AZZA unveils Genesis 9000 - with unprecedented features and uncompromised performance, all at an unbeatable price. Among the many intelligent innovations you’ll find in Genesis 9000, is a removable motherboard tray that can be installed in two opposite directions. Placed in the traditional way, your CPU is next to the top fan. Place the motherboard tray in reverse, the ventilator is now in close proximity to your VGA cards. Placing a giant exhaust fan next to your hotspot is one feature that helps keep the computer cool locally. Furthermore, since the physics of good airflow demands global planning of the position and the direction of the ventilators to ensure adequate air intake and proper exhaustion, Genesis 9000 is engineered with the power supply installed in the front bottom so that two 140mm mid- and rear-bottom fans can supply gusts of wind blasting upward removing excess heat via the top two 230mm fans. This design generates an uninterrupted vertical airflow that allows air to flow in a straight line from bottom to top, providing optimum cooling for the entire system. The full-tower case supports dual-power supply. A second power supply may be installed in the rear bottom.

Genesis 9000 is as accommodating as it is thoughtful. The array of attentive features includes its capability to house a 480mm water cooling radiator, the longest available in the industry. In fact, this expansive case has enough room for up to three radiators including one 480mm plus another 240mm and a third 120mm. Also, it is the first in its class to hold VGA cards up to 400mm. Maximum compatibility with motherboard allows for installation of XL-ATX, E-ATX, Full ATX, and Micro ATX. It is equipped with five easy swap HDD slots, supporting up to nine 5.25” drive bays. With nine add-on card slots, it is fully capable to accommodate quad-SLI.

Combining each of its innovative features, Genesis 9000 offers cutting-edge over convention, delivering a gaming experience second to none.

4 out of 5 eggsH U G E !!!

Pros: This case is Enormous! The pictures don't give it justice. I bought this for my son (gamer). There are LOTS of fans and spaces for fans, air flow is not a problem. Cable maintenance is nice.

Cons: Case is Huge. Make sure your cables are long enough or cable maintenance is wasted. The front panel cables were mislabeled. The power cable was labeled as reset, so it looked like there were Two reset cables. I had to trace out the wires since they are all in one bundle. Took an egg off for that.

Other Thoughts: Case seems well built, a little more plastic than I thought, but seems to be sturdy enough for the size.

2 out of 5 eggsA Case only a 10 year old can Love

Pros: Roomy case. Good airflow. Left-Right reversible/inverted motherboard tray. Dual PSU Support.

Cons: Cheap quality. Poor build construction. Poor design.

Other Thoughts: Build for a friend's 10 year old son who wanted this case and hopefully won't find this review. It's large, plasticky, got enough fans to cool down a monster gaming build or a server, except no self-respecting IT professional would build one in such a tacky, cheap and poorly designed case like this. Motherboard tray is a beeyotch to pull out - mine was all warped and it took me 2-3 minutes wiggling it around before I finally pulled it out. Going back in was easier once you mounted the motherboard. Front PSU install capability was interesting but the passthrough cable is a thin small gauge AWG that I wouldn't use if you had a 1000watt or higher PSU. Better off getting an extra long high gauge power cable and running it directly from the PSU through the case. Plasticky case trim sections... so hard to pull off that I thought there were extra screws that the manual didn't show and I was paranoid I was going to break the plastic. Anyways, at least I know what to expect out of an AZZA now that I've tried one.

4 out of 5 eggsBetter than I expected

Pros: Looks good , does what it says and keeps it cool , very expansive with lots of fan / radiator mounts . I really love the v-card holder . helps out with my R9 290x (quite large) .
pleasure to wire and work on as all the panels come of very easily with thumbscrews .

Cons: There was a poor hot glue job on the power switch . It wasn't set in place when they glued it and the glue blocked the tabs from locking in and holding the button so when depressed it doesn't fall into the case . Easy fix , just removed the glue and it snapped right in .
One of the hotswaps was DOA . I don't care really as I will never use , but to those that might , it got docked one egg .

Other Thoughts: This case is massive , looks great inside and out . Doesn't really look cheap like it does in the picture . I have 2 pull fans on bottom , 1 exhaust on back and 2 on top . My fx6100 , 6 degrees c at idle @ the cores..My 8350 , 10 degrees C @ idle across all cores . Overall temps are just as impressive . 6100 under load hit 38 C , 8350 under load hits 48 C

5 out of 5 eggsVador

Pros: Big enough for what ever you need. . All the fans work n LEDS . No scratches or dings on case. Fits 240mm Rad with Ease. Case Fans are not loud like sum say. My rig sits beside me and it just sounds like a small fan is on. But with temps like 47 degres

Cons: Some of the thumb screws needed a screw driver to get off. Not worth docking a Egg.

3 out of 5 eggsCould have been the best!!

Pros: Large Size
Alot of options for watercoolong
Cheap price

I do believe that WITH modding this case could be one of the best, only problem is...........(see below)

Cons: The top of the case where the air is mainly exhausted is actually blocked off, not totally but there are tiny little slits that allow not enough air thru.

A simple fix would be to cut the plastic out and replace with mesh. This would've made the case so much better from the start, why Azza wanted it covered in the first place is beyond me.

Also the support thingy that is ment to help hold the GFX card, on mine the screws were "broken"? They just keep turning either way and not coming out, I had to forcefully twist and bend the screw in order to get it out, causing the motherboard tray to bend or warp slightly.

Other Thoughts: If you plan on installing and large video card I'd recommend moving the video card support over before installing anything else.

Unless you mod the top of this case the two large fans on top will not be effective, it doesn't allow hot air a chance to escape, instead its just pushed back down into the case,

For the price, this is acceptable just mod the top. If you don't plan doing the mod, don't buy this case.

1 out of 5 eggs3 month update

Pros: Looks nice. Paint seems to be of good scratch resistant quality.

Cons: Where to begin? After much trial and error I finally figured out the wiring to make the LED's work. which was nice until the wires for them broke, due in part to being about the thickness of a human hair, and also to them being about 6 inches shorter than they should be.

Case gets terrible airflow, fins on top are horrible design. Also, I'm not sure if newegg just got it wrong, or the manufacturer did, but this case DOES NOT support 140mm fans on the top, only 120's. Which is great when you believe the given info and purchase a dual 140mm fan radiator for the water cooler (that you will undoubtedly need because the fins allow for so little airflow that air cooling is not a good idea, even with my EVO 212). Thankfully in Ratx setup you can put said radiator at the bottom (which is weird because with most graphics cards cooling setups you end up having to make the top fans into intake instead of exhaust, and yet again have bad airflow without filtration). The bottom of the case is about the nicest part. can fit plenty of fans down there and they get good airflow and are filtered. just wish I didn't have to have a wonky airflow with everything upside down.

In otherwords, good idea, good looks, don't waste your money (unless if you can it on sale for a really cheap price, like under 100$, even then you'll still want to mod the top, and buy soldering equipment for when the led wires break which puts this case at way too much effort for not enough benefit).

Other Thoughts: AZZA's look like fun, attractive case's, but after my experience with this case, I will not be buying AZZA in the future. Also the provided fans are junk, the molex connectors it comes with are there simply to annoy you it seems (or cause a short because someone forgot to glue the metal connectors into the hole's on the plastic molex connector, meaning they will come out and expose energized metal to the inside of your case eventually), if you did buy this, go back through newegg and buy two 140mm fans, and 3 120's for the side. also two 230's for the top since they suck as well.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Case

Pros: Very large case! Stands almost as tall as my desk. I'd say it's probably 2 1/2 feet tall. Excellent cable management, the R/ATX is a nice touch but I don't use it hence I had to take off the top and feed the usb's eSata and power cables through the other side (just to double check that nothing was pinched because of a review I had read about this case and nothing was pinched so all is well) there's probably 8-10 thumb screws holding the mobo tray in and the standoffs for the mobo use a really odd screw which was kind of a pain to find in the little bag of hardware they give you but overall, great case! Mostly steel with a few parts being plastic. The 5.25" bays have easily removable screens that you just pinch to take out. The LED's can be turned off but the button they're wired to also shuts off the top 230's and the bottom 120's which for me isn't a problem but some people like to have fans separate from their LED's so there's that. Would definitely advise taking the top off even if you aren't going to use the standard ATX form the case can provide JUST to check for pinched wires. Don't want to mess anything up!

Cons: The only con I can think of so far is the motherboard standoff screws to secure the motherboard to the tray were difficult to find xD Nothing to deduct an egg for though. The 230 mm fans on the top didn't push as much air as I was expecting them to but I was planning on replacing them with some bitfenix spectre pro's for a nice red lighting effect in the case.
