cheap on the front but who cares, the rear slots have to punched out, I accidently punched the wrong one and now its just filled in with electrical tape.

Other Thoughts: Can't beat the price for its craftsmanship

4 out of 5 eggsDecent Case

Pros: Solid construction. Ample standoffs and screws. Has a removable 3.5" bay section for extra-long graphics cards.

Cons: No slot covers (remember when they used to have those).

I should have read more carefully but there is only one USB 2.0 connector, but it uses up a two-connector port on the motherboard. Since my motherboard doesn't have USB 3.0, I have one usable port on the front of this case. Seems weird to me to have an odd number of each port.

Also, the entire plastic faceplate had been "sheared" off, every last plastic pin had snapped. Must have dropped at a bad angle during shipping. Duct tape held it back in place. No other damage that I could see (no case twisting or bending).

Other Thoughts: I just needed a cheap case to throw my old computer in when I did an upgrade. This case came with a 120mm fan so I went with it. I might have bought one with more front USB ports next time, but I'm not really concerned about that.
