4 out of 5 eggsGood Case

This review is from: AZZA Solano 1000 Black Japanese SECC Steel/Metal mesh in front MicroATX/ATX/Full ATX Computer Case

Pros: Lots of room for hardware, easy to work in, aesthetically pleasing

Cons: Side fan will not allow for some, larger cpu coolers. Front USB shorted out after 3 years, had to unplug to get system to boot.

Other Thoughts: Great case for the most part. If you're going to use an after stock cpu cooler, beware that the side fan may not allow the case to close after cpu cooler is installed. I recently upgarded to the ZALMAN 120mm and I had to unmount the 230mm case fan on the side to get the case to close.

3 out of 5 eggsShort out

This review is from: AZZA Solano 1000 Black Japanese SECC Steel/Metal mesh in front MicroATX/ATX/Full ATX Computer Case

Pros: Good case. Durable. Aesthetically pleasing. Plenty of room inside.

Cons: After a year or so, the wiring connecting the USB related things to the front of the case shorted out and had to be disconnected from the motherboard. It is also heavy, but not unbearable. Would give 4 or 5 stars if the case wiring didn't fail.

4 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: AZZA Solano 1000 Black Japanese SECC Steel/Metal mesh in front MicroATX/ATX/Full ATX Computer Case

Pros: Good looking case, plenty of airflow. Would suggest a positive air flow system rather than negative because of the face of the case.

Decent cable management system came with plenty of zip ties and other do-dads to help with this.

*** Mine came with the screws already seated for the motherboard. Was a lovely feature to have already implemented.

Solid and heavy, wouldn't recommend for frequent travelers.

Quiet Fans- Good color LEDS

Cons: WARNING: Larger CPU Coolers Will not fit with the window fan installed, you will have to remove it. Not a giant con considering the large amount of fans already in the case. Case will not close with the taller CPU coolers.

Other Thoughts: I would purchase this again, maybe not over a NZXT phantom but if your looking for something with a solid body and a decent look, i would definitely buy again.

5 out of 5 eggsHuge case

This review is from: AZZA Solano 1000 Black Japanese SECC Steel/Metal mesh in front MicroATX/ATX/Full ATX Computer Case

Pros: This case ih huge, if you are looking for a large case that can hold multiple high length graphics cards, I recommend this or the CM HAF X. The case fans use Molex connectors, and if done right can all be connected to a single power cable, as they have both male and female connectors. The case feels quite sturdy, and seems very well made. Included in the box are a few adjustable cable ties, extra motherboard stand-offs, several varieties of screws for mounting your other hardware.

Cons: Not necessarily a con, but you have to remove the hard drive cages in order to install the hard drives properly. My only suggestion would be to install the hard drives before you even install the motherboard, as it gets a bit tight if you are even using a full ATX. It is also a little tight behind the motherboard tray, making cable management a bit tight.

4 out of 5 eggsAZZA Solano 1000 Black Japanese SECC Steel/Metal mesh in front MicroATX/ATX/Full ATX Computer Case

This review is from: AZZA Solano 1000 Black Japanese SECC Steel/Metal mesh in front MicroATX/ATX/Full ATX Computer Case

Pros: Sleek looking case. Displays the computer well. Buttons have a good firmness to them. Fans still running strong over a year into the case being used. Side panel slips into place pretty easily.

Cons: Not the largest case in the world to work with when your dealing with cables and big graphic cards. I found it hard to do good cable management in this system as well.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case for the money

This review is from: AZZA Solano 1000 Black Japanese SECC Steel/Metal mesh in front MicroATX/ATX/Full ATX Computer Case

Pros: This cage has incredible, quiet ventilation. I am not particularly attracted to cases that have flashy LEDs in their fans or other bling, but this case was just too good a deal to pass up. We were going to put in it a very big GPU and needed a large case. This case did not disappoint. We have also opened and closed it numerous times without any pins breaking or any rattles being introduced. Quiet performance and great quality metal case for the price. We were also able to route all cabling through the back of the case as to allow for maximum air flow.

Cons: This case is massive. We could not keep it where we had our old one, which was pretty big as well. So make sure you have the room for it. Personally, I would have liked to have a cover on the exterior front ports which are on top of the case to prevent them from collecting dust, even if I had to pay a couple of dollars more.

Other Thoughts: We have a very large video card and still have to remove the card when swapping out peripherals. But this is because we chose to install the hard drives in the middle of the case. You could install them in the lower cage and avoid this issue. I hope the fans last. We have been thinking about ordering a fan just in case. So far this case has been very quiet considering the amount of times we have accessed it internally and the amount and size of the fans. Our system turned out to be quiet and lightning-fast. We are happy campers.

5 out of 5 eggsFun to show off

This review is from: AZZA Solano 1000 Black Japanese SECC Steel/Metal mesh in front MicroATX/ATX/Full ATX Computer Case

Pros: I built my first gaming rig using this tower. Even though building it was hard my first go around, this tower didn't provide any problems. Once I got it set up, it was really fun to show off.

Cons: None really. There weren't any extra screws, but I liked the ones that came with it.

3 out of 5 eggsLong time owner reviews many flaws

This review is from: AZZA Solano 1000 Black Japanese SECC Steel/Metal mesh in front MicroATX/ATX/Full ATX Computer Case

Pros: This AZZA case pretty much does everything for you.
1. Tons of fans.
2. Big work space.
3. Good dust filters.
4. fan controller on the back.

Cons: After about one year with this case, I have become more and more annoyed by it's issues.

1. There is no room for an aftermarket CPU cooler: the tops of the cooler collide with the side fan on the AZZA case when the side panel is on all the way. I haven't been able to keep the side panel on, except while moving the case. And if I forget to take it off again, when I turn on my computer I will be greeted by one of the loudest, more terrible noises a computer could make.

If anyone can help me with that it would be much appreciated.

2. This case isn't the most cable friendly. The back of my case bulges out due to the power supply cords, and was also very hard to put on after doing cable management behind the case.

3. Not much room for customization.
by that I mean, you can't add more fans without removing old ones.

4. Pretty loud.

Other Thoughts: Azza really should have thought to test their case with an aftermarket cooler. I am using the hyper 212, one of the most common on the market.

If you can, go with a fractal R4 or h440. Those cases are very common for a reason.

5 out of 5 eggsLove this case. Still has flaws

This review is from: AZZA Solano 1000 Black Japanese SECC Steel/Metal mesh in front MicroATX/ATX/Full ATX Computer Case

Pros: Case is Huge. Was able to install corsair h100i water cooler up top no problem. No need to remove top 230mm fan either. So its set up like a push pull system.
LEDs are pretty, not annoyingly bright or barely visible like some.

Cons: Cable Management. (Depending on your cables) The slots allowing cables to go from front to back do not have the rubber covers on them so you can see the wires easier. Plus the back area doesnt give you much room to play with before it is a hassle to get the side panel on. Needs to be a little deeper.

front fans. Are not 140mm they are actually 135 mm - heard that directly from azza support. So it makes it a little challenging upgrading the front fans. 120 mm fit, 140 do not.

Other Thoughts: I am happy with this case and would buy it again. Hopefully they will upgrade this case make the improvements necessary.

5 out of 5 eggsColossal and Modern

This review is from: AZZA Solano 1000 Black Japanese SECC Steel/Metal mesh in front MicroATX/ATX/Full ATX Computer Case

Pros: Comes with five very quiet and very nice fans.
The LEDs are bright enough to be seen, but not annoying.
There is room for water cooling, if necessary.
Very good for First time Custom PC builders.
Has a lot of space.

Cons: The large fan on the side is great, but its Blue color and size make for no being able to see your work inside the computer.

Other Thoughts: This was my first actual build. It wasn't for me, but a friend. He is a big fan of go big or go home. This case arrived in a timely and efficient manner from Newegg. The pictures don't do it quite the justice it deserves. The material feel top notch, the inside large and cavernous. The LEDs are bright, but not annoying. The fans are very quiet.

There is a hole for water cooling where the motherboard sits. The pictures may not show it, but it has enough room. Installation of my components was a breeze. This truly is a case for beginners.
