Pros: I'm giving this a 4 because they could have done better if they wanted to -see my cons. In sum, I have a very small form factor case with a d525 atom based pfsense firewall/ids box running perfectly.

I can't speak to the fit with other boards but I put in a Gigabit D525 atom board and it fit fine-but tight (as to be expected). I can't for the life of me see this working with an ivy/sandy bridge processor and an aftermarket fan.

Cons: The fit and finish on the exterior case screws wasn't where it could have been. Everything on the actual mounting of the hardware was fine - board, hd etc... but the exterior panel screws could cross thread easily if you weren't paying attention. Would I not get this case because of this? No. I'm being picky. I rebuild vintage American Machinery as a hobby- when stuff was all mechanical yet well thought out and engineered for the standards of the time. It's 2013. The screws shouldn't even have a hint of a hard time finding their hole. Just some longer screws for the diameter chosen would have done it.

Other Thoughts: I build networks for small offices up to 100 people. This is defiantly a candidate for future custom firewall builds that aren't in a rack. This took my sata-> compact flash "drive" just fine.

I feel like shipping could be lowered if one of the smallest cases available came in a smaller box. It would make it the clear choice over competitors for me.

On another note. It wan't clear in the photo but this case will mount to a wall with some screws (not provided). It has some X slots on the two sides of the case.

How do they think you might be able to fit a 3.5" drive in here? you'll get a 2.5... two if your lucky.

Pros: Very Compact. Very Solid. Worked great for my Linux box. With just a board, memory, and a low power SSD, no issues with cooling.

Cons: The atom board I bought (nd2800mt) does not need the PSU this case comes with, would have liked to pay less and not get the PSU.

Other Thoughts: This was one of those items I buy, and feel glad as I open and then use it.

Pros: Solid material/design. Not the best look, but not that bad either.
Small. Comes with the power supply.
There is a hole that you can install RP-SMA connector on side.

Cons: Power connector is on the side, not in the back, which limits the orientation of box.
No reset button.
Fit and finish can be better.
If you need the second and third RP-SMA connectors, you need to drill, which I did.
I wish there were two USB ports in front.

Other Thoughts: The box can be a perfect silent mini server at home.
I run a pfSense firewall with AMD geode mini ITX board with this. It's been a year in service, working great.

If you need more than 60W of power in this case, you are doing something wrong. The case does not have good ventilation, so you need to keep the power consumption minimal.
My Geode board eats about 15W at AC, and the box gets comfy warn without fan. I cannot imagine putting in CPUs other than ATOM, Geode or Hudson. Maybe, Sandy/Ivy bridge with 35W TDP CPUs are OK but then you may have to put in a fan.

The case is very sturdy, and can take some amount of punishment such as stepping on or being dropped. (LOL)

Obviously for this size, if you need a CPU fan, you need to look for 1U server heatsink.

Pros: Layout for the wiring is great. Location of fans and drives are also good for the tiny form factor. Low voltage and paired well for setups that just need the mobo and that is all.

Very study feel and great access for a tiny board.

Port already drilled out for an antenna mount. Normally I would have to dremel it myself and cover that up with the nuts/washers, since I can't machine a smooth hole for the life of me. This one was already done and in a good spot.

Cons: THE BLUE LEDS!!!!! My goodness, the lights are definitely bright and plentiful. I didn't want to pry it back open to disable the LED, but put it into a drawer to prevent my eyes from getting burned.

No front USB ports.

Other Thoughts: This is definitely not meant for boards with drives and expansion in mind. There is no way you can fit any drive other than a HD or SSD drive in there. There isn't even a lot for anything to match up anyhow, rear or front.

My particular board, I did have ot take out the power port on the side of the case. It came off with a couple of twists with a needle nose pliers, but that is more the interaction of the mobo I bought and this case.

Pros: Very small case, also it's well-built and really sturdy. I've paid a lot more for ATX mid-towers that were flimsier than this. Though tight, you should be able to fit two 2.5" laptop hard drives or SSDs inside without too much difficulty.

The external laptop-style PSU is nice.

Cons: Well, not a con for me, but this thing is TINY. It has mounts for a 3.5" hard drive but you'll never fit one inside. It also has mounts for a DVD drive despite having no slot for one, I assume that internal drive mount is reused on other case designs. No room for any PCI/PCI-Express cards whatsoever, not even low profile. None of these affected me but you'll want to be aware of it when you purchase this.

The only con for me was the extremely bright power and HDD LEDs, they light up my room pretty well at night. I'll probably leave them unplugged once the system is finished since I'm building a low-power server that will be on for 24/7 use.

Other Thoughts: Built a low-power Intel Atom D525 system running CentOS 6 to run as a TeamSpeak 3 server and run the DynDNS.org updater client. The entire system runs on about 20 watts, is quiet, and small enough to keep out of the way.

Pros: Nice and sturdy Mini ITX case. This is probably one of the smallest you can get. Visually it reminds me of the old Apple Mac Mini design and I am sure the guys from Habey were aware of those similarities. Overall the quality is pretty good. I bought this along with a Giada Mini ITX board for a Clearos router configuration as it is one of the few boards that have dual GBit Nic's. The Giada board comes with a dual core Atom 1.8GHZ and an active fan. Cooling is not the best in this little case so I had to drill some extra holes in the cover plate to allow for proper ventilation. Didn't want to buy and extra fan so this did the trick for me. Temps are between 25 and 36 degrees Celsius which is acceptable. Along with this build came a 40GB Intel 310 SSD and 2GB of Samsung SO-DIMM DDR3 memory. I have the router up and running for several months now without any hick ups.

Cons: The power adapter is attached to the left side of the case so it can get in the way. Also the cable of the power adapter on the inside is very thick and hard to bend to get it out of the way and fiddle the motherboard in. This could be improved but overall a great product for the price.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking to build a little low noise, low cost router and are a Linux enthusiast, I can only recommend this thing. If available go for a complete passive build.

Pros: As advised elsewhere, I coupled this with Intel's "i3-2100t with the stock hsf". I would have used an SSD instead of a 7.2k drive but I was ticked at the recipient.

Using a freely acquired Rosewill Monitor Mount (RMS-MF2720), I mounted this to the back of a monitor (case had to be drilled for a couple 1/4"-20 bolts). This case - or its equivalent - will be in major use by myself going forward. Our work PCs do not need DVDs, large storage, video or expansion cards, etc.

My 'kill-a-watt' meter showed usage of about 25-35 watts during bootup and initial run time.

The external power supply is great. This keeps more heat out of the case.

Cons: The power insertion adapter had to be removed and reinstalled to insert the motherboard. That was trivial.

Other Thoughts: This is my first review. If 10 people find it useful, I may write another.

Other Thoughts: This WILL fit an i3-2100t with the stock hsf. It will NOT fit a regular i3-2100 without a ultra low profile fan.

I have a 5010 fan on the side, and managed to get the 2100t installed along with a 2.5" drive, just barely. The top of the fan hits the hdd. It's idling about 43c. Don't expect to fit a quad-core in this one.

Pros: Super compact.
Fanless Power supply.
Not sure how you could make it any smaller!
Clean shiny finish.

Cons: Power jack on side is a little awkward, but it obviously had to go that way since the case is so small

Other Thoughts: You'll probably need. Not much of one, but you'll need one to circulate some air as it's pretty cramped inside. A 50x50x10mm fan will fit but the several I tried tended to be noisy at full tilt. Try to get a motherboard where you can throttle the fan according to temperature needs.

With a fanless supermicro Atom D510 server motherboard I went from overheating with no fan to near room temp with a quiet 40x40.10mm fan. (Just hanging on by one screw- works fine!)

Pros: Heavy-duty construction, lots of screws(including for slim DVD/BD units and 2.5" HDD's) and self-adhesive legs(buttons) included, high efficiency power brick(Class IV, ~87%), made from real aluminum, precision build, no sharp edges.

Cons: Surface finishing, but is understandable, since it's targeted(mainly) for the server room, not for the living room. So don't expect Lian-Li quality finishing, it's more like industrial style - no reason to remove an egg.

Other Thoughts: Blue LED overload; one in the power button, and one on the internal DC/DC converter(connected to the +5V standby, permanent on); the HDD LED is red. The included power brick is rated for 12V/5A(60W) with universal(100-240V) input, the internal DC/DC converter is rated for 120W. Fan(not included) size is 50X50X10mm, HDD mounting plate is made of steel.
