5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: For an $80 case you are not going to get anything better. I put 1 Thermaltake 3 bay harddrive rack canister and a 4bay canister so I can mount 7 harddrives with external hot swap capabilities. I have a 4 SSD 840 pro in Raid 10 and 2 1TB in raid 1. And 1 2TB drive for backups.

I also have a blue ray drive. I had to take out the front harddrive cage (which is mounted with thumb screw ftw!). I could still put one more harddrive canister in there if I wanted to.

The number of 5.25 bays in this case is amazing and you get more if you take out the harddrive cage and fan in the front.

The constructions feels solid the edges of metal are not raiser sharp, everything has been folded and milled so you are not going to slice your hand open.

More than enough fans and space! There is a panel underneath the CPU area so it appears if you forget to put your heatsink mounting bracket you can do it after you mount your motherboard.

Lots of little spaces to hide away you cables, (very easy to push cables so they slip under the side panel on the motherboard side).

It’s not a very silent case, but in terms of cooling performance and ease for building you are not going to get a better case if you pay more money.

Cons: It has been discontinued.....

Other Thoughts: What an awful mistake to discontinue this case, I'm glad I have mine. At this price point there really isn't a match. I don't like cases with side windows (i keep my case clean but not clean enough to want to show it off 24/7) but I guess for my next build I won't have much of a choice.

3 out of 5 eggsok case for price

Pros: The case fans are very quiet

Cons: The side fan is massive and is quite thick (at least 30mm) this may cause problems if your GPU is large.

Other Thoughts: I really like the idea of the side fan, but 230 mm is maybe too large. Would be much better with a 200 x 200 20 mm side fan.

The Rosewill Blackhawk is a much better case at the same price.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case for mid-range build

Pros: Very good price for this case, has space in the back for cable management, lots of blue lights if that's your thing, and it feels really sturdy overall. I'm one of those people who constantly gets into the case to change things and I have had no issue with any stuff wearing down or getting bent or warped. Also plenty of room for your hard drives and media readers.

It's very large on the inside and has plenty of room for your video cards, seems to me that this case is almost borderline full tower. I've got one of the longer 560 Ti 448 video cards in this thing and there's plenty of room to spare as well as even adding in a second card.

This case has lots of fans, also the giant fan on the side creates plenty of airflow into the case directly at your video cards as well as a fan on the front for your hard drives.

Cons: This thing is like a dust magnet in certain places, on the large 230 mm fan there is no dust filter so after a few weeks you get a nice buildup on your video cards. The front removable panels have some little filters inside them but they are a pain to put back in after cleaning, and even then dust will still get by and settle on the hard drives.

Also the hard drive bay can be a little annoying as you have to remove it completely before changing drives and to do that most of the time you have to remove the power supply first because the bay slides out in that direction.

The front power LED light is super bright, not a huge issue for me as I have it sitting under my desk. It can always be disabled though.

There is some cable management in this case but it's very small, and if you're like me with a lot of wires you're gonna have a hard time fitting everything out of sight behind the motherboard. I haven't measured it but I think there's about half an inch of space back ther

Other Thoughts: I've had this case for almost 2 years now and it's still in great shape. However if you're looking to get it then I highly suggest the first thing you do is to invest in some dust filtering material at least for the giant side fan, or invest in some better quality fans all together.

Also as i said in the title, I would only really use this case for a mid range PC build. The reason for this is that while it has a lot of airflow, it's not a very focused stream inside the case and I think the overall cooling suffers a bit because of that.

That's my only concern as far as heat goes, with two video cards there isn't enough fan power to push most of that hot air away from them which is why I'll soon be upgrading to a different case. Don't let that discourage you though, it's still a really solid case and it has served me well. Even after I upgrade I'm passing this case along to another family member, so I would still recommend this to anyone.

4 out of 5 eggsbest bang for the buck...

Pros: Price is right. Great ventilation. Both side panels pop off to allow easy wiring access. Cosmetically appealing. A dream case to build a server.

Cons: Side panels are a little flimsy so if you add / replace components alot you may not like the way the panels go back on. I've seen better quality pwr / reset buttons.. but for the price, I can live with them.

Other Thoughts: First.. bought this with rebate in mind and I received my ck in a timely fashion. ( saw where others didn't have good luck.. but no problems with mine )

I'm using the case as a server chassis so I yanked out the internal cage and am putting qty 2, 5 in 3 icy dock drive cages, a single 3 in 2 cage, and a DVD drive in this thing and will have front access to them all. ( now if I only had enough $$ for 12 - 3 TB drives! ) Did have to modify the case slightly as the icy drive cages won't slide in with the "metal guides" that are on the case frame that normally support the 5.25" devices you may use. Nothing a jig saw, a file, and a little sweat can't handle.

3 out of 5 eggsgood case, fake rebate ad

Pros: Good case, quiet, durable, easy to work inside.

Cons: Bought it with rebate which I mailed correctly. Nobody responded. Fake rebate program. I don't care about the money but don't like to be fooled with tricks that cheap.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: lots of space, comes with LOTS of screws, quite fans, pleased

Cons: LED fans are bright... by you can just cut the wires :)

Other Thoughts: This is a larger case then I expected - the images make the scale hard to determine... but this is a full size tower.

5 out of 5 eggsGood-quality Case

Pros: Good quality metal, great fan configuration.

Cons: The little rubber circles attached to the "legs" to keep the case in place kept falling out from the very beginning of assembly, having been held by only some glue. Got tired of putting them back in, just threw them out.

Other Thoughts: I recommend newegg to remove E-ATX from the Motherboard Compatibility field in the detailed specs. I was led astray by that, so I literally had to cut and bend metal to fit an E-ATX motherboard in. Buyer, beware: this case is NOT E-ATX, it's ATX and Micro-ATX only.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Case

Pros: Lowered my core temp by 10 degrees C. Lots of room for airflow and components. GREAT customer service. The fans are very quiet (after received replacement, see other thoughts).

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I had a fantastic experience with their customer service department. One of the fans was bad (I think the bearings were shot) upon arrival. I contacted the manufacturer and they promptly sent a replacement fan at no cost.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Case

Pros: Not too heavy. Everything fit well. Lots of air cooling, the big fan on the side is quiet, and moves a lot of air. Lots of drive bays.

Cons: The blue power light is bright enough to burn your retinas at 30'. I mean it hurts to look at it. Does somebody have some sun screen. So I put a small sticker on it that said power on it and every thing was OK. It still was quite bright going through the sticker.

Other Thoughts: I didn't want some gaudy case that had an alien face on it, or whirling LEDs, and other cute stuff. I just want a solid case to hold my computer stuff. This has a few blue LEDs (one is real bright), and has more of everything I would ever want in a case.
