3 out of 5 eggsEhh... it's ok.

Pros: It looks nice.
It's pretty compact.

Cons: - VERY cheaply made
- NO CABLE MANAGEMENT SPACE. It can really be a mess in there.
- Hot glue.... hot glue everywhere
- Clasps for the optical drive and the drive bays are a joke. Broke off the first time I tried to secure something. And I mean they actually broke, not just came off.
- Weird size. My Cool Master 212 Evo's pipes stick out of the side holes. Other mATX cases I've looked at could easily fit it. Just found that odd.

Other Thoughts: It's not even that cheap. When I think of cheap, I think $30 or lower. The case is one thing I should have splurged on for my build. Oh well, ordered a Fractal Arc Mini R2 to replace the Spike.

5 out of 5 eggsGood value case

Pros: This is a great value for the price. I like the thumbscrews that hold on the side panels, and the tool-free drive bays. It has room for multiple 120mm fans, which was something I was looking for. It seems pretty sturdy and I think it will hold up well.

Cons: I couldn't figure out why my mATX motherboard wouldn't fit until I took a closer look at the back panel. It must have gotten bumped around during shipping or something, because it had come loose. After I pushed it back into place I was able to fit my motherbaord. Other than that it has been perfect and I won't take off an egg for that.

Other Thoughts: I wish I had another USB 2.0 plug on the front, but I understand why they put both 2.0 and 3.0 on it. You can't please everybody, I guess.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case

Pros: A great looking case that's low cost.

Cons: Horrible for wire management. I highly recommend a modular PSU as there's almost nowhere to put your wires other than empty 5.25" bays.
My case looks very messy!

Other Thoughts: Overall for the price and looks, the cons will never really affect the rating.

4 out of 5 eggspretty good for the money

Pros: Well thought out design. All the holes line up perfectly with my motherboard. Large fan included. Good build quality. Has mounting areas to add additional fans if you so choose.

Cons: My only gripe would be that since they painted the inside of all the panels, they don't conduct to each to create a faraday cage. Design doesn't look like it will do much to cool the hard drives(all designs are likely this way)

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Little Case

Pros: I picked up this case as part of a customers small form factor gaming PC.

This is a beastly little case to work with. It's support for GFX cards up to 12.9 inches is quite amazing for such a small case. It has decent airflow and lends itself wonderfully to builds where both space and cost are a concern. I purchased this case when it was available directly from Newegg for $36.99.

It also works well as an HTPC case, depending on your specific home theater system layout of course, or on a small desk. Thanks to it's small footprint.

While space is obviously limited, the design of the case does seem to have ample room for cable management, though you may have to get somewhat creative if you're trying to cram a lot of hardware into it. A modular PSU is always recommended when working in small form factor cases.

The case is also aesthetically pleasing, it really does look nice sitting on a desk or next to your TV.

Cons: Not a lot of space to work with obviously, but you should know that going into a build with this case. Considering the cases small size and design, there is actually more space that I expected.

Other Thoughts: The Cougar Spike really is a great little case. For this build, it's housing an AMD 7850K APU powered system, a modular Corsair PSU, with a Radeon R9 285 added later. Also running an SSD and one HDD. There is plenty of room for airflow to keep it all nice and cool, and room to expand.

Another great product from Cougar.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Case

Pros: Small. Perfect size for my micro ATX build. I can put in 4 120mm fans. This case has a slot for an SSD without an adapter. And it fits a full size video card in it.

Cons: Bottom PSU position would be cool.

Other Thoughts: The box has a Cougar Germany logo on it. I thought is was made in Germany. I was wrong........ unfortunately it Made in China.

5 out of 5 eggsMicrotower

Pros: Chose this for my first build after getting a case my micro-mobo couldn't accomodate. Like many others say, it's great bang for your buck. Everything fit just fine despite the clutter of cords I have inside.

With a good intake fan you can achieve positive air flow.

Cons: Materials have potential to break or break off without care. (Eg. the front cover plastic could crack and the soldering job on front outlets and some components are very flimsy/shoddy.)

Could use a little better screening for dust, and higher feet with vents to allow cooling from below.

Again, you get what you pay for, so no Eggs off in a $30ish range.

Other Thoughts: Going to replace my stock heatsink on the cpu and there is enough space for some handy options. I'll update when that happens.

2 out of 5 eggsIts OK I guess

Pros: Metal, small, case fan, 2.5" HDD mounting location (on bottom of case), easy to remove both sides of case.

Cons: Front USB 3.0 port doesn't work (same as few other reviewers), mounting a 2.5" HDD on the bottom of the case makes it difficult to install the SATA cable

Other Thoughts: I bought it because it was cheap, however, it being cheap shouldn't mean that advertised features shouldn't work.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice

Pros: Very well built and sturdy nice looking case. No power supply. well thought out and extremely quiet fan. No sharp edges! tool-less design. Decent cable management. The power and reset buttons are good size and the lights are not to bright. USB3.0. Great case for the money! I have built several computers and this case was the best I have used some cost more than twice this much.

Cons: Nothing major but the feet are stick on pads, I used a MSi A78M-E45 motherboard and was a tight fit getting between the rear of the case and drive cages .

Other Thoughts: Will buy again

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: - Easy to work inside
- Able to install up to x4 120mm fans
- Comes with x1 120mm fan already installed
- Sturdy

Cons: None really

Other Thoughts: Really great case, so far I love it. Didn't come with any dents or dings, is absolutely perfect. I bought a seperate 4 pack of 120mm cougar fans and installed 2 and they are very quiet and airflow is great. I am playing high end PC games at high settings and the temperature stays around 40 degrees.
