5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: For the price, it's an amazing budget case.

Cons: Parts of the frame were bent, but I don't care.

5 out of 5 eggsEasily one of my favorite budget cases to work with!

Pros: I just rebuilt my HTPC with Athlon 64 X2 4400+ processor and Asus crossfire motherboard into this box and it was relatively easy to work with. This is extremely lightweight but roomy enough to fit even the largest of graphics card (looking at you, Nvidia GTX 690 or AMD Radeon 7990). I will end up using two Radeon 7750 for my Crossfire build.

Surprisingly for the quality of steel used in this case, this is extremely lightweight. I plan to put in 5 hard drives for my HTPC/light gaming rig and I don't want to drag around a 40 lb. rig to LAN party or movie nights with friends.

I recommend this case very much for any beginning builder or even advanced builder.

Cons: The thumbscrews to hold up the side panel weren't aligned very well and made it difficult to screw in and out (very tight). I can live with that however because most of the budget cases aren't even that good of quality.

Other Thoughts: Very stylish Bitfenix. I own a Prodigy case and am impressive by any Bitfenix case to be honest. Along with Fractal Design, I really dig your understated style.

Antec 900 is very good but dust collects up in that case like way too much. This case is much better than that.

4 out of 5 eggsnice case

Pros: Nice black look. Quiet large controllable fan. Cable organizers. Easy components mounting.

Cons: The plate which holds the motherboard is kinda flimsy, it bends back while I plugged the motherboard connectors.
The screws which hold the left side cover do not fully match the screw holes.

Other Thoughts: It's a PSU on the bottom type of case, but there were no dust filters for the PSU on the bottom wall. No big deal, I've just installed the PSU upside down.

5 out of 5 eggsBang for the Buck

Pros: Understated design, yet not boring. Lightweight, yet rigid. Construction quality is top-notch, plenty of space for large components, great cable management, plenty of expansion slots, places for 4-5 extra case fans, great airflow, I/O panel on top, PSU mounted on bottom, black fan and I/O cables to match case. Probably the best feature is the raised areas on the motherboard tray that allow you to forgo the normal standoffs, and the brass knob in the middle that will hold the mobo in place as you’re screwing it down. Genius.

Cons: Side panels are pretty thin, but not flimsy. Front 5.25” bay covers can pop out pretty easily, I wish they snapped in more securely. No dust filters, but at this price it’s hard to nitpick, considering all the higher-end features this case has.

Other Thoughts: Cable management helped greatly with my non-modular PSU, and there was an opening exactly wherever I needed one to route cables. GPU, CPU, and HDD temps stay below 40C at idle, and when I added a 120mm front intake fan, they dropped even lower. My machine stays silent, too – never exceeds a soft whoosh – even when the GPU ramps up to 60%.
My headphones jack has some buzz to it when playing games, but Bitfenix is in the process of replacing the I/O panel at no cost. They said it was a grounding issue.
In conclusion, I love this case, and I love Bitfenix. They’re a small company whose number one priority is builders’ needs. They responded pretty quickly to my email about the headphones jack.
Even this, their lowest-end case, comes with a ton of options and features that are often found in cases that cost twice as much or more.
