Great CHEAP Case
- Pros: Nice glossy black finish. The front fan looks like a turbine and glows blue. Comes with all the required screws for a PC. Fits my ATX board nicely. Front ports are easily assessable. Door to hid DVD/CD Drives (awesome because I only had an old white DVD Drive laying around that I can hide)
Very cheap, $39.99 with free shipping was a steal. If I get the $40 rebate back Then It was worth the penny I'll have made!
- Cons: All the front ports have each freaking pin separated and not clearly labeled. This leads to finding weird pin outs for all the print connectors because they couldn't clump the USB connectors together. The front fan on my case was blowing outwards when I wanted it to be intake. The metal feels very cheap and bends quite easily.
When mounting my PSU at the bottom the fan was upside down so I had to drill new holes so I could mount the PSU correctly.
The Case also didn't come with any output fans so I put on in the back where there is a neat little slot for a spare 80mm fan.
- Other Thoughts: For $40 (or free AR) this case is amazing. Only get this case if you're on an extreme budget (I think it's $80 now which is a rip-off) If you have a few more dollars I'd get a Raidmax Smilodon.
Good basic cheap case
- Pros: Price, overall appearance, included blue neon lights. Someone looking for a nice looking case, this is the one for you. I love it! To make a comparison, when shopping for name brand items and store brand items, this case is considered the store brand. Great overall, just remember you get what you pay for. Don't expect too much
- Cons: As others have said, it is a cheaply made case. Feels very brittle. When I received my case, I had to take off every screw on the side panel, because of the genious who assembled it left the protective plastic on the side panel acrylic window which made it look horrible
- Other Thoughts: For the price (bought mine for $40), its an amazing value. If you want something high performance, you're looking at the wrong item
cool running case
- Pros: where to start? I've seen some bad reviews of this case and I need to set the record straight. first, it looks awesome and the finish on the case was fine, although the box was a tad beat up. well packaged. Now I'm not one to leave well enough alone so i added aftermarket fans, a fan controller, and mounted the power supply with the fan facing up into the case. That's where the magic of this case starts. With all aftermarket fans on low in this case (granted partly due to choice of fans, heatsink, and video cards) this thing is inaudable beyond 3 feet away. a 9850 quad core will run about 31-37C with a high of 48C during heavy gaming. Max the fans on the same 9850, and it will idle at 25C, max at 39C in a 68F room. Yes good after market cooling, but mainly due to the awesome airflow design of this case. Cool design, real cooling, and that makes this a winner hands down.
- Cons: Yes there's some cons. the USB cables require independant connection of each and every pin. The stock fans are a tad noisy...okay a lot noisy. The case front is a little hard to get off to change fans. When you do take it off, be careful you don't pinch the front panel wiring putting it back on as the plastic coating on the wire makes a lot of smoke. (yes oops, rewiring if you know how is pretty easy though)
- Other Thoughts: Over all a very sturdy design, has awesome looks, great cooling and keeps my 9850 quad w/zalman 9700/msi k9a2/4GB G.skill RAM/ Saphire toxic hd 3870/msi theator pro/2 500GB WD 7200 HDD/dual 22x LG burners exceptionally, cool actually insanely cool. mount an 80mm on the mounts provided blowing toward the heatsink, have the heatsink and cards blow into the case, and use a 120mm powersupply blowing out, and mount 2 80mm on the front mounts for hdd cooling, and another 120mm blowing out on the front and you have temps most people only see with water cooling. Yes good cooling components. I acknowledge that, but it's this case that really makes all that work, and it needs a higher rating than its getting.
