4 out of 5 eggsExactly what I needed, Some assembly required!

This review is from: DIYPC Skyline-07-G Black/Green SECC ATX Full Tower Gaming USB 3.0 Computer Case w/ 7 x 120mm Green fans

Pros: -Quality Material
-LED Fans are quiet
-Controllable speeds for fans and light level

Cons: -Light level and fan speed are tied together; Lower one, and the other is lowered as well.

Other Thoughts: You do have to make some minor adjustments for your build as needed, such as popping out a slot for an optical drive. The plastic tabs for the HDD bays sometimes don't line up exactly, but when they do, lock in real well.

The side of the case without the fans has ample room for cable sorting, along with little loops in the metal protruding to slip cable ties in for organisation. All in all, a very good purchase.

2 out of 5 eggsStay Away!

This review is from: DIYPC Skyline-07-G Black/Green SECC ATX Full Tower Gaming USB 3.0 Computer Case w/ 7 x 120mm Green fans

Pros: Now that I have everything set-up, its actually pretty good. The LED's look nice, it matches my keyboard and mouse, and it had plenty of room to fit my R9 390.

Cons: When I opened this case, I was met with a mass of wires. That wasn't an issue, but when I went through all the wires, I found that the power plug for the 7 fans had a wire loose. Thankfully, this power plug was meant to be linked to more fans if for some reason you wanted more than 7, so I re-soldered the wire to back of the plug, but then another one of the wires popped out so I had to re-solder that too. Thankfully, my solution worked. Something else I noticed is that not all four of the stubs that touch the ground were touching the ground, so the case was free to wobble back and forth. When I went to put in my motherboard, there were only six screws for the 9 standoffs, and the screws didn't even fit the standoffs, so I had to take the standoffs from my old case and put them in this one. There are bolts for the hard drives, but I don't trust them so I just used screws instead.

Other Thoughts: I do not recommend this case. Just cough up the extra dollars for a quality case from Corsair. If you want to save money on your computer, don't do it on your case.

1 out of 5 eggsSkyline 07-G green

This review is from: DIYPC Skyline-07-G Black/Green SECC ATX Full Tower Gaming USB 3.0 Computer Case w/ 7 x 120mm Green fans

Pros: The case looks good

Cons: The case was listed as a full size tower. It is not! The dimensions lied and added an inch on all fields. The case was listed at 19 pounds, which is also a lie. It is maybe 8 pounds. I was not able to do the water cooling plan I had envisioned

Other Thoughts: I would love this case if I were looking for a mid-sized case but I am not

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: DIYPC Skyline-07-G Black/Green SECC ATX Full Tower Gaming USB 3.0 Computer Case w/ 7 x 120mm Green fans

Pros: Pretty nice looking case, big on the inside, had no problems putting in my 970, owned this for about a week, no problems from what i see at the moment

Cons: I dislike the usb 3.0 that are by my power button due to the issue with lack of support from my motherboard so I can't use those 2 usb slots. There is no instructions at all for the case. I had troubles with the fan because I did not realize the power connector was wedged behind the HD slots.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for gaming

This review is from: DIYPC Skyline-07-G Black/Green SECC ATX Full Tower Gaming USB 3.0 Computer Case w/ 7 x 120mm Green fans

Pros: - Look : RGB, as you want, and it looks way better when you have it than on the pictures. Have a look at the review of this case made by newegg on youtube if you have any doubt. I wanted to try green for personal preferences and because I already have an Antec Twelve Hundred v3, which is blue.

- Room : Fits almost anything, great for cable management. Easy to install SSD and HDD.

- Dust : The two filters and the covering of fan related parts makes it hard for the dust to settle in. Just easily remove the dust filters from time to time and everything should be fine.

- Front panel : has everything you need, even a hotswap that I am never going to use

Cons: - Plastic parts : Most of it is made out of plastic, even the clips to hold it all together. It is very easy to access, but also easy for it to fall apart in the future. I will update it if I have any trouble with that.

- Front panel : This is the part everyone talks about so let's get to it. There are a lot of cables coming out of it, down to the optical bays. I do not recommend using the top one (there are 3 of them) just because it would push the cables and make it harder to pop out the top if needed. Since everything is turned upwards, dust can settle in your usb, audio, ... Just make sure you do not leave your computer for 2 years without cleaning it.

Other Thoughts: Overall, this is an awesome looking case with plenty of room and features that would cost you at $100 more from other manufacturers.

I personally love having a side window, and there isn't in this case. But anyway, you are the only one that needs to know how great you made it !

Concerning your CPU fan, I highly recommend using a water-cooling system instead of a classic EVO. It fits in a 512 but almost scratch the side. Add that to the two side fans that you have to plug back in when you work on your computer and it can be a little bit tricky.

My rig :

Asus z97A
I5-4690k
MSI GTX 970 100ME (green, how cool is that !)
Corsair h55 quiet edition
SSD,HDD,PSU, optical drive of course but no need to know all the details

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

This review is from: DIYPC Skyline-07-G Black/Green SECC ATX Full Tower Gaming USB 3.0 Computer Case w/ 7 x 120mm Green fans

Pros: Added three more fans, changed top two fans added lighted ones above my cpu cooler, kept the original for a push-pull arrangement. Added another in front of the PSU, I overclock everything this case stays very cool. Pulled the filter from the bottom cut it in half put it on top of the bottom fan stays reasonably clean. I love the hot swap feature, right now I have a 480 GB SSD in it, but I pull it when friends bring theirs, so very convenient!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I'm running 2x R9 380 NITRO'S in Crossfire, with water cooled CPU, this case stays within 20 degrees C of ambient temp without any problem, and my CPU never goes above 55 C when gaming and I push it hard hard!!

4 out of 5 eggsIts alright

This review is from: DIYPC Skyline-07-G Black/Green SECC ATX Full Tower Gaming USB 3.0 Computer Case w/ 7 x 120mm Green fans

Pros: -Cheap
-Can fit most everything
-Hot swap bay
-Fairly solid (Drag it out to LANs weekly)
-Decent airflow
-Okay radiator support for most AIOs

Cons: -Cheaply made
-No window (con for me)
-Not much rear panel space (Ended up cramming my cables in)
-One of the front 5.25 covers were broken on arrival

Other Thoughts: I ended up cutting a hole in the side and putting a window in as well as cutting out the hard drive bays to improve airflow. After the modifications the case works great for me and im still using it today.
