5 out of 5 eggshow to improve air flow on this case

Pros: nice heavy aluminum. Acts like huge heat sink to extract heat from inside
nice low power efficient power supply included

Cons: no front audio or USB ports.

Other Thoughts: This case is a nice case. Very sturdy. Very heavy for aluminum. Weight of case keeps it in place so cables don't pull server off to the floor. Lots of vent on bottom of case. I recommend that every one gets some rubber feet and places tehm on the bottom of case to space it up. That opens up all the holes on the bottom of the case for large increase in air flow.
PLEASE THINK: if the case gets hot its doing its job. Extracing heat and transferring it to outside. My Casatunes factory server (cost $1300) was delivered to me in one of these cases. I ran it for weeks with no heating problems. I did notice when the case was hot the processor was at 50C . That's when I realized that touching the case and feeling it warm.. is a GOOD THING.. If you touch the case and it's cool, then the heat is staying inside the MB and processor. If the case is hot and the processore is rock steady at 50C where my my MB thermostat wanted it, then the hot case is simply the case doing it's job PROPERLY. just remember Cool Case = hot motherboard.
Hot Case = cool motherboard. To keep case cool? supply air to the outside of the case. Don't worry about inside. The heat is being extracted by the case as it should. remember COOL THE CASE. I used a laptop cooling fan underneath my case to cool it down. It's plugged into the USB port so it only runs when the computer is on. It has survived the hottest days

3 out of 5 eggsGreat design not enough air

Pros: Fits dead on to ITX board
Best construction I've ever seen in a case, the metal is crazy thick.
Included power supply works perfectly and is fanless
Nice mount for the SSD

Cons: Runs hot, the case doesn't have enough ventilation, while watching HD Movies the whole case acts more like a thermal pad, collecting all the heat. The case itself was warm to the touch and fan was running high.
Had to remove the top to create enough ventilation, still worked in my setup but unless you have a drill press and the interest to mod the top to add the needed ventilation probably not a good call.

Other Thoughts: Top cover needs way more ventilation, Top mount for the 2.5" HDD probably should be off to the side of the case in this position the drive is constantly blasted with heat from the CPU. Great construction and running without a top is fine so I'll probably buy more

3 out of 5 eggsnot correct

Pros: size of case, Aluminum construction is very nice.

Cons: power supply is not 120 W it's 60 w looked on Habey web site and they do not seem to have a 120 w version of this case. my system would just shut down not enough power. connected a 750 w ultra x4 power supply and it runs like a dream. even with a 36 mm heat sink and fan combo my ssd drive still does not fit under the optical drive bay.

Other Thoughts: will keep it for when they come out with an arm processor motherboard combo. or something similar from amd or intel.

5 out of 5 eggsExtremely Solid ITX Case

Pros: I was amazed at how well built this case really is. Honestly, I would trust it as a jack stand as I worked under my car. In addition it is silent, due to having no fans, and has a very nice external power supply. The unit also accommodates a slot loading DVD drive, which can be hard to find. If you cannot find one the good news is the white plastic cover comes off to make way for a regular slim DVD drive. It comes with the screws (tiny!) for the optical drive, so feel free to go OEM.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: If you're looking to make a silent ITX build, this case is an amazing start.

5 out of 5 eggsGot it, Built it, Loving it

Pros: This case is superbly well-crafted and very, very sturdy. It's a little bigger than I expected, but that turned out to be a blessing in disguise as mini-ITX builds are VERY cramped. Couldn't imagine doing this in the 600B/BL, which was my first option.

The machine is dead silent except under heavy load, when the single fan (attached to the Core i3-2120T CPU) spins up. And it's STILL faster than the Core 2 Quad Q8200 it replaced! With a slight undervolt, it sips even less power than normal. Overall I am very pleased with this case, and have wanted to build in a Habey chassis for over a year now.

Cons: The sleeved cable leading to the DC-in jack is a little fragile; mine came off, and is only held in by the power brick's input. This is really my fault, so no eggs off...though if anyone from Habey is reading this, you may want to make future revisions of this with a bracket or screw-on head like a coaxial cable. Also the white optical bezel spoils the otherwise solid black, matte industrial look, but this is nothing some paint can't fix.

Other Thoughts: My Build:

Core i3 2120T
8 GB GSkill Ripjaws DDR3-1333 (7-7-7-21 @ 1.5v)
ASRock B75MITX mini-ITX motherboard
Kingston SSDNow! 100v 64 GB SSD
Habey EMC-800BL case.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very small. Well made. Solid metal. Dvd tray insert to cover up the hole in front. No sure if this comes with the other models. Case is as wide and long as a mini itx board. There is a place to mount a small case fan if you desire. Manufacture email support is responsive.

Cons: No instructions. The only way i could figure out how to fit a 3.5 HDD into the case was to replace the stock CPU fan with a low profile one. Which i didn't do. I didn't attempt to install a slim dvd drive due to the fact that all my media is digital. I had a spare 2.5 drive that did the trick. LED lights are too bright. With it turned off, the blue power LED inside the case is so bright that we use it as a night light in our bedroom. The power button LED is bright also, but we keep the HTPC turned off when no in use. The case is a little expensive. No USB on the front.

Other Thoughts: This is a very good case if you plan to use a motherboard with all the media necessities imbedded. Don't plan to expand. I am using a Jetway with imbedded Radeon 4200 graphics and it pushing 1080p without any issues.
I installed windows from USB which was very painless to my surprise. Overall, i would recommend this case.

5 out of 5 eggsNice little box

Pros: Somewhat bland sedate and featureless but it's all good. Nice blue bright blue button when on and turns red when hard drive is active. Very thick aluminium construction sturdy you can stand on this thing, well I wouldn't. Good amount of vent holes very industrial minimal look to it with brushed metal look. The 120W DCDC internal power converter has enough power to run my HTPC setup.

Cons: The extra holes at the back for additional Com ports should of been blocked with some type of cover if not in use.

Other Thoughts: Using this for HTPC build and boy it is tight, once you route the wires it's very satisfying since it looks great and looks very solid. You should add a 50x10mm fan to ensure proper cooling, a 60x10 might fit if there is such a fan.
