4 out of 5 eggsGreat case, some minor QA issues

Pros: -Tactile and good looking finish
-Usability. Things are in the right spot, and there's loads of room for things.
-Good tool-less features.
-Good cable control
-Looks :)
-Solid construction (mostly, see cons)

Cons: -QA issues?

I bought this case for a custom loop water cooled system. It shipped last night, and I gave it the once over, tore things apart, and inspected everything. The case should do pretty nicely, but there were some issues. The bottom right side panel was dented in, and the screw will not go straight into the case, it goes in at an angle due to the metal damage. It looks like someone dropped it on the thumb screw before shipping. Not the biggest deal, as I can probably pound it straight with cloth and a hammer, but that was frustrating to see it sitting lopsided and dented.

Another con was the cheap plastic on the push-in fasteners on the shroud. They're designed to be reversible, so push in, pull out. However, when I pulled one of them out it immediately snapped half of it off. The plastic seemed too brittle for a fastener of that type (I suppose getting knocked too hard in shipping could have weakened or already broke it). Again, not enough for me to RMA it since I won't be using the shroud anyway.

There were also a few scratches on the finish in the metal parts, specifically the upper rear portion of the mobo-side panel, and the rear of the chassis. These were small scratches, but they could not have happened in shipping, as they were underneath the foam packaging. Again, not a big deal since this will be a personal system.

Most of these are fairly nit-picky, but definitely enough to knock an egg off. The scratch and fasteners were only annoying, but the damage to the screw area is unacceptable.

Other Thoughts: Overall, I'm excited to get this (my personal gaming) system inside this case and running on a custom loop. The case is beautiful and well built, and has plenty of room (although I think the radiator up top will be a *wee* bit cramped). The soft finish is gorgeous and feels great to tough, although I'm hesitant to touch it without gloves, as the grease on bare skin will probably mark it.

I was disappointed with some of the minor damage to the case, and the shroud fastener brittleness. Assuming you get a case that wasn't damaged like mine, and you're lucky enough to not have a fastener snap off, this case would be near flawless. I've read other reviews about the fans being weak, but I threw those out first thing, so I couldn't say...

All in all, fantastic case. I would have had to RMA the one I got if it were a show build or for someone not close to me, but it's just my personal system so it's not worth the hassle.

5 out of 5 eggsBitFenix Ronin

Pros: Feels VERY sturdy.
Has nice soft touch treatment to the plastics
LOTS of room.
Many fan options.
4xUSB 2x3.0 and 2x2.0
Overall is very nice and high quality for the price tag.

Cons: Some of the punched holes on the back of the motherboard tray are a little sharp and might tear some cable sleeves if not careful.

Other Thoughts: If you want a nice, modern looking case, Can't go wrong.

5 out of 5 eggsBitFenix Ronin

Pros: Extremely high quality built ATX Mid tower case, smooth look with fantastic functionality. SSD adaptation built into the cages saves you money on buying a bracket it's self to fit in the bays. Cable management great, lots of room to tuck cables behind the motherboard. The stealth panel covers unwatned wires, however it's removable so if you want, you can reveal all of the inner compnents via side panel. Air flow is great, water cooling fits perfectly in the top, plenty of room to crossfire, and plenty of room to install lights for any visual improvements. Also modular bays to increase airflow and remove unwanted bays.

Cons: No major cons as of now, stealth cover could have been utilized in a better way to blend in more, as making it a snap on outer shell rather than lying underneath the glass. Doesn't turn down any of the great values of the case.

Other Thoughts: Stealth cover redesign in a possible future case for greater visual effects.

4 out of 5 eggsI am very pleased with this case

Pros: -Great simple look
-Easy to pull apart to setup/cabling
The only thing I was worried about when I purchased this case was if I was going to be able to setup my push pull H100 on the top of the case. If anyone else is looking to do this same I was successful in this and it was very easy to put in. I am using the Asus Sabertooth x79 2011 socket board and there is room to put the radiator, with fans pushing, in the case with the pull fans in the top cover.

Also this will be a very tight fit if you are trying to put more than 2 gpu's in for SLI/Crossfire. It a perfect fit with just two cards in, anymore would be too much.

Cons: The only con I have are the fans like everyone else states. I do not want MORE fans, the two that it comes with is more than plenty, but fans with more CFM's would be nice.
The reason I say the amount of fans that come with it is enough is that the one fan up front is all you need. If you pull the HDD racks out, no one uses more than 3 anyways, you have a direct fan to your gpu. The bottom fan would just be blocked buy your HDD's, they should not be running so hot that you need a fan on them.

Other Thoughts: I was going to go with the Shinobi at first back in May but I waited a little and this little guy came out. I am very happy with my purchase as well as Bitfenix.

4 out of 5 eggsEnjoy it.

Pros: This case is slick. I love the soft touch finish and the side window with the stealth cover is awesome. I really like the multi-layer look. The case feels well built, not creaky or flimsy. Had no issues with cable management. Like others mention it would be nice to have grommets for a little better concealment.

The middle 3.5" drive cage being removable is great, allows for direct airflow to the graphics card. The included dust filters are nice. Case feet have great clearance for sitting on a hard surface. I wouldn't recommend on a rug, unless very short.

Cons: My main con for this case is that it is certain parts were not measured well. Due to there not being very much clearance for the top fans. I was not able to run a push/pull configuration on my H100i with a Sabertooth board. I read a review when I purchased this saying that it could be done. Which it could if you don't have a large shroud around the VRM on your MoBo. It was about a centimeter to tight. Also the back of my optical drive does push against the tubing of my H100i. So everything is a bit tight.

The bottom mounted fan was not usable either with my PSU. Both PSU and Fan did fit, although I had no room to plug in my modular cables. A few of the post mounts had paint in them not allowing finger threading of the the posts.

These minor issues are pretty irritating since I had $30 of fans that were unusable. Also I was left with negative pressure inside my chassis.

Other Thoughts: I really do enjoy this case, It looks sharp. It would be awesome if Bitfenix adjusted the dimensions a little. I was able to lay sound dampening foam on the inside of the stealth cover, and back panel easily.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat case

Pros: - great looking case
- sturdy side panels
- spectre fans are always a plus
- stealth panel is great
- hdd/sdd drive sleds are a great design
- decent cable management
- honestly, these are also the easiest to turn thumbscrews ive ever seen on a case

Cons: - TO ANYONE THAT DOES BUY THIS: buy some extra fans. you cannot run a system in here without better airflow. remove a drive cage if you can too, will go a long way. i filled every spot with more spectre fans and its doing great, but thats like another $40 for fans.
- drive locking system for the 5.25" bays is kinda lacking. I actually have a recon controller I put in but i actually cant properly secure it in the bay at all. I'm not running an optical drive at the moment so I cant attest to that working well or not.
- at this price, rubber grommets wouldve been nice around the cable management slots.
- definitely couldve done well with a few more millimeters of room for cable management.

Other Thoughts: this case really is a good case. my only complaints were nit-picky things that could definitely be improved upon. but it really is a good case for the price point.

3 out of 5 eggsAwesome, but...

Pros: Sleek looking case.
Really like the Stealth Cover.
Not too big, but enough room to fit every thing snug.
Nice cable management

Cons: When plugging in the front I/O USB's, I keep getting a "USB Device Over Current Status Detected" and it shuts down after 15 seconds. This is my first build so I'm not sure if the case is the actual problem, but once unplugged it boots up just fine. I'm gonna contact BitFenix directly and see if they have any suggestions. If it can be fixed or replaced, then I will adjust the score to 5 stars.

Other Thoughts: I really like this case, and I hope I can figure out the USB Over Current problem. Airflow seems good, but I don't know how to properly measure it. Overall, its a very nice case.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Love the look of this case...enough said.

Cons: Only comes with 2 fans. One side of the panel was dented due to delivery handling or perhaps poor packaging. Called them and gave me a RMA label. Will ship it back for replacement.

4 out of 5 eggsRonin

Pros: It's a real slick looking case with a big window and the stealth cover kind of makes up for the lack of rubber grommets. It has usb 3.0 and hd audio. It has dust filters for all of the intake fans and the psu. Also for those of you looking at water cooling options, there was enough room in the top of the case to have a push/pull configuration on the radiator of my h100i. All around it's a well designed case and if you purchase enough fans to fill it up, it has great airflow.

Cons: The packaging is terrible, it consists of the cheapest styrofoam one could possibly find so I knocked of an egg for it. Also, even though there is a stealth cover, if you look in the case at the right angle the lack of grommets displays my awful cable management skills, which kind of stinks but it's not really a big deal because it's a result of my impatience.

Other Thoughts: Overall I'm really pleased with this product, but that I have a feeling the cheap packaging may result in some RMA's.
