5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This case has been great... Holds everything I need and has the room to spare.... Fan space for cooling is awesome for what I use it for... And picking up there fan controller as well, it makes everything so much smoother... This is one of the quietest cases I have ever bought... and I have 6 fans running in it....

Cons: Plastic footings and attachments... find a better way to lock them in... after moving it a couple of times you can see that the hard plastic is cracking at the connection areas... When buying your cables for HDD, make sure you get 90 degree to 180 degree Data Cables.... if not it will pinch on the side panel... other then that...

Other Thoughts: Find a way to put something antistatic on the grill areas to keep it from getting so dusty....

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing case, great price

Pros: - Sleek and good looking

-Lots of sound-proofing

-Great airflow

Cons: -Not much really, see comments

Other Thoughts: I love this case. As my first custom computer build, I was recommended this case from a friend. It arrived in great packaging, and looks AWESOME. Very sleek, and sexy design. The bays are awesome in that theres no screws needed to mount HDDs, SSDs, Drives, ect. They just slide in and clip. A ton of room in the case for various things. I have a huge EVGA GTX780 ACX, and it fits great in there.

The ONLY problem I have with the case is this: It arrived and one of the top dust filter clips (You push down and it unclips so you can remove it) was broken on arrival. Not a big deal, it still goes on fine, but it was broken. Again. not a huge deal. Other than that this case is amazing for the price. Its not super flashy as the other cases, its all stealthy and awesome.

3 out of 5 eggsGood, but not Great

Pros: -Solid Case
-Door design is well thought out, can open on both sides
-Top interior is great for housing an AIO cooler and push/pull fan configuration
-Dust filters on every intake and top exhaust
-PSU dust filter is magnetic, so you don't have to reach behind the case to pull it out, just tilt the case to either the right or left and remove it, clean it, then put it back
-SATA Hotswap back enclosure on the top
-Black on both plastic and metal sides are the same, no differing levels of black
-One "removable" hard drive bay(see con)

Cons: -The whole exterior minus the bottom, side panels and back side of the case is plastic. It makes the case feel very cheap
-Cable management behind the motherboard is very tight, less then 1", closer to 0.5"
-You can remove one side of a hard drive bay, but airflow is still restrictive from what I can feel(tested both the stock Bitfenix fans and my Cougar fans), you'll want some very high SP fans for the front intake, overall airflow is VERY restrictive, my 2x7870's are starved for air so I have to take the front panel off to allow more airflow
-3xOptical bays(would have liked to see 2x MAX) and 1x3.5" floppy bay(who uses floppies anymore? Really?)
-Side panels suck, a lot
-Severe lack of tie-down points

Other Thoughts: I am pleased with this case, it has many great features like the top compartment for hot swap and also added space for water cooling in the top housing, but for $99 however, I personally believe you're better off getting a Define R4 on sale or a Arc XL/Arc Midi R2.

The almost non-existent cable management and lack of airflow is a big downside to me. The side panels are a complete pain to take off and put back on(especially if you have a lot of cables and you have little to none tie-down points) unless you lay it down and put your whole weight on it and push, but if you have a lot of cables your side panel is going to bend out.

Also, recently I had a run in with some *clicking* noises coming from my PC, I immediately thought it was my PSU fan dieing and was ready to go buy a fully modular Seasonic PSU to replace my current one(I want a new one anyway) and was going to RMA my Corsair PSU in, but after playing around with the case a bit, I found out that the clicking noise was coming from my optical drive and the case hitting together somehow.

I disconnected my optical drive but kept it in the 5.25" bay and the clicking continued, I ended up screwing a screw in on both sides and it has stopped clicking. My conclusion to this is that the hard drive bays are making it vibrate somehow(I have two hard drives and one SSD in the top bay), so be weary of this. Even with the auto-lock 5.25" bays the rattling progressed, so keep some screws around just in case you have the 5.25" bays occupied.

In conclusion, it's a great case if you get it on sale and don't have a lot of cables running through the back, but if you're going to pay the full retail price, there's better options out there.

4 out of 5 eggsGood case for the money

Pros: I recently built a new computer using the BitFenix Ghost and I'm overall very pleased with it. While it's not the greatest or most well thought-out case in the world, for the money it's a great buy. Some things I like about this case:

-Plenty of fan mounting locations including a radiator mounting location. Every build is unique so the flexibility in fan configuration is really nice to have. Even pushing my computer to the max with Prime95 and FurMark, all components stayed at very reasonable temperatures.

-Plenty of space on the top of the case to mount a radiator if you go with a liquid cooling option.

-Easily removable air filters for the fans.

-Front door direction can be swapped.

-Sound dampening material seems to work pretty well. During light operation, the fans are nearly inaudible, and even when push, the noise is quite muffled. While running all fans on high will certainly be noisy, this is much quieter than other builds I have done.

-Attractive. Seriously, this is a good looking case.

-Rubber grommets on the cutouts for passing cables through.

-Hot swap bay. I don't intend on using this myself, but it is nice to have the option. I'm currently using it to store random small items that I usually keep on the desk next to my computer.

-2 pre-installed Spectre fans are quiet. There are better performing fans on the market, but these are pretty good for stock fans.

Cons: -Flimsy door hinge clips. I broke both of them while switching the front door direction. This doesn't affect the front door operation too much, though.

-Lack of cable tie-down points behind the motherboard. They're few and far between. I bought some sticky-backed zip tie anchors from Home Depot to make up for this.

-Tight space behind motherboard. It's not so tight that it's useless, but a few more mm of room would have been nice. Fitting the 24 pin cable was a little bit of a challenge, but nothing a few zip ties and zip tie anchors couldn't fix. Fitting all the cables nicely behind the motherboard requires some moderate cable management skills and liberal application of zip ties.

-Frustrating installation of side panels. These are the older style of side panels that slide into place and can be difficult to properly install at times. Would have liked to see a different design here.

-Manual leaves much to be desired. Little-to-no text and pictures that aren't always clear. Could be slightly confusing for those new to computer building. If you're experienced with computer builds, everything is pretty straightforward.

Other Thoughts: My build:
-BitFenix Ghost Case
-Corsair CX600 PSU
-Gigabyte H87M-D3H motherboard
-Intel 4570 CPU
-CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Plus CPU cooler
-Gigabyte GTX770 OC edition GPU
-G.SKILL RipjawsX F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM
-Corsair AF140 (additional fan added at the bottom of the case to feed cool air to that huge GPU)

1 out of 5 eggsUpdate to my first bitfenix ghost rev

Pros: Nice case but one major problem. Read in Cons.

Cons: The top usb 3 and 2 ports are trouble. The usb3 does not work at all or on a cross you finger bases. I just discovered this when I tried to connect a usb3 external HDD and/or the usb3 jump drive I purchased here. Trouble trouble trouble?

Other Thoughts: If you go to there website and enter the forums you will see this is a big issue Bitfenix knows but has not addressed. If you don't need the usb3 then do not connected it. I doubt newegg will offer a replacement case.

5 out of 5 eggsWhat a Sexy Beast

Pros: - Tons of airflow
- Very attractive
- Ability to flip the side the hinges for the front panel
- Storage compartment on top is very nice
- Does exactly what I need it to do

Cons: Only gripe I have so far is so minor I feel bad even mentioning it...but the jacks on top of the case for headphones/microphone feel a little stiff/sticky when plugging in my headset.

Other Thoughts: For those who appreciate understated style when it comes to their computer case, while still seeking more than just your typical black/beige box...this case is for you. It's very slick, without all of the lights, panels, and gaudy edges that most cases have. I feel like the pictures and video don't really do it justice...seeing this thing up close and personal, it's a thing of beauty.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case, Quiet and Cool

Pros: All the pros mentioned by others.
Runs cool on large 7 x 3TB array.
Very quiet, and the reversible front door is great.
After 9 months still love it.

Cons: Only shipped with 3 trays for 3.5 inch HDDs.

I needed 7; however, the company didn't list them for sale despite the user manual indicating that the upper cage wall could be moved to accommodate 3.5 inch drives... which it very easily did.

Other Thoughts: End result: With a slight mod to house my 2.5 inch SSD below the cages, and a $20 order for 4 more 3.5 inch cages directly from Bitfenix in Taiwan, I have (7) 3.5" inch WD Red drives running inside this case and they're cool as a cucumber here in the hot Las Vegas summer. (Inside room temps sometimes up to 90F but no hot drive temps. Helps with cooling that drives are mounted sideways.)
