3 out of 5 eggsnice case

Pros: keeps everything cool with all new fans installed. price

Cons: fan that comes with this is junk. kind of small

Other Thoughts: I bought this from tiger direct because it was on sale when I opened this up one of the plastic peaces that hold hard drive was broke and the case fan that came with this would turn on and off when it felt like. I emailed customer service at cougar 2 times and they do not answer so that's why I give this 3 eggs they do not want to make things right.

5 out of 5 eggsGood little case.

Pros: Works.

Cons: You may want to get some motherboard standoff screws. This is not an issue with the case so much as just a heads up to other buyers.

Other Thoughts: Pro tip: There are two side panels and they both can be taken off. Had I known this I would not have been wrestling trying to get a different front fan installed with rubber screws for 15 minutes.

5 out of 5 eggsNice little case

Pros: - Nice little case for the price and good enough quality for what we needed!
- We got a case badge from a gtx 750ti and there's a spot on the front of the case that's perfect for it. Made it look premium!

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: I helped my brother with buying parts for his latest computer and I can't say anything bad about this little case. It's perfect for his needs and installing the components inside it was no problem.

2 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: Cheap.
Works.
Fits somewhat longer cards.

Cons: The hard drive cage is a joke. It's partially my fault for installing the CPU first, but the way the case is laid out, it's impossible to get a standard sized HDD into the cage after you've installed the CPU. What happens if you want to install a new HDD? You remove the CPU? Give me a break.

Top mounted PSU.

Tool-less mounting system is really cheap.

The single case fan it came with was DOA. Good thing I had 4 120MM spares laying around.

Entire case feels like it's about to fall apart.

Complete lack of wire management system.

Other Thoughts: It's a cheap case, like, really really cheap, if you need something NOW but don't want to spend much. Not much thought went into the design at all.

5 out of 5 eggsJust what the Dr ordered

Pros: The extra fan space and airflow options is great for a high performance micro ATX installation. The case is well-built, and it has a generic, yet fantastic, look. It includes everything expected with a computer case, and it is sturdy. love the snap-in bays. Screws are so last-decade.

Cons: Not really a con, but there's not much wiggle room inside. What should I expect from a small ATX case? not much wiggle room inside. So yeah, there's that. You want a PC with a small physical footprint, right? Well, then you run into annoying issues with cable management and component installation. I expect this, and therefore not knocking an egg off for it.

Other Thoughts: I bought this specifically because I needed to switch to liquid cooling for my AMD CPU (suffered a few turn-offs while rendering video). Unfortunately, my last LARGE box only had one 120mm fan spot, which was already in use for case airflow. With four places that 120mm fans can be installed, this case looked like my best bet. I moved the included back case-fan to the front area, and used the back (now available) spot for the 120mm fan that connects to the liquid cooling radiator. Fits well, but wiggle-room is lacking. With any small tower, take your time with assembly.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Size was perfect for a small LAN box I built.

Cons: Installing HDDs could be tricky if your heatsink is tall. I used a stock heatsink that was relatively short and I was able to angle my hard drive in the bay.

Other Thoughts: You could get an adapter and mount your HDD in one of the optical drive slots if you are planning on using a large heatsink.

4 out of 5 eggsnice case

Pros: This was my first computer build and i am a complete novice. I did not want a flashy case and i almost went with the HEC 6K28BB8F case. But then i noticed that the cooling might possibly be a problem and i would like to be able to add an extra fan. That's when i started considering the SPIKE and n the end it won out. It went together really fast the metal is a bit thin but the build quality seems good for what it is.

Cons: I used a evga 500 power supply and there is a ton of wiring to it and no where to hide it except in the second drive bay. If i ever add a second cd drive i don't know what i will do with all the wiring. Metal is a bit thin i would have liked it to been thicker. The front plastic panel attachment looks fragile so be careful with it when removing.

Other Thoughts: Overall i like this case and it will work for my cheap build. The thing that sold me on it was the ventilation capability.
