5 out of 5 eggsMonolithic Monstrosity

Pros: -No external LEDs beside the 2 hard drive lights on top which you can just neglect to plug in to further the "giant black box" look.
-The material that the front of the case is made out of feels great to the touch for whatever reason.
-The case can fit 3 230mm fans in the case!
-Dust collectors are super easy to get to.

Cons: -The cables for the front fan don't reach a normal motherboard. A simple molex power extension cable fixes this.
-The large fan on top is sata power which means you'll need either a sata to molex converter cable or a fan controller.
-Hard drive bay is lacking

4 out of 5 eggsGood case for the price

Pros: A lot of room in the case. It is very easy to modify this case. You can easily disconnect the usb or audio port connections that are located on the top of the case. Tool less design for the hard drives and 5.25 devices. Comes with 3 good quality and quite fans. Cable management is very easy mostly due to the amount of room in the case.

Cons: The front fan on the case is blocked by the front panel with only 2 thin cut outs for airflow.

Other Thoughts: I was able to get this case for $99 on clearance. Can't go wrong. A lot of case for the price.

1 out of 5 eggsWarning... Case I/O Shorted at USB Header... Mfg Denied Liability...

Pros: 4 USB headers at I/O

Cons: There are a dozen cons on this case. But, let me start with my primary complaint. That is the USB connection at the case shorted and blew out the USB portion of my new Asus motherboard.
This is the note I sent the mfger: After removing the top and placing the front 230 fan on top. I started the machine only to have a pop and smoke come from the USB's at the I/O on top of the case. My guess is that in the process of removing the top and letting it hang over the side; one of the wires in one of the USB connections shorted out. Your case did not receive any unusual or unexpected handling. Therefor the fault is in the design and manufacturing.
The mfg responded: By leaving the top panel hanging on the case thus damaging the IO, this is not a manufacturing defect and is not covered under the warranty.
My response: The top was in place prior to booting the machine. Taking the top of to modify the fan placement is normal use. In as much as the manufacturer tied the cabling to the case; letting it hand was the natural approach. Make no mistake; this is a manufacture fault. And, you are liable.
Their response: Removing the top panel is indeed normal use, however like you mentioned, you had hung the the top panel by its cables, thus damaging the PCB and cables post manufacturing. If this was a manufacturing defect, we will gladly replace it however since the damage was not caused by manufacturing, it is not covered under our warranty.
I do not know how you would normally change a blowhole fan in a case where the lid has to be removed and the cabling is attached to the lid and also tied down to the case itself. You would have to think ahead and cut the ties to the case. What I did is expected user handling. And, the shorting due to minor lid movement is defective manufacture design.
Interestingly, I only asked for a new set of USB cables so I could replace them myself. They refused. Now it is principle, and I want the price of the case.
It is my belief that the design is defective. And, that that Bitenix simply makes it a point to deny any and all warranty claims. In the future I will not buy Bitenix products of any kind….

Other Thoughts: You need a minimum or two or thee 20 pin 3.0 headers on your motherboard to use this case. The cut outs were narrow and made routing cables tight. The air flow from the front fan was blocked by a solid case front.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Tower

Pros: Very large and sturdy XL Tower. Very close to Corsair Obsidian 800 in size, but at half the cost. Side panels are very strong, great finish with a nice soft touch finish to the top and front. Hugh fans for intake and exhaust from case. Modern, stylish, plain black with Shinobi crest on fron panel. Front panel has 4 3.0 USB ports and a quick charge port.

Cons: None for me
