3 out of 5 eggsmostly good

Pros: Big, and the fans are nice, plus it was easy to connect everything I needed. It was also very quiet aside from the two side fans, which really are not needed for normal use. There's still 5 other fans on top, back and front.

Cons: Some of the power supply cables were cheap. One in particular, the hot swap cable, the pins were very lose. They moved around so easily and so much that I couldn't even plug the thing in because the pins were never lining up.

The second problem, and the most annoying one, is the fan switches on the top are resetting my computer when I switch them. I am pretty sure I plugged everything in the right spot, everything was labeled clearly, and I had someone who knows more about this stuff than me look at and he said it looked like everything was where it was supposed to be. But for some reason the reset button doesn't seem to do anything, and all 3 fan switches are resetting my computer.

Other Thoughts: I haven't used the hot swap thing on the top but i can see it being very useful. the fan switches were the worst part but they are certainly not a deal breaker.

2 out of 5 eggsSave yourself the trouble

Pros: It is a computer case

The fans work

Cons: Where to begin....

The wires for the seemingly awesome built in fan controller along with the front panel USB wires are best described as a rats nest. I wish the greatest of luck to anyone who chooses to attempt to reorganize them.

The built in fan controller shorted out upon first flip of a switch. That was a delightful puff of smoke.

The lock in levers that hold the hard drive bays in their respective sections are cheap and prone to popping out of place under light pressure.

Paint job is prone to chipping.

Other Thoughts: I will likely upgrade to a new case for my birthday in a few months. Will the upgrade be to a DIYPC case? Most certainly not.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: ♦ Very Roomy
♦Red LEDs
♦Plenty of spots for tiding up the mess of cables

Cons: ♦It may not bother many people, but the side panel LED fans are a tad loud but they do a grand job at cooling off the gear inside.

2 out of 5 eggsExtremely Disappointed

Pros: 7 Fans are nice and they still work, the HDD and Optical bay screw-less features are nice and work flawlessly... And that is about it :(

Cons: I am going to try and not turn this into a rant, as many failed product reviews seem to do, here goes...

Built in fan controller does not work well, and the switches make intermittent contact and need constant readjusting. If you don't mind making small adjustments from time to time, or are not worried about temperatures, this shouldn't be an issue. However, if you like ensuring your several hundred dollar MOBO and APU do not take a swim with the fishes, DO NOT but this case.

Built in fan controller wires (I lovingly refer to it as the "Rats nest"), USB 3.0 wires, power, and sound wires all come out of the top and into the first optical bay making it completely useless. So, two of the three bays are usable. Need 3 bays? DO NOT buy this case.

I am using Asus's A88X Pro MOBO and it doesn't quite fit, so the I/O shield is loose and the PCI cards are tight. The board still functions, but if you're slightly (I use that word loosely, pun intended) you most definitely DO NOT want this case.

The paint job is poor, it chips off very easily. Once again, if you do not care about aesthetics, not an issue. Then again, if you do care and the look of the case was what originally attracted you to it.... DO NOT buy this case.

Okay, I'm done. I hope that was helpful. I would not recommend this case to anyone, and I plan on replacing it here shortly.

Other Thoughts: For the price, it still isn't a good buy. I thought it was a swinging deal, turns out you get what you pay for. And because of my stupidity, I didn't give this a 1 egg (although, MOBO tolerance issues are a HUGE ISSUE).

3 out of 5 eggssomewhat troublesome

Pros: Well, the mounting screws leave something to be desired, they kept coming out with the motherboard. The construction is kinda flimsy in some places. Nothing that is going to ruin your computer but just a little cheap. Not bad but I would recommend spending just a little more money to get higher quality, if you want that.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat purchase!

Pros: This case was everything I'd hoped for. Big, intimidating, and cold blooded! Great case, amazing price, beautiful quality, modern as could be, and easy cleaning! Overwhelming deal! Take advantage, beautiful colors!

Cons: ALL THE FRICKEN CABLES I SIDE THE CASE ARE ILL MANAGEABLE!! I was hoping to have a nice clean set up, but all of the IDE and FAN/systems connectors take up half the case and even worse the cables cannot be hidden!!

Other Thoughts: Great easy to disassemble, not too heavy, and gorgeous!

3 out of 5 eggsOn sale wins.

Pros: space, roominess, fan filters, fans, hot swap tool-less, top dock, fan controls, and USB3.0, all for under $100. sold!

Cons: well, I can't help but feel a touch cheated. From the beginning, we find ourselves with preinstalled standoffs. okay, that's fine, but none of the screws that came with em fit! hooray! wait. so after some finagling and replacing most of the standard standoffs with my own, I managed to mount the motherboard securely.
moving on to the fans. all the power connectors are IDE, and a few are actually powered by the board. I personally hate IDE, or whatever the previous gen power and data is called. I have a semi modular power supply, but don't have my extras on me while away. so no playing around with the fan controllers for me. yet. I'll update my review once I get this fully functional.

4 out of 5 eggsNot a bad budget case

Pros: Its a nice case with an interesting look.

Has a good amount of space for cable management behind the mobo.

stock 7 fans, 4 of which light up are surprisingly quiet.

2x USB 3.0 and 2x USB 2.0 slots on the top/front are nice.

Hot swappable roof slot for hdd is a pretty cool feature.

Cons: fan control wire harness is a mess.

The "knob" looking thing on the top/front is only a power button.

The red Hard drive clips make it easy to add/remove hdd's but are cheap plastic and feel like they could break with enough force.

Not enough room for a top mounted radiator such as an H100 with a push/pull config. you could maybe squeeze it in with just one set of fans but it would be to close for comfort in my opinion.

Other Thoughts: This was a budget case build for a friend and its not bad considering how much it was. It is a slick looking case i'll admit. It has everything you'd need in a full tower case except sufficient space for a top mounted radiator inside the case.

Never heard of DIYPC before but its not bad if your on a budget.
