4 out of 5 eggsNice case, good airflow, poor plastic.

Pros: I decided on this case due to its cool honeycomb design in the front. Good space, and cool black painted steel inside and outside. Room for 7 fans, and a practical layout inside the case. In the end with some led powered fans it looks great when backlit behind the honeycomb mesh or fan locations.

Cons: While I like the product, I did not like the easy bending steel and flimsy plastic. But, look at the price point. Mine came with 4-5 of the front plastic tabs broken straight out of the case. the quality of the plastic is not the best, and one must be careful handling plastic parts in the front (mesh screen etc). The front face somehow is still attached so I did not bother returning it.

It also takes a while to organize the screws that come with the case into different usage groups, but that is done everything makes sense.

Other Thoughts: The see-through partition looks into the drive bays. I understand that fans are on the left and cooling is more important, but it would have been nice to be able to show more of the graphics card, ram and cpu-cooler.

4 out of 5 eggsNice case with good room

Pros: You can install 7 fans. This case is the same size as my old case but this case seems to have a ton of room inside.

Cons: which it come with more fans out of the box. it had 1 . And the fan wasn't the best in the world. I upgraded that fan also. So if it was sold with out any fans and cut the price down even more that would be great.

Other Thoughts: So far this case is better than my other case I have had for a few years. With only 2 120 mm fans right now it already is cooler inside than the old case.

4 out of 5 eggsSons build

Pros: Price, this thing was a great deal. Air flow is nice as well, case has dust screens to keep it clean if you make the case positive pressure by pulling in way more air through the screens than your venting it should stay clean. Nice case looks good and was pretty easy to set up as its got a good amount of room.

Cons: The side panels are a little on the flimsy side but it is a really good case for the price.

3 out of 5 eggsIt's ok

Pros: The front grill looks awesome. It's easy to add new drives. The filters are simple to get to. Extremely lightweight.

Cons: The bottom of the case came bent so it doesn't sit perfectly flat. Instead it teeters back and forth. The clips that hold the 2 fans in the front are way too easy break off.

4 out of 5 eggsUSB2 header hookup plug

Pros: Good looking case, good layout for HDD's & SSD's bays.
This case has room for most of your needs. Lots of room for your fans. Cable management not that bad, could use so more room. But then most Mid Towers do.

Cons: I wouldn't be looking to put a 240mm AIO water cooling in the top. It's weak in that point. Front bezel USB2 hookup plug wires are thin so watch with care as they will pull out easy if and when you unplug it. Ready needs heavier wires for it.

Other Thoughts: Hats off to the Cougar RMA support as they are sending me another one to switch out. Fast response from there RMA support. Thank you Newegg offered a replacement case: But why, only need the new hookups from the front bezel PCB board, Thanks anyway e Bay-Newegg store. Even offered shipping cost return label. "First on that point from Newegg" Hope this review helps
ps: I would still buy another has case fits a lot of needs and also looks good.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case!

Pros: - Everything is very easy to take off (dust filters, top, front, sides)
- Awesome Design
- Little wasted space
- The tooless functions are perfect and very convenient for cable management and fan placement

Cons: -Not really a con, but cable management had to get creative due to the small size of the case, however with time, everything fits and looks great.
- Windowed side panel could be larger or in a better location. If looking straight on, all you can see are the PCI-E cables leading to GPU's, drive bays and maybe an inch or two of the mobo

Other Thoughts: Despite this being a budget case, I decided to throw in my brand new i7-4790k with a ASUS Maximus VII Hero. This case was nice, not too large, and gave what I thought in store would be a decent amount of space. Even though one of the reviewers mentioned that Crossfire won't fit in this case, I currently have crossfired r9 270x's inside of it, so I'm not sure where they get that from. There's definitely no way you'll be fitting 3 fan GPU's but Crossfired or SLI 2 fanned GPU's will be just fine. Some of the materials are cheap, but honestly, you're getting what you pay for. I didn't mind some of lack of better materials because the case looks so good. I was looking for a decently priced mid tower case with a windowed side panel. That's exactly what I found and I couldn't be any happier.

Currently I'm using a stock cooler because I wasn't sure if my Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo would fit, but I may try putting it in later and I'll edit this review.

3 out of 5 eggsNot the Quality I was expecting

Pros: It looks nice
Decent bang for buck
Reasonably Sturdy
Good Cable management, great case for someone on a budget build

Cons: Poor quality steel
Poor quality plastic
I feel like I could bend a few places with my own thumbs or hands
Top pops off wayy too easy

Other Thoughts: Bit of background, I bought the Cougar Volant 2 years ago on a previous build and it was 99% solid build steel with an extra sturdy plastic front panel. Best durable computer case I'd seen in years. Mind you, at the time, the case was the same price as this one. I bought this one thinking I would get the same quality as the Volant and boy was I wrong. Compared with the Volant, this thing could get dented by just about anything. Ironically after the black Friday sale which I purchased this on, they jacked the price of the Volant up by $45. I was shocked and extremely disappointed in Cougar that they would actually do this. I'm probably going to send it back and get a Corsair instead I'm so disappointed. The one thing I will give this case over the Volant is it actually has 2.5" Drive space for SSDs where as with the Volant it only had space for one which, I kid you not, had to be anchored to the floor of the case. Decent case for the money, but definitely not what I was expecting.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Purchase

Pros: Cable Management - Front port and button cables come pre-routed through a cable cage (Although the power and USB cables were tucked into the back wall and had to be pulled out). There is also additional space in the embossed back wall to stuff extra cables.

Great Ventilation - Although it only comes with one fan, there's room for two in the ceiling, two in the front, and two in the side. Even without buying extra fans, these ventilation spaces are fantastic.

Awesome Design - The ridges on either side of the front panel look even cooler in person. The honeycomb front, side window, and all-around vents combine to make a great looking case!

Cons: Only one fan - Wish it came with more than one initially

Smallish - Not a problem if it's for an entry or mid-level machine, but don't expect to fit any 3-fan GPU's in here.

Other Thoughts: Overall great buy, I would recommend this to anyone building a PC for under $750. If you're buying some extreme components, get something bigger to accommodate them all.
