Dismal. Inferior, Unsafe Construction. Lowest Quality Components
- Pros: Cheap after rebate. Looks okay, except for the "AZZA" on the front and side. Comes with 2x thumbscrews, 1x 120mm clear fan w/ blue LED's, 1x 80mm clear fan with blue LED's, 1x 92mm black fan. Drive door is held shut with a magnet.
- Cons: Of the 30+ cases I've used, this one take the cake as the WORST CASE EVER. If you look at Newegg's side-view picture closely, notice there are L brackets on the bottom to reinforce the case. Very few cases sport this "feature", as it shows just how little confidence Azza has in this product. The soft steel is virtually paper-thin and can be bent with just the force of your fingers. The chassis is so weak in fact, that Azza saw fit to screw the front of the chassis to the plastic front panel, thereby giving it some sense of rigidity.
The list of complaints I have about the case is about a mile long but I don't have space to list them all...
I tried fitting a matx mobo in the case, but found that due to bad design, the board could only be held on by a maximum of 4 mounting points - 3x screws and 1x quick release plastic standoff. With such a wretched mount, heavy heatsinks are certainly out, as the stress would fall to the motherboard itself.
- Other Thoughts: I cannot stress how huge of a disappointment this case has been, and how many corners have been cut in its production.
The side window is actually held in place with hot glue (and there was excess glue all around the window). The fans are actually very quiet but don't move much air as a result. The molex connections on the fans are extremely low quality and will almost certainly fail after a few insertions, especially if your PSU's molex connections are fairly tight. After 3-4 insertions, I've actually caused the molex pins to come out on 2 of the 3 fans. This has never been a issue before.
This case is LOUSY.
You get less than you pay for, and thats not saying much
- Pros: price, size, and the window looks nice
- Cons: LOUD FANS, no room for mistakes, poor airflow, no way to evenly mount the motherboard because the case was missing a hole, it had stripped holes, and the metal was so warped that the screws weren't long enough to reach some of the holes.
- Other Thoughts: Anything money you might have saved on this case you will make up for when you have to buy new fans to replace the obnoxiously loud fans that came with it. Every part in this case screams cheap, and for $20 I wasn't expecting top of the line, but this hardly even qualify's as passable. The nightmare i went through on the motherboard was a complete disgrace on the part of AZZA, over half of the motherboard screws couldn't be put in for one reason or another without either re-tapping the holes, or creating my own custom screw holes. The pci slots in the back of the case are the breakaway type so if you mess up and take off the wrong one then your stuck cause there's no way to put it back. Finally while just about every case these days uses a minimum of 120mm fans this case has 2 90mm fans in the most important places. Unless they start giving this case away for free then i would recommend staying away.
Delightful
- Pros: wow three fans included! Lots of room to work in and even the back panel comes off.The quality of the material from which the case is made is quite decent for under $50 case.even with all those fans it does run pretty quiet and absolutely cool.
- Cons: the factory installed I/O for the motherboard was rather difficult to remove.the light from the side fan is rather bright especially in a dark room! If you are going to install a second fan on the side be aware how tall your video card is because it may interfere with that second fan.
- Other Thoughts: instruction sheet that comes with the case could be a little bit bigger and especially with larger font
