5 out of 5 eggsSolid case

Pros: Good build quality. Got it on a Shell Shocker for $30. Much sturdier feeling than other cases in that price range. Very low profile.

Cons: Power supply was junk. But after a while you come to expect that in these package deals. Perhaps a little too small for some. "Green" features a bit gimmicky.

Other Thoughts: All in all, the case itself I'd recommend for the price I paid. Just don't count on anything from the power supply.

Pros: cheap! but still junk! recieved item built system then discovered defective power supply. went threw the hoops with the company support people. scan my invoice from new egg showing purchase. paid at my expense to ship back, plus the time and effort scanning and e-mailing invoice. waited almost 3 weeks for replacement. Once replace recieved it was dead Power Supply again! Contact Newegg to do RMA! The company is not responsive when it comes to customer support. I'm a reseller bought over $80,000 last year from new egg. I explained sent me a power supply cross shipment will back it with my credit card. No way Jose! Support person stated we do not do that! You send us defective we will send you another one. Wow, yea a nother untested dead one! NOT RECOMMENDING THIS COMPANY AT ALL! STAY AWAY BAD PARTS, BAD SUPPORT!!!

3 out of 5 eggsWell-made case

Pros: Well built, looks great.

Cons: Only bay with outside access is optical drive. Has non-standard power supply.

Other Thoughts: Returned my case as it was sent with European (220/50) power supply. Not manually or automatically switchable. Since Newegg was not able to furnish correct supply, I returned it and bought another style case that took a 'normal' power supply. The supply with this case has an additional module that can switch a power strip on and off. Handy but a problem to replace if it dies since Newegg does not carry them separately.

3 out of 5 eggsKind of an awkward case...

Pros: Looks Nice. Can be used as a tower or desktop.

Cons: Small power supply, case is awkward to build, front ports are behind doors that are hard to access. Not very user friendly.

Other Thoughts: Not a bad case, but more gimmicky than useful.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Case, But......

Pros: Nice, small compact design. Not too loud with stock fans.

Cons: NO HARDWARE! non-descriptive instructions on pdf disc.

Other Thoughts: I had it up and running with an I3/MSI build in normal time, but shorted out mobo with unmarked cables. connected the basics, on switch and on led, usb. Had to take leftover parts from other builds to make it all go together. I would buy again if selling for $30 again. F.Y.I. Installed Windows 8, and is very fast!

3 out of 5 eggsA Feel Good Case for Tree Huggers

Pros: The is a u-ATX tower that is thinner than many because the drive cage is mounted vertically. There are a lot of places to mount internal drives on the cage. A good size for a low-end home server. There are not very many sharp edges. It has sparkly green plastic buttons and lenses. The green accents on the case front are shaped into a plant. Very artistic. The case came in a very nice looking, high quality cardboard box, with a pleasant tree graphic under the box flaps.

Cons: The front bezel is an average quality, finger-printerific, high gloss, spring loaded catch doors covering access type. This bezel has a bottom vent that is made of many super thin slits and plastic strips which can be easily broken if not carefully handled. The case is suppose to be eco-friendly because it has a remote on/off rocker switch which they oddly mounted under the front access door. This novelty can't justify the cost when hitting the switch on the powerstrip would do the same thing. The case could be easily damaged in shipping so they use a lot of material to ship it to me in pristine shape (not very eco friendly I might add). I didn't like the non-standard case to motherboard wiring. I didn't like the software (driver) that is needed for "talking" to the case.

It only gets three stars from me for being over priced for what you get compared to other cases I've bought. (See below)

Other Thoughts: I have several cases to compare this case to in terms of size and quality. Like the Antec 300, Rosewill Blackbone, In Win BL631.300TBL, Foxconn RS233, Jetway HBJC200C91-230B, and MSI Wind PC. The quality of the Antec is so far superior they are not even in the same league. As far as using the case for an HTPC build the In Win is a much better size; More narrow and just about as tall. Alternatively the Foxconn RS and RM series are good choices. For very small, but well ventilated builds nothing beats the Jetway.

It should also be noted that the motherboard pan size is not that deep and some motherboards will not have mounts to support their front edge. A 9.6" x 8.4" motherboard, like the Foxconn A76ML-K 3.0, fits perfectly.

The case is worth every penny I paid for it (which was 70% off list).

4 out of 5 eggsGood Case

Pros: this case is great! its small, easy to build into, and easy on cable management.

Cons: i dont have any real technical issues, but the pictures and reviews lead me to believe this case was a little smaller.

Other Thoughts: I got this little case for $29.99 on a newegg sale. i built it for Linux/scripting/web design to use when i don't wanna run up the bill on my gaming rig.

4 out of 5 eggsI like it

Pros: -Slim, but still fits full sized expansion cards
-The front is nice and rounded (newegg's picture looks flat compared to it real life).
-Thumbscrews on both side panels
-Plenty of air intake vents (front, top bottom, side) but the only to mount fans is in the back.
-In depth instructions (not in print form, they're only on the CD in PDF format)
-3.5" and 5.25" drive bays can be removed as one unit by 4 screws for easy drive installation
-Front audio jacks support both "HD audio" mobo headers, and "AC '97"
-Included 60mm fan is silent (or, just as loud as my CD drive when there's no CD in it [which does subtly make a whirr sound that I never noticed until I compared])
-A power strip can be connected to the AC outlet on the back of the case. Any peripherals that are plugged into said power strip (monitor, speakers, router, printer, so-on) will have their power cut when the PC shuts down. The manufacturer calls this the "Power Saving Module" (explained more below)

Cons: -NO CONNECTOR FOR FRONT HDD LED INDICATOR
-PSU's fan is the loudest fan between my stock intel CPU fan, and the included 60mm case fan. Without it my computer would be near silent.
-The "Power Saving Module" (talked below below) directs half of the PSU's exhaust out the back like normal, but it also has vents pointing down, allowing warm PSU exhaust to re-cycle into the case. I simply remedied this by placing clear packing tape over those vents.
-Front panel connectors are not labeled. But an included CD contains a PDF which tells which describes each connector by it's wire colors. (FYI there's a USB-looking plug, with the green and white flipped from normal USB headers. This is the standby button for the front panel [but the manual oddly calls it an "Eco board connector"] It's supposed to plug into a normal USB header on the motherboard -- don't let the flipped wire colors scare you [trust me, it works on mine]

Other Thoughts: The "Power Saving Module" is not part of the included Logisys PSU, it has been added on to the PSU by the case manufacturer. If you want to get a better power supply for this case, I think you can un-mount the power saving module from the Logisys PSU, and attatch i to your new PSU if you want (It will take some handy-work, but nothing too hard for a PC builder)

The "Power Saving Module" also has a stray molex dangling from it. Simply plug this into one of the PSU's spare molex's for the power saving module to work correctly.

The supplied PSU only has a 4 pin CPU power plug (not the new 6 pin). But if you have a newer ASUS board like mine, it will let you get away with plugging a 4 pin in the 6 pin jack (Check your motherboard's manual online from the motherboard manufacturer's website before you buy a new mobo with this case, or get a 4-to-6 pin adaptor)

3 out of 5 eggsCase is nice, PowerSupply is the worst!

Pros: Nice case
small (mATX)
well built
green - power saving features
Thumb screws for both covers
power rocker switch on the front cuts power to the PC and any accessories like montitor, speakers, printer, etc.

Cons: Price I paid was $109.99
Power supply is complete garbage, see below.
Instructions were useless. All the front panel headers are not labeled except for the Audio. Headers for PWR, reset, and LED were NOT labeled and you have to guess what to put where.

Other Thoughts: The power supply used in the case is a Logisys PS350MA, is rated 350 watts but cannot even get to 250 watts. It has horrible efficiency at about 70-74% and gets really hot! Check out this review that I found after experiencing problems. http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Logisys-PS350MA-Power-Supply-Review/1293

My PS died after half an hour of use. I won't even bother to RMA the case or PS since the replacement will just be the same PS. I'm going for a FSP mATX that is 80+ bronze, model FSP450-60GHS(85)-R at Am@zon. [Sorry Newegg, you did not have any good mATX PS's.]

Other than the PS problem, I like the case. If you are going to get this case, buy a reliable mATX power supply to go with it.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Case

Pros: Solid construction and well thought out interior. This case fits 1 (5-1/4") optical drive and 2 (3-1/2") HDDs the intended way or 3 if you utilize the worthless floppy bay and some fancy mounting. I have an older P4 (Cedar Mill 3.40 GHz) and no temperature issues using the one included case fan.

Cons: There are two minor dislikes I have about the power supply, nothing about the case. The included power supply only has one SATA connector, but is easily fixed using inexpensive Molex to SATA power adapters, and the power supply fan is a little bit on the noisy side (for me anyways since I am using it as a secondary HTPC).

Other Thoughts: Overall I am very happy with the case and would recommend it. It does look a little funny but better in person. The strip in front is not yellow but more of a lighter whiteish green.
