5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Awesome looking case that looks right in a living room. Stock fans are kinda loud. I replaced them with Silenx 80mm.

LCD screen is cool. Software that comes with it is functional.

Frontview, which controls the LCD, seems to be based off of rainmeter software.

Cons: The build process was nowhere near as fun as my Coolmaster ATCS 840. Man it was a pain to get the Bluray player installed and I don't think the front button will ever feel right. I had to use my kids eraser for the button to reach the bluray's door mechanism.

For $500 the case should be perfect that includes the optical drive button!

Other Thoughts: Glad I bought it.

3 out of 5 eggsBEAUTIFUL BUT......

Pros: This is a first class HTPC case in many regards. Well made, stylish, functional, etc.

Cons: Too bad I had to return it because there is only 1 BD drive that will fit and it is junk. Also, the only software that works with the cool touch screen is the IMON. Another negative. Also, can only hold 4 internal HDD, and I have a 6 drive array.

Other Thoughts: Way too much money . $400 more than same case w/o touch screen that isn't even useful. just cool to look at.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat looks, poor function

Pros: Beautiful case design aesthetically, very functionally touch screen, with a decent remote to control the media center that Vista or Windows 7 provides.

Rigid enough (Steel) that I could stack heavy components on top without any problems.

Cons: While a beautiful looking case, it is not as functional as I would like.

Throwing in a EVGA Classified board was impossible without some major case modding. The ATX aluminum backplate is RAZOR sharp, and riveted on so ultimately I had to drill them out.

As one reviewer stated, putting a LG combo bluray drive in was impossible again without MAJOR case mods.

CPU cooling is VERY limited in clearance, if your doing air you have 5" maximum to the top of the case, I went custom water so that was not an issue for me but was one of the contributing factors that I did a water cooling system.

Standoffs are also rivetted so if they don't fit your board then its either a drill or a dremel.

Other Thoughts: Conclusion is that this is one of the best LOOKING HTPC cases on the market imho, but the design department needs work. And at over 5 bills, it should not require much mods.

Do yourself a favor go micro-atx, cooling..well that's up to you, thermalright has a very nice but expensive low profile air cooler, or go water.

Hope that helps as after a few hours af machine work its gorgeous just was unexpected that I would have to spend that much time with mods.

4 out of 5 eggsVery nice case for a cool HTPC rig

Pros: Great looking, able to support the weight of normal sized Receivers and other stereo equipment. Touch screen works great, looks cool, and the bundled iMon and MediaHD software is pretty slick. Inside of the case is constructed very nicely and is easy to work with.

Cons: Need a 170mm or less optical disk drive. Some of the cables inside the case are a little too long or a little too short. Doesnt include the hard disk cooling fans (an 80mm case fan will work fine).

Other Thoughts: On one of the Moneual case reviews, someone had claimed that the calibration of the touch screen was way off. This is true, however, using the iMon software, you can calibrate it and then it's spot on. This previous reviewer obviously never read the manual.

5 out of 5 eggsMoneual

Pros: This case has a 7" touchscreen which is just awesome for a relaxed desk environment with media, or out in the living room for a party situation. The touchscreen software should be easy to use for guests to change the music if they please, and the features are endless. And the technology is impressive.

Cons: Software does not come for Linux. Moneual please release the Linux and developer kit! Would make it 10x better more amazing product.

Other Thoughts: Support for this product if purchased from Newegg may be lame, so purchase directly from Moneual's webste, It is the exact same price. You can even purchase high quality pre-built systems by Moneual at reasonable prices.

2 out of 5 eggsPoor Support

Pros: Nice aluminum case, good design, 7" touchscreen.

Cons: This was my first HTPC build after building many PC's. The manual was not very comprehensive. I am returning the case to Newegg for a refund. The IR was not working after spending a lot of time trying to fix it. My main issue is lack of support from Moneual. There is no user forums and nothing to help on the web page. I had to go to Soundgraph for help with the iMon software. They had a forum, but nothing specific to Moneual. I'm getting another case from someone with better support.

Other Thoughts: I really liked this case. The screen was great. It just simply took too much time trying to troubleshoot the problems with the iMon software and the IR. The case requires a shorter optical drive, otherwise you have issues. I had to route sata cables under the motherboard.

I'm running Vista Premium 32-bit.
