5 out of 5 eggsAmazing case

Pros: Huge! Very easy to work in, great airflow, and cable grommets make organizing and installing hardware easy and clean.

Design is smooth and sleek and doesn't light up my office like a disco.

Cons: HDD bays could be designed better. One of the front 120mm fans was warped and needed to be replaced.

Other Thoughts: If space for the case is not an issue, go for this case!

I have always built full towers and this one is easily the best design I have worked with.

If you need extra cooling look into getting at least 4 extra fans. 120mm - 140mm easily fit in both top and bottom of case.

3 out of 5 eggsPoor fans, bad air circulation

Pros: Big case

Cons: Although this case has a lot of space for a quad socket Opteron server. Yes, I had to tap and drill a custom base plate. It fails miserably in the air cooling department. All of the fans had to be replaced on the case even after 4 additional Gelid 70 CFM 120mm fans had been added. With 4x16-core processors in this box with Dynatron A6 heatsinks, I must now upgrade the Gelid fans to Delta high CFM fans and the Dynatron fans (already 5700rpm 60 CFM) to Nidec 110cfm fans. There is clearly some dead air in this box that is not easily exchanged, so I am adding Nexus Beamair units to the front 120mm intake fans, and Silverstone aeroslot-BP PCI intakes with the possibility of adding 1 or 2 PCI air-conditioning units. What is worse is that given the option of using nylon screws and nuts for the window attachment, Xigmatek chose plastic studs, more than half of which were not secured and drop out of the side panel at the least provocation. At $220+S/H, check out other options before you buy.

Other Thoughts: Case needs more powerful fans and more more of them, as well as more slots in the PCI vents. The castors are barely acceptable for a 50 lb box and, while lockable, they would not take much load if you have a lot of extra weight in the water cooling department. Be prepared to upgrade and spend more money!

5 out of 5 eggsThis case is done right

Pros: This case is done right. Little details like having a pre-installed foam gasket fitted where the power supply is installed or having fan filters for the top fans which don't require you to open the case to remove. While I love my other cases, and this shares a cooling design methodology with a lot of chassis on the market right now, the Xigmatek Elysium knows whats up. Also, it's huge, and can fit pretty much any type of board, including the SR boards from EVGA and server boards or workstation boards.

Cons: It's HUGE. Like, huge huge. It was almost 4 inches taller than another case I have with a similar number of drive bays. While it's obvious prior to buying this and I also count it as a pro, you should really know that this case is HUGE and will not fit under any desk ever.

Other Thoughts: I will be buying more of these for future builds if they keep them on the market. I've been impressed with other products from Xigmatek in the past, and this case is no exception. Good work on this one.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent case

Pros: HUGE! Dwarfs ATX boards. This is the first real from scratch build I've done and wanted a case that was going to take whatever I ended up buying. Definitely didn't go wrong there

Cons: The cage is kinda meh. I don't know if it was the SSD bracket that came with my OCZ or if it was the cage itself, but four little screws shouldn't take that long to put in lol

The power LED cable and my motherboard just do not work together, luckily my H80 lets me know its on..

5 out of 5 eggsI like this case a lot

Pros: This case has great cable management, it can fit pretty large motherboards, it has a lot of drive bays. There are 8 removable drive bays that have noise/vibration reduction. I was able to fit pretty large heatsinks on a dual xeon supermicro board and they still have a lot of extra room. Although it's so huge, I think it's my favorite case I've ever owned. One last thing. They give a lot of screws for drives, and aside from the hard drives and a few other places, you can turn the screws loose with your hand. They were pretty tight, so the first time you might need something to help loosen them.

Cons: It's bigger than an average Full Tower, so make sure you have a lot of space. It's pretty heavy and not a case you will want to lug around a lot. It's not quite big enough to live in.

Other Thoughts: I would have bought this case again with hindsight.

4 out of 5 eggsNice case.

Pros: Liquid cooling options! Top & bottom PS Mounting options! Decent cable management. 2.5 & 3.5 hot swap option. Has wheels. Cut out behind the CPU!

HUGE! I love a big case and I have been wanting to add a 4th room to my house and someday this might be it.

Cons: Drive Bays are not modular. No simple hot swapping internal drives. Top panel will fill with dust or (if with child) other items. NO HANDLES!

No window, I like to keep an eye on liquid cooled systems.

TOO MANY ALL BLACK CASES!

Other Thoughts: I don't own one but I was able to give one a good hands on look.

At its current price. ($219.99) If it fits your needs and leaves nothing wanted its worth the cost. But for me... I would have to fix all the cons my self (witch I can)
