1 out of 5 eggsHOT BOX 2

Cons: This is to answer Zalman, for wanting me to contact them about this case. Why would I do that? Are they going to give me another case, no. I went back and checked when I bought this boiler room of a case, 8/6/10 was the date.
So I had waited quite awhile before writing a review.
Zalman is just going through the motions and making it look like they are so concerned about what I wrote here.
Seriously, what can they do I ask you? I agree completely with many of the others here when they say it's hot, nasty to take apart and the 2 tiny front fans are useless. I have always had to run this with the side off or temps go flying up, up and away, every time. So to Zalman and there effort to "help me." I say, stay out of the case making business, you have no idea what you are doing.

Other Thoughts: This is to a couple of the other reviewers.
This is a full tower case and like all of them, there is plenty of room to work with inside of it. That is why we buy them.
One last remarks and I'm done with the mini rant. This thing is one heavy bucket as most are once you load them with all your gear. Newegg, has stuff in my account history that I NEVER bought. Why would it be in my account history? Is someone using my info and buying things?

1 out of 5 eggsHOT BOX

Pros: Good room as any full tower has and somewhat decent room for cables and wires.

Cons: This is a closed case for the most part. ZERO side wall fans.
2 fans on top and 2 on the bottom.
The hard drive fans they supply, push next to no air.
What's worse is the fact that "Nobody", makes fans to replace the front fans. Check the Zalman site and see the size fans these are. Zalman has never gotten back to me about this. So in that case there is ZERO support.
There are far, far better cases out there and for a lot less money. If you want one of these, I have one for sale and at a bargain price.

Other Thoughts: I am very sorry I bought this thing and switched back to a Cool Master full tower.
Don't waste your time and money as I did.

4 out of 5 eggsalmost fantastic

Pros: great case, lots of room good airflow nice thumbscrews,
doors come off and go back on with ease, great tolerance on the manufacturing

Cons: little plastic clip for one of the HDD bay doors broke off right away, I had to cut out and super glue a replacement clip.. still keeps breaking. this could be the only area wherethe designers and engineers failed

Other Thoughts: The attorney general eric holder is a piece of dirt, he was instrumental in releasing the FALN terrorists who killed americans. He also tried to stop Arizona from doing the right thing involving the invading illegals

4 out of 5 eggsI like the case

Pros: The case has plenty of places for fans. It is big enough for a large CPU cooling fan. I like the USB ports on top of the case.

Cons: This case is big. Measure the space you are planning to put it in.

When I got the case, the lower hot swapable harddrive bay door latch was broke. I did not realize this until the entire computer was assembled. Word of advice: take all the tape off, inspect everything prior to building up a computer in a brand new case.

Other Thoughts: My one year old loves the blue power button. I am constantly having to keep him away from it.

3 out of 5 eggsdisappoint

Pros: It looks cool. it come with hard drive hot swap bay. PSU position is nice, you can put a fan below it in order to help it for cooling purpose.
come with 5 fan slot.

Cons: if you want to add a fan in the top, you will need to get rid of top cover first, BUT there are two screw hidding very deep in near the front, it is a pain the get it off.
runs hot, I have to repalce the defualt fan by three 5000 rmp fans to get cool.
There is no fan slot for hard drive bay

Other Thoughts: it disappoint me very much. For me, I just need that three hot swap for my hard drives. Most of everything else will be Cons

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case!

Pros: 1. Beautiful clean looking case.
2. Huge with plenty of working space.
3. Good cable management.
4. Front loading drives (bottom three are hot swappable).
5. Good air flow design.
6. Low mounted PSU.
7. Nice blue LED power light.

Cons: Side panels are a little flimsy but it's not a big deal. Helps keep the weight down I guess since this thing is heavy.

2 out of 5 eggsPoor Quality For Top Dollar

Pros: Looks nice if you clean the finger prints off every 5 minutes or so. The hard drive cage was a nice idea if they had paid attention to both the cooling of the cages & lowering the hard drive noises. Case did not have any sharp edges & is fairly simple to work with.

Cons: I've never written a bad review before, but this compelled me. Quality control & cooling is very poor for a pricey case & company specializing in cooling. Extremely poor airflow to HDs, which then run very hot with or without the HD backplane. No space or method to add cooling to HDs. Vents in HD doors have nowhere for air to flow with HDs installed. Only comes with 1 HD backplane & 2nd plane will cost you almost $50 w-shipping. No reset button or HD activity LEDs. Even with every possible fan added, case runs hot.
Sheet metal quality control was pitiful at best. MoBo "tray" had a 1/4" centered inward bulge from it forced into place in manufacture. Had to repair bulge to install MoBo.
Rear of case had a 3/16" outward bulge in its center. It tilted the cards in the lower PCI/PCIe slots up on rearward with retaining screws tightened. They had all snapped in correctly on insertion. I couldn't see they had popped-up & my SATA3 RAID was shorted out & toasted upon the 1st power-up.

Other Thoughts: The entire system had ran both perfectly & cool in a ANTEC 182 case for months. All I wanted was more space & HD hot swap.
Not Zalman's fault but my oldest 300GB WD VelociRaptor's connectors did not mate up with the backplane. I then had to remove the 2nd backplane I had to purchase separate.
Bottom line - instead of wasting money on the "power supply roller wheels gimmick", Zalman should bought a "machinist straight edge" & trained their quality control personal in its use. I would expect this poor of workmanship out of a $20 case, but not such a pricey case. The price I had to pay for the second backplane was a total ripoff & should have been included in the first place. Zalman should know better, especially concerning the lack of cooling airflow & as an electronics R&D engineer myself, I would be ashamed of this product had I designed it, besides to expect premium price for poor engineering! This case was not damaged in transport, but required much sheet metal work to even use.

3 out of 5 eggsBulky, Inconvenient, Hot

Pros: Looks Nice
Hot Swappable Hard Drive Bays (3)

Cons: Frustrating to work with - Just try to take off the front panel, you have to practically take the whole thing apart. Screws are a pain. Took me an hour to take the whole thing apart.
This thing runs hot. No place to mount a front fan. There are two slots to put blow holes on it, and one impossible -to-get-to fan slot in the bottom.
Also, the hard drives have absolutely no means of being cooled.

Other Thoughts: I am about to swap this case for another one after owning it for three months. I fear opening this thing up, something a computer modder should love. It also has a cheap feeling to aspects of it, such as the plastic feet, whose rubber stops all came off after a week. It's not a horrible option overall, but I am sure there are plenty better cases out there.

5 out of 5 eggsfrikin good lookin

Pros: great looking case. thumb screws on everything. i read somewhere that the cover on the front ports didnt close flushed, mine is perfect. the ring of blue light around the power button is awesome, not too bright at all. the cable routing behind the mobo tray is pretty good.

Cons: finger prints, yes. the only ways to improve this thing; make the mobo tray removable and do away with the feet on the bottom. they look nice but can be awkward (read: i dont mean just take them off, there are air intakes on the bottom, this is what needs changing)

Other Thoughts: do we really need the removable power supply feature? did make putting it in easier i guess

3 out of 5 eggsNice looking, Poor airflow

Pros: It's a very good looking case and the hot-swap bays are nice. I LOVE the cable management options behind the motherboard tray. I was able to put ALL my cables behind the mobo and still put the rear cover on.

Cons: No front to back airflow which is BAD. The 2 120mm fans that it comes with are mounted for rear and top air removal. There is nothing to pull air in from the front of the case and there is nowhere to put one. The top portion of the chassis is a pain to remove. There are 2 screws up front that are VERY hard to see but rest assured, they are there. The give you 6 hot-swap bays but only 1 backplane. I am not sure why they do this because you're forced to order another backplane from Zalman if you want to use it. Annoying.

Other Thoughts: I am not a huge fan of the plastic outer shell but at least it's piano black.
