2 out of 5 eggsNot good for top mounted radiator

This review is from: DIYPC Skyline-07-G Black/Green SECC ATX Full Tower Gaming USB 3.0 Computer Case w/ 7 x 120mm Green fans

Pros: Side panels are easy to remove via thumb screws. Hard drive bays are simple to take out and mount.

Cons: It can fit a full ATX motherboard but at a cost, the board will cover up most of the back panel holes for wiring.

It is possible to mount a dual fan radiator in the top of this case but you must remove the top plastic cover to access the space for it. Even then there are no marked holes for the screws so you have to improvise and mount the fans to the radiator, through the metal grate.

Lots of extra wiring for the fans/controls but it's the price you pay for good air flow.

Other Thoughts: Case would be well suited for smaller, mid-sized motherboards. Also a single radiator or air cooler for the cpu would mount and fit much easier.

2 out of 5 eggsA case that doesn't "blow" (get it? you will)

This review is from: DIYPC Skyline-07-G Black/Green SECC ATX Full Tower Gaming USB 3.0 Computer Case w/ 7 x 120mm Green fans

Pros: Looks cools, easily fits larger video cards. built in fan controller and HDD/SSD hot swap.

Cons: All 7 fans included don't push any air, at all. +4 C compared to the my old case. You would be better with 2 or 3 good fans over what is in the case. I'm planning to replace/remove every fan. The case is kind of hard to take apart to reach the front and top fan mounting areas. No instructions, had to unplug everything and set it up the right way before i could even start putting components in.

Other Thoughts: Don't be fooled by a low price and 7 fans. Buy a case with better stock fans or expect to buy better fans along side this case.

3 out of 5 eggsNeat Case, but cheaply made

This review is from: DIYPC Skyline-07-G Black/Green SECC ATX Full Tower Gaming USB 3.0 Computer Case w/ 7 x 120mm Green fans

Pros: The case is beautiful. Green LED's all over, there are 2 dust filters, which I never thought would be a good thing, but it definitely makes life easier. It has 3 hard-drive bays and 3 disk drives. Spacious Interior, though I'm having second thoughts on if a water cooling system will fit. Nice top control panel.

Cons: The top drive bay, hits wires that stem off of the controls and ports of the power panel on the top, really have to squeeze it in there.
The connectors for the fan power are extremely cheap, they broke the first time I connected it to the power supply, pulled the pins right out...
The grate on the front popped out after moving it around, I guess I pushed on it too hard, but I really thought it would have been stronger

Other Thoughts: Would not spend have spent as much as I had on this thing now knowing what its like. Its good, but be prepared to deal with miniscule problems.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it - Moved AMD FX build into for water cooling

This review is from: DIYPC Skyline-07-G Black/Green SECC ATX Full Tower Gaming USB 3.0 Computer Case w/ 7 x 120mm Green fans

Pros: 1) Not a razor case, edges are rolled. Cut three fingers getting parts out of old case

2) I have a Corsair H100i GTX water cooling kit mounted in top, fans are above radiator in top of case where there is a screened vent

3) Case is setup to install a PSU facing up or down.Bottom of case is open to allow air to be pulled in or blow out.

4) good spacing behind mobo panel to allow routing wires behind easily.

5) Tool less case (excluding using screwdriver to screw drives to drive sleds).

6) Case has removable cleanable air filters on top, front, and bottom.

Cons: Needs to come with more drive sleds or come with a p/n and web address to order more sleds

Other Thoughts: Would be nice if mobo was designed to be mounted a little lower to allow mounting of pusher fans inside case

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case but one major issue

This review is from: DIYPC Skyline-07-G Black/Green SECC ATX Full Tower Gaming USB 3.0 Computer Case w/ 7 x 120mm Green fans

Pros: This case is a quality build with great features. My build consists of the following:
2 x Seagate ST6000NM0024 6TB 7200 RPM 128MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Enterprise Hard Drive
1 x LG Black 16x Blu-Ray BDXL SATA Internal rewriter Model BH16NS40
G.SKILL Sniper Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) Memory Model F3-2400C11Q-32GSR
Rosewill Photon-1200 Power Supply
EVGA 04G-P4-3978-KR GeForce GTX 970 Video Card
Noctua NH-D14 120mm & 140mm SSO CPU Cooler
AMD FX-8350 Processor
ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 Motherboard
SAMSUNG 850 EVO MZ-75E1T0B/AM (SSD)
ICY DOCK MB990SP-B Dual Bay 2.5" to 3.5" SSD Bracket / Adapter
All of this fit. I had to remove one of the side panel fans to accommodate the CPU Cooler.

Cons: This is the big issue I'm having. I purchased the SSD and one of the two 6tb drives last. So, I had (1) 6tb drive and (2) 2tb drives already installed. When I went to install the last two hard drives I realized that this case only came with three (3) hard drive brackets or sleds or whatever they are called. This means that unless I can obtain two additional drive bay brackets, I cannot place two of my hard drives back into the case. At this point I've come way to far to go back and am kind of stuck with the current case. So, if you have 5 hard drives, you won't be able to use them in this case unless you obtain the two missing brackets. I even thought about purchasing another case just to take the two missing brackets from it to use in my case, but it would have to come down in cost to justify this.

3 out of 5 eggsA fairly good case

This review is from: DIYPC Skyline-07-G Black/Green SECC ATX Full Tower Gaming USB 3.0 Computer Case w/ 7 x 120mm Green fans

Pros: Lots of room and a lot of fans. 2x USB3 & 2x USB 2 front top panel Hot swap SATA port on outside of case. Air filters are nice too.

Cons: Only so-so for cable management. It can be done, but you will have to work at it. Fan control is completely useless and pointless. You will pretty much need to be an electrical engineer to actually make the fan controls work, but who care - we know we want them running on full all the time anyway, so just use the Molex connectors and skip the fan control headache.

3 out of 5 eggsskyline-07

This review is from: DIYPC Skyline-07-G Black/Green SECC ATX Full Tower Gaming USB 3.0 Computer Case w/ 7 x 120mm Green fans

Pros: great looks, ,lots of room for wire management, wiring has both types of power connectors for cooling, two of each usb 2 and 3 on top is fantastic

Cons: not enough space for Kraken x41 liquid cooler with 140 mm fan attached, barely enough to mount on upper vent area, with rad below and 120 mm fan above , had to eliminate upper filter , wiring guide pretty vague , hot swap on top is a real dust catcher,

Other Thoughts: had to use 120 mm instead of 140 mm fan under the top lid which eliminated the top filter, needed to buy top of line 120mm fan here on newegg to compensate for the reduced size, with nicely tagged wires it was pretty easy to connect, i don't really see the need for the fan controls because the fans are so quiet why would you want to slow or turn them off anyway

3 out of 5 eggsreal big box

This review is from: DIYPC Skyline-07-G Black/Green SECC ATX Full Tower Gaming USB 3.0 Computer Case w/ 7 x 120mm Green fans

Pros: lots of pretty fans. lots of room for drives and other things.

Cons: 3.5 hard dive bays x5 only includes 3 tool less hard drive sleds. where do i find the other 2 tool less drive caddies for this. TOTAL DEAL BREAKER. should be listed as huge box with 3.5 bays x3 instead of 5.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Looking

This review is from: DIYPC Skyline-07-G Black/Green SECC ATX Full Tower Gaming USB 3.0 Computer Case w/ 7 x 120mm Green fans

Pros: Great looking, plenty of fans, and quite

Cons: Not as much room as my old Cooler Master. Not as easy to install equipment has other Full cases.

Other Thoughts: As stated by others there are no instructions but not really that hard to figure out either. One major issue I have is the space inside the case. My old cooler master case always had lots of room and easily able to hide cables. This one case does not. There is also no space to replace your CPU fan easily from behind if a bracket is needed, like some other cases have. I should have just spent more money on another case I liked but this one just looked to cool, plus I like green.
