the best htpc
- Pros: Beautiful brushed front face goes good with my entertainment system. Glossy black paint on sides. I bought this case mainly because of the positioning of the power supply in front to make the case narrow to fit in entertainment rack. Also cause of the price.
- Cons: Very pretty BRIGHT blue light surrounding power button. The light looks professional but I will unplug it for the obvious reason.
- Other Thoughts: I hear the whiners once more complain about the lowest price case offered in this category. Come on guys!!! Grow up. This case packs a lot of stuff in a small package. You have to THINK to put it together. I transplanted a full size Asus A7V8X-X, Barton 2500, ati9700 with one of those big fanless heatpipe heatsinks, two ati550 tv tuners, audigy2 zx, TWO hard drives, antec 430 ps, and a DVD writer all in this case. I'm typing this review now and am very happy with the case...
Compact, stylish, functional case with minimal drawbacks
- Pros: The case is a nice, shiny black with a matte, brushed metal finished front panel, which fits perfectly into HT applications. Compact size and lots of fan openings
- Cons: Drive bays are difficult to get to when installing DVD drives - I also couldn't figure out how to lock down both sides of the dvd drive - could only secure one side with a screw
- Other Thoughts: Installation of the components (I have a pretty simple setup with a micro-atx motherboard and an ATX power supply) was not difficult. I was able to rebuild the whole system in the case on my first try and got it to start up and run perfectly without a hitch. This is my first build, so I was happy with that. The case is a little cramped on the inside, so you need to think through the build before jumping into it - for example, installing the power supply makes it impossible to install the DVD drive - so the DVD drive needs to be install first. The hard drive bay covers up the area to secure the dvd drive - but the work around was easy, and the wya the drive sits in the bay, its not as big a deal as I thought it might be. The case is attractive (I actually like the "DVD" and "UDB" logos on the case). T The drive doors function perfectly. THe case is quite cool, actually, given its compact size - just put a couple of fans in it ( I have five fans, including my PSU fans).

Nice Case
- Pros: Nice brushed aluminum finish to the front of the case. Ease of use installing media drives, 2 80 quiet fans included. Everything went to together and worked with the supplied parts. Thanks to New Egg for delivering in within 2 days.
- Cons: My old 4X DVD burner would stick on the false front door. You need a DVD drive with a flat bottom for the false doors to open and close correctly. The Samsung fits this requirement and it was time to upgrade.
- Other Thoughts: Silverstone ST350, Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L, Itel Pentium E2160, 2 GB Kingston KVR800D2K2/2GR, XFX GeForce 8600GT XXX, Samsung SH-S203N, Western Digital WD2500KS, The video card is the loudest component in the case.
Just Buy It, You cant go wrong!
- Pros: First of all the PRICE, and free shipping. Second would be they design and layout, it is one of the best cases Ive seen. A buddy of mine paid over 250 for a different case and he now wants to buy one of these. Every is easy to install, Micro ATX MB Fits very easy, same with power supply.
- Cons: I can't think of any, Not buying it would be one.
- Other Thoughts: Overall this case only has 2 3.5bays and 2 5.25bays. Only down fall I can see. But in my case I wont need any more than that. Also the cd mounting is super easy, has a nice slider to adjust for the button to open. Great ventilation. Also use a Zalman 7700, this fan fits perfect. Also case has great air flow.
Nice Case
- Pros: Looks great. Full ATX board fits in just fine. Silent! Looks much better then it does in the photos. NewEgg and UPS had it to my door in just two days!
- Cons: not enough stand-offs for full size ATX, though I had extras (I always save spare parts) so a non-issue for me. Took a little work to get the DVD lined up just right with the open/close button, but nothing a little patience won't solve. The blue LED around the power button is too bright.
- Other Thoughts: Things are a bit tight maybe, but if you THINK when you build your system you'll have no trouble. Not really any worse than any of the 100 or so systems I've built in the past. Had all the parts ripped out of previous case and into this one in a little over an hour. I put in HD first, then Mobo, then cards, then floppy/card reader, then DVD and last, power supply. Mine came with two 80mm fans in the rear even though description says none are included. Put an extra intake fan on one side to help with cooling, but only because I bought fans cuz I thought it didn't come with any.
