5 out of 5 eggsBeautiful and simple

Pros: Full size power supply, USB 3.0, "full size" video card (not slimline but still short)

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Sleek, simple and beautiful. I love this case. Using it for a homemade Steambox.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat looking case

Pros: I really like the look of this case. It's sturdy and it accepts standard sized ATX power supplies, which often last longer than the small form factor power supplies. It also accepts a full height card in my motherboard's PCI-e slot. (but the card cant be too long)

Cons: The two full-height slot openings in the rear of the case have no lock/mount at the bottom for the bracket to slide into. In other words, there is nothing to prevent you from pushing and bending the bracket in with a touch of your finger. Only a card placed into the PCI-e slot will be solid, while anything placed the other slot opening will be loose and moved easily.

5 out of 5 eggsSmall and well designed

Pros: Very well designed case, very smart compromises. Extremely good looking case as well.

Cons: Sharp edges, actually cut my hands a few times putting this one together. But I didn't deduct a star but they could round them off a little.

But I almost deducted 4 stars for an incredibly obnoxious bright white sticker plastered on the back of the case. What an eyesore. It took me a bout 5 minutes to remove completely, it sure was stuck on the case well. If you buy this case make sure you have some 'Goo Gone' or something similar to remove it.

Other Thoughts: For such a small case it definitely holds more than I thought it would. Looked at buying another Shuttle and looked at buying a small Lian-Li case but I ended up choosing this one as the best of both worlds.

Glad I did.

4 out of 5 eggsSexy little case

Pros: Well built
Well thought out minimalism

Cons: Sharp edges

Other Thoughts: I'm buying more of these guys cases JUST to have. Such a small case there isn't much to say.... other than I would easily pay twice as much for this case.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat case but it has very sharp edges

Pros: - Clean minimalist design
- Aluminum
- Simple internals
- Rubber hd standoffs
- Regular size power supply
- No optical

Cons: - Very sharp

Other Thoughts: This might be the nicest < $100 mini-itx case on newegg at the moment (Dec 2013) but it is very sharp.

This can be fixed by taking it apart and deburring the outside facing sharp edges.

5 out of 5 eggsWell designed tiny case

Pros: -This is a great looking case for many different applications. As other reviews have said you can use it for a classy looking htpc, a budget desktop / linuxbox, or a powerful mini gamer.

-The finish on mine came with no flaws although the exhaust mesh by the I/o shield was dented from shipping it bent right back in place.

-There is plenty of room in this thing if you plan out what you want to fit in it. I will expand on this in the "other thoughts."

- It's a sexy little case

Cons: -Heat can be an issue if you don't plan your build right.
- A tiny flaw but the sticker on the back of the case is a pain to get off.
- For those that say "can't fit 'x" gfx card..would be great if it could etc etc" this case is tiny and is not meant for that application.
- Cable management needs to be well thought out. You don't need modular. Will it help with airflow? Sure maybe 1c-2c but not worth the extra $40-$60 you'll put into it.

Other Thoughts: Parts:
i3 3220 (stock cooler), Asrock H77ITX, EVGA 650ti SSC 2GB, 8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600, 120 OCZ Vertex 3, 120 ADATA SSD, 500GB WD Mechanical HDD, Corsair CX 430w Bronze, and a 120mm Scythe at the bottom of the case.

I was able to fit 2 ssds, a 500GB HDD, and a 120 mm bottom intake in this case w/ high profiled ram and a non modular PSU. I used some old "feet" off another case that I never used to elevate the case so the bottom fan could suck the cool air from underneath and push it into the 650ti and the help push out the hot air from the stock cooler on the i3 3220.

Temps on avg ambient of ~26c
CPU / GPU on idle: 45c / 38c (my cores run hot/cold around 8c difference between the two so the avg could be less on a different chip)
CPU / GPU gaming on skyrim/bf3: 55c / 68c
CPU / GPU encoding: 68c (max) / 40c

If I kick the scythe 120mm at the bottom on I get about 3c-5c less on the temps.

For more info and pics of the DIY3+ you can search for Jonsbo cases on the web. All the different models are on there and maybe Newegg will get some MORE of them because they look amazing for the minimalist crowd.

**Hey Newegg! Can yall add some kind of "preview" button so users that submit reviews can see their whole thought process and the format it will appear on the site? I know this review could be better if I could see the whole picture!***

4 out of 5 eggsIt's really small!

Pros: It's really small!

This case takes up very little space and really does allow you to use a full-size ATX power supply.

I would buy this again if I need/want to build another really small mini-ITX system.

Cons: It's really small!

This case is made of anodized aluminum, so it's a little more flexible than I'm used to. Not a major issue for me.

You can use an ATX power supply, but at least in my build, the power supply cables took up most of the available "empty" space. Everything fit, but not easily. I would strongly recommend a real modular power supply instead of the Corsair "semi-modular" TX750M that I used.

System gets a little warm when running benchmarks; there is no case fan and nowhere to mount one inside.

Other Thoughts: Built this system:
- DIYPC V3Plus-B Black Aluminum Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case
- GIGABYTE GA-Z87N-WIFI LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard
- Intel Core i7-4770K Haswell 3.5GHz LGA 1150 84W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics BX80646I74770K
- G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 1600 Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL
- ASUS GTX670-DCMOC-2GD5 GeForce GTX 670 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready SLI Support Mini
- CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX750M 750W ATX12V v2.31 / EPS12V v2.92 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Semi Modular
- Samsung 840 EVO 2.5" TLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) | MZ-7TE250BW

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent case

Pros: Excellent design - well thought out and high quality

Very slick - one of the best looking ITX cases you can buy

Cons: You might have to get someone with small hands to get at motherboard screws/other components

USB3 cable from the front panel has an enormous connector (about 2cm tall). I had to buy a low profile header extension because I couldn't fit it underneath my cpu cooler

Other Thoughts: This is a wonderful case. I wish they had the stainless steel version in stock. I didn't experience any problems that aren't present in other ITX builds (space considerations).

Note, though, that the design doesn't include any fans. It relies on the psu to pull air out of the system. The psu is mounted directly opposite the motherboard so you may run into issues with the height of aftermarket cooling. Most slim or low clearance coolers should be fine, however.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case!

Pros: High quality build, easy to find and put in a much cheaper but yet higher quality power supply (Invert cpu fan and the P/S fan will suck out the hot air and keep the rest of the case cool. High value per buck. Low power system build design

Cons: Hard to mount additional fans for cooling

Other Thoughts: This is a great buy for what you get and works perfectly for what I need it for. I have a Llano CPU with a Radeon 6770 for a bedroom machine which turned out to perform much better then I expected,

4 out of 5 eggsBig on options, little on size

Pros: -Small. This reminds me of the old Mac cube; only this one is black and made completely out of aluminum.
-Expandable. Fits an 180mm video card, a 3.5" hard drive, and a 2.5" hard drive. Not too many ITX cases can say that. While it would've been nice to have a drive bay for even a slim optical drive, I can't say I miss it.
-USB 3.0 leads. Not too many ITX cases out there with USB 3.0 right now.

Cons: -Cramped. You have to take the power supply out if you want to work on anything inside. Not a big deal.
-Must be kept in a cool place. Air circulation isn't great, even with the vents that are all over this case. Can't just shove this case into a tv stand without adding fans.

Other Thoughts: Does what I need it to do. I may invest in some 120mm fans to stick into the tv stand so as to keep the system hidden and quiet during load.
