4 out of 5 eggsenjoyable

This review is from: DIYPC Skyline-07-R Black SECC ATX Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with 7 x 120mm Red Fans, Hot Swap Docking, Fan Controller

Pros: I really enjoy the cable management, all my cables are hidden except for when they connect, providing ample air flow. This case is a major upgrade for me, old tower was a xclio windtunnel.

Cons: the top side fan needed to be relocated because it did not work with my zalman 135 cpu cooler even though the spec's say "
Support up to 165mm CPU cooler" but with the top side fan relocated the cpu cooler does fit.
The some of the HDD Chassis do not secure as designed into their bays properly, I believe it has to do with the quality of plastic they use, a minor issue but no deal breaker.

Other Thoughts: I would highly recommend this product to other people. I enjoy having all my usbs, and power management at the top so i dont have to bend over or open a door.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Budget ATX Full Tower

This review is from: DIYPC Skyline-07-R Black SECC ATX Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with 7 x 120mm Red Fans, Hot Swap Docking, Fan Controller

Pros: * Big lots of room
* Over 1" behind tray for cable management and has tie down locations
* Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo fits if you remove the top fan on the side panel
* 7 pre-installed fans THAT ARE REMOVABLE (seen reviews say they cant be removed and that is just not true as there is screws holding them all in)
* 7 internal 3.5" bays (6 are the quick trays 1 on not)
* 6 hdd trays can install 2.5" drives
* can install a fan in the floor between psu and hdd (i moved the top fan from the side panel to the floor to make room for my cpu cooler)
* Overall very good construction (better built than my old thermaltake V3 case)
* built in hot swap on top ( for this to work your motherboard bios must have an option to make ports external )
* built in fan controller (only LOW/OFF/HIGH ; not very fancy but it works with no problems and is all i need)
* front usb 2 and usb 3
* front hd audio
* removable top and bottom fan filters

Cons: * only 4 of the 7 fans are led
* no side window (going to make my own)
* out of the box top plate wires are not routed very well but don't blame them an its time consuming to tuck them away how i like them.
*** not knocking any stars off for this as its nothing i cant easily take care of.

Other Thoughts: - top and front plates are a little tough to get off but some goes for most cases so no big deal.
- wish they would make a full blacked out version (currently working on painting all the red plastic black on mine)

love this case and would buy another (especially on sale)

5 out of 5 eggsVERY NICE

This review is from: DIYPC Skyline-07-R Black SECC ATX Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with 7 x 120mm Red Fans, Hot Swap Docking, Fan Controller

Pros: Great to look at. Hug, spacious, and designed to keep your components cool either by fans or by water cooling.

Cons: More fan filters would be nice but a great case over all.

Other Thoughts: If you need a full ATX tower I recommend this one. Very much worth the money.

3 out of 5 eggsSome issues I've found

This review is from: DIYPC Skyline-07-R Black SECC ATX Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with 7 x 120mm Red Fans, Hot Swap Docking, Fan Controller

Pros: - looks nice
- plenty of room for custom build
- lots of fans

Cons: - fans are not held with removable screws for replacing
- front fans are very hard to clean out, the hard drive slots are in the way
- the fan filters at the top and bottom of the case that slide out for cleaning are useless. They don't stop the dust LOL
- Front face plate doesn't easily come off for cleaning. (still haven't been able to remove it) The tabs are impossible to release and too stiff, hard to reach.

Other Thoughts: - I would maybe look elsewhere unless you are just starting out and need something cheap. It's served it's purpose well but I'm going to swap it for something that dismantles easier for cleaning the dust out.

3 out of 5 eggsIt Works

This review is from: DIYPC Skyline-07-R Black SECC ATX Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with 7 x 120mm Red Fans, Hot Swap Docking, Fan Controller

Pros: It has a lot of pre-installed fans and a lot of room to work with.

Cons: The wiring for the fans is awful and parts of the case (like the power button) feel cheap and flimsy.

4 out of 5 eggsGood deal.

This review is from: DIYPC Skyline-07-R Black SECC ATX Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with 7 x 120mm Red Fans, Hot Swap Docking, Fan Controller

Pros: It's a nice big case with a lot of room and some great features that looks amazing out of the box.

Cons: It's not the sturdiest enclosure I've purchased.

Other Thoughts: I had to remove one of the side panel fans to make room for a large CPU heat sink.

The internal HDD bays are most easily accessed with the case standing upright and both side panels off. Connectors are difficult to see and reach if the case is laying on its side.

The included LEDs produce quite a bit of light. I recommend red LEDs if you plan to leave the computer powered on in a bedroom.

5 out of 5 eggsoutstanding case

This review is from: DIYPC Skyline-07-R Black SECC ATX Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with 7 x 120mm Red Fans, Hot Swap Docking, Fan Controller

Pros: This is a really nice case.... The hotswap on top of the tower has been a nothing but awesome....The fans they come with are alright, they are quite though i can't hear them running most of the time. If you get a cooler master hyper 212 evo cpu cooler it will fit in the case but you will have to lose a side fan, but the up side to the is you can use that fan on the other side of the heat sink for a nice push, pull option. The case also looks wicked in a dark room with all the led fans.

Cons: Only con i can say about this case is the feet that it stands on are not level so the case will wobble a little bit but that's nothing a little home engineering can't fix

Other Thoughts: This case is awesome... don't hesitate

3 out of 5 eggsGood but not great

This review is from: DIYPC Skyline-07-R Black SECC ATX Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with 7 x 120mm Red Fans, Hot Swap Docking, Fan Controller

Pros: -Sturdy frame
-Fan filter on top
-Looks good with LED lighting
-A lot of room for expansion
-Comes with plenty of fans
-At the time it was a good price ($98.88)

Cons: -Audio jack on front broke less than two weeks of use
-Fan controllers on front do not have variable speed which is very misleading because it has controllers for it.
-The filter feature could be improved if the intake fans all had filters rather than some with and some without. The way its designed defeats the purpose of having the filter.

Other Thoughts: Other than the cons listed above I was very impressed with the case, I bought it for $98.88 and am somewhat happy with my purchase.
