Turn on German engineering and feel the power. The Naxonia Deep Silence 1 mid tower case delivers an exciting combination of performance, feature and quality. Exquisite looks and timeless elegance characterize the appearance:  the design is deliberately simple. Common controls are inconspicuously integrated into the exterior surface, maintaining the linear design flow.

This innovative tower is the foundation for a whole new line of future products boasting ideal system cooling and sensationally low noise levels, especially for the use of high-end PC systems. It's also characterized by an array of unique features like the Air Chimney, the fully modular HDD cage, and the retractable I/O panel, so you'll get an amazing experience for your next PC build.

  • newegg Minimal Noise In the course of the many years of development, the focus has always been on two requirements: the minimization of noise and the minimization of system temperatures. In this case, a host of sound-dampening materials and measures have been adopted to live up to the name "Deep Silence". The side panels and top cover are fitted with specially designed, noise-reducing insulation materials to minimize and absorb any noises. The solid front doors use sound-absorbing materials for effective noise reduction. The hard disk drives are mounted using rubber suspension, in order to absorb vibrations before they even are noticeable. The power supply rests on rubber mounts, with a suspension frame available on the back. Rubber-suspended case feet, crafted in the classy "hi-fi" look, safely contain all vibrations.
  • newegg Intelligent ventilation system with Water Cooling Support As many as three high-quality Nanoxia Deep Silence fans are preinstalled in the case. Behind the front cover, two 120 mm fans rotate at a maximum of 1,300 RPM. The fans are located in special swiveling brackets which allow for simple removal of the fans and easy access to the serial dust filters. Mounted at the back of the case is a 140 mm fan, rotating at roughly 1,100 RMP. A two-channel fan control for up to six fans is included. The integrated fan control allows optimizing settings to balance low system temperatures and the lowest possible noise levels, even at an almost full fan assembly. This chassis accommodates a 240 mm radiator below the steel top cover. By not using any of the HDD-cages, another 240 mm radiator can be fitted behind the front cover (behind the front mounted 120 mm fans). Four additional rubber hose guides for external water cooling solutions can be found on the rear side.
  • newegg Air Chimney With an easy-access slider, the Air Chimney on the top cover can be opened to increase heat dissipation. As hot air always rises, heat generated by components passively escapes from the case interior without additional noise. When not in use, the Air Chimney can be closed to preserve the clean look of the case line.
  • newegg Fully modular, adjustable HDD cage Three fully modular HDD cages are provided to mount up to eight 2.5 inch or 3.5 inch hard disk drives. Two of these cages are designed for three HDDs, and the third holds up to two. The three hard disk drive cages can be removed and combined as desired: it is possible to accommodate two, three, five, six, or eight data storage drives. The hard drives are installed in special mounting carriages, which are designed to accommodate both 2.5" HDD/SSD as well as 3.5" HDD. Screws with rubber suspension are used to hold the drives in place. The case supports a VGA card of up to 315mm long with the three HDD cages installed, or one of up to 445mm long with the HDD cages removed.
  • newegg Cable Management The Tower offers a lavish cable management system. All openings in the motherboard tray are fitted with rubber guards. Even when using Micro-ATX motherboards it is possible to hide the cables behind the motherboard tray.
  • newegg Retractable I/O Panel The I/O panel can be found on the top cover of the case with 2 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB 2.0, Mic, and Audio connectors available. The retractable panel can easily be embedded in the cover if the connectors are not needed. This ensures that the simple look of the case is maintained, without sacrificing its useful features.

5 out of 5 eggsIncredible

Pros: Very quiet
Excellent temperature performance
Extremely high quality
Excellent cable routing options
Excellent water-cooling accommodations
Near silent fans
Filters for all fans & fan intakes
Built in fan controllers
Tons of sound proofing
Plenty of space
Hidden magnets keep drive bay doors secure

Cons: Side panels are difficult to put back on
Stand off between motherboard tray and side panel could use an extra 1/4 inch for cable routing
Power button is easily accidentally hit

Other Thoughts: Wow... this was almost complete pleasure to work with. First off, let me just say the quality of the materials, plastics and metals are very high. Nothing about this case feels cheap despite its mid-range price. The cable routing options are well thought out and make the inside of the case look nice and neat. My ONLY three complaints are these:

Both side panels were a hassle to put back on. The stand off between the rear of the motherboard tray and the side panel could use some extra space. Once I had all my cables routed behind the tray it was difficult to put the panel back on. I hope it never needs to come off! While working with the case I accidentally hit the power button on top of the case several times. A recessed power button is probably a better idea.

I haven't had a problem with the top IO panel for USB & audio, but I can see what people are talking about. It pops up, but hesitantly. Nevertheless it's staying put.

Overall this is an excellent case and I'm extremely happy with my purchase. I look forward to seeing more products from this company!

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing case

Pros: Quiet: Built a new system in this case and it is quieter (even with the chimney open) than my previous system, which is saying a lot considering the difference in my PSU and GPU size.

Design: My first case with cable routing. It worked well. Also had quality mounting options for SSD and HDD. Bottom mounted PSU is very nice (seems to be the new standard).

It looks nice, too.

Cons: 2 1/2 small issues. Not enough to deduct an entire star for any of them.

One of my front fans won't click into place. This isn't a big deal because the fan is running fine and had door in front of it that holds it in place. But, it should lock into place and it is not. Can't see an obvious defect causing this (compared to fan below it which does click into place).

The cut-out for the CPU in the motherboards tray was not large enough or aligned correctly to my motherboard. Could not attach my CPU Fan's back plate while the motherboard was installed in the case.

Other issue is just with the design. The chimney and flip-up USB panel makes it harder to use the computer as a table top. This may actually be a good thing, in the long run; I probably shouldn't be loading it with books, dvds, cans, or whatever i just put down.

Other Thoughts: The nicest case I've yet owned. A part that I don't often think about when doing a build; if I buy one (instead of rebuild in an old shell) I usually just get any Antec on sale because they traditionally make great stuff

This time I took a shot on another case maker and I am impressed with the quality. Reviews here and elsewhere are all spot on. This is a great case.
