2 out of 5 eggsCool Case

Pros: This is a nice looking HTPC case. The volume knob has an eggcelent feel.

Cons: I can only get my remote to work in the moncaso media center. Otherwise its useless.

Other Thoughts: My LCD screen was DOA and I called the company. They said they will send me a new one no problem but I had to pay shipping. Considering I paid $500 for a CASE I felt like they should be responsible for their mistakes. They agreed to send me a shipping label. A week later I didn't get a label but I got a new screen. The only problem being it was for the 932b and not the 932t case. My case has been sitting now for 2 weeks with no screen. I called them back and they guy said he didn't think they made a mistake but he would call me. No call. I don't know if they think im trying to jip them but I just want me screen and I don't want to pay shipping!!! Now I have a broken screen, a new screen, and no screen for my case.

5 out of 5 eggsMonCaso 932T

Pros: Excellent case for HTPC. Case has plenty of ventilation/circulation and is quiet using 6 80mm Pabst fans throughout. Tight fit for my components but nonetheless it all fits. Card reader, USB, 1394, in front.

Cons: Don't have any yet.

Other Thoughts: My specs - EVGA 780i, Intel 9450 OC to 3.3Ghz, Mushkin DDR2 @ 4-4-4-12 825Mhz, 9800GX2, LG Bluray 2x burner, Areca 1210 RAID controller & four WD Velociraptors in RAID 0, thermaltake 850W SLI supply.

5 out of 5 eggsA little expensive, but worth it.

Pros: Solid build quality, Great look and touch screen on the front is even more useful than I thought it would be.

I have this htpc hooked up to my bravia and having the touchscreen means I can check something quickly online or change out music without disturbing what is happening on the tv, Xbox or movies etc..

Plenty of room
No cooling issues (non overclocked, stock cooling)

Cons: Case is not tool-less or snapin. Everything requires a phillips screwdriver.

CD location at the lower edge of case means you MUST get a short drive (170mm) which is harder to find. Newegg only had one brand in stock that was short enough (lite-on).

In order for the aluminum drive bezel to fit flush with the case I had to take off the original bezel and front plate, So it would lay flat on the case, This means I had to make an extension for the eject button since the front plate was gone.

Hard drive bays mount to the top of the cd bay, so to take the optical drive out you must take out both hard drive cages.

Fan noise could be quieter. (Although its still quieter than my xbox360 and the case comes with two hd fans at the front, and two case fans at the back 80mm. Plus my gtx260 and power supply fans)

Price is a bit high, but you are paying for the touchscreen.

Other Thoughts: Would have been nice to have the measurement requirements of the optical drive listed in the case description on newegg (I was expecting it to be an issue). Dimensions listed on optical drives too, (had to google for that info)
First drive i bought was an LG bluray burner.... Didn't fit, Then a Lite-on bluray burner....Defective, Now I have the Lite-on DH-4O1S-66. Which fits in the case with right angled sata AND power cable (may be too long if you don't have right angled cables).

All the cons listed are really just minor hassles during setup And don't effect daily use. As always Newegg rocks. I RMA'd the first two optical drives to newegg with no hassles

Intel DX58SO MB
Intel core I7 940

3 Gb DDR3 1600
1Tb raid1
XP64

This machine handles all my games at 1920x1080 High quality, even Crysis at avg 30+ fps (DX9).
With the right software additions to XP ("Hot virtual keyboard" "UltraMon" "Grab and Drag Firefox add-on") the touchscreen is very usable and worth the

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Case!

Pros: Great Venihlation! Has four case fans included, of which 2 are located on the hard-drive casges for maximum cooling of HD's. Plenty of room to work with! fits ATX/mATX fits a standard PSU, the IMON remote is great also! Smudge resistant, Heavy and made from quality materials. The front LCD is beautiful no dead pixels and easy to install everything. They even provide their own screw driver and plenty of extra screws! 500 is a little Pricey though. maybe 399.00 would be a better deal. Regardless excellent case! Also comes with IMON front view software for the LCD, though I couldn't find my city in the display configuration (for weather) the closest one was Tampa (I live in Orlando) How could you not include Orlando?

Configuration - 2.8 GHZ OC~3.2 GHZ AMD XP Dual Core Processor 5400+/Gigabyte 690G MB utilizing onboard GPU/ 4GB DDR 800 g.skill/250 GB WD HD OEM/ (All of my media is stored on a server)/Panasonic/HD powerline eth adapter (faster more reliable than most wireless standards)

Cons: (other installed items OS~Vista Premium x64/Eath watts PSU/Blu-Ray DVD)The included software runs great but IMON prompts you there is an update to a beta version that crashes vista sometimes once installed. The is not much different that I could tell from the version that comes with the case and the beta update so I unintalled the beta and loaded the v.2 back on and all was well.

The hard drive cage should be moved to the back in some way because if you get a loud HD you will hear it. I am going to replace mine with a quieter model HD as the Western Digital I got is loud, possibly going bad. very heavy must have a strudy entertainment cabnet.

NEWEGG.COM! CON not the manufacturers fault. The keyboard that is included on every other site that sales this product for the same price is NOT INCLUDED with the NEWEGG.COM version. I called Newegg and they confirmed it was no shipping mistake they just don't include it in their version so be forwarned.

Other Thoughts: I got the new Logitech Dinovo Mini Keyboard instead.

NEWEGG should include the keyboard but its no a huge deal.
at least drop the price for not including it.

The case is wonderful, has a very bright blue light though around the power button. I could have done without that. the screen auto dims when watching a movie. You can adjust it via IMON SW to how dim you would like it to be.

Newegg.com did ship it fast. shipping was about $22.00.
There was some cool Vista MCE plugins also but you just have to search very hard for them. MCEtunes which can play you itunes videos and music within Vista MCE, Mynetflix MCE, Tv Tonic, I found a lot and now MCE is put to a greater use then just what comes installed. but you have to really look for the plugins Microsoft Needs to Update MCE badly!
