4 out of 5 eggsSolid overall case.

Pros: Good case, clean design. Plenty of room for fans.

Cons: The front panel is difficult to remove. Cable management is pretty bad. There's not very much space behind the mother board, so after running cables behind to try and clean up my build, the back panel is really hard to put back on.

Other Thoughts: Solid buy, I'm satisfied.

2 out of 5 eggsVery Dissapointed

Pros: Clean design, 2x120mm fans, not flashy. Good price.

Cons: Flimsy metal, bad drive mounting system (especially for 2.5" SSD)

Other Thoughts: This is probably the worst case I've ever built a machine in. I should've went with the old standy Antec 300 which I've built 2 machines of mine in...I wanted to try something different, and I liked the way this looked at the features on paper.
I cut myself twice building this system, and the metal is extremely flimsy. Also, the 3.5" HDD mounting mechanism is very flimsy, and one of my drives really didn't get secured all that well at all. The mounting for the 2.5" drive is a joke, I couldn't even get to the front two screws, so the drive is only secured with two screws.

The MOBO standoffs didn't go in well, and I wasn't sure if everything was going to line up at all, but it did. In short, I got the machine put together, but I would never use this case again, and I may even switch out this machine into a better enclosure eventually.

4 out of 5 eggsNice for retro-builds

Pros: A case and a price so nice, I bought one twice! I needed a bottom-mount power supply case to make room for an old S478 Thermaltake Extreme cooler. Cases with PSU on top interfered with it, and it's a great cooler, so I needed to buy a new case just for it! It is inexpensive, though not at all cheap. Very sturdy. I also like that it had a 3.5 slot (harder to find these days) since this computer is going to be a Win98 machine. I still install floppy drives in all my builds, yeah, I'm "old skool," but say what you want, it's saved my skin on more than one occasion. The side case vents for 140mm fans worked GREAT to blow cooler air onto my Voodoo2 SLI cards and onto the big Thermaltake. The 120mm fan on the back is a little noisy, I replaced it with a quieter one I had laying around that was cast-off from eons ago. I like that it is very nondescript and unassuming. It doesn't look like a big Japanese robot or something that fell off of a hover tank. I like that it has a front mounted fan that cools my Velociraptor. All-in-all very happy and it was the perfect case for me.

Cons: Cable routing/hiding could be a little bit better, but I've been building PC's for a long time and "back in the day" hiding cables behind the back side of the case was a pipe dream. The only thing you DO have to watch, in my instance, is that the older power supplies used for retro-builds like this may not have the cable length required to be mounted on the bottom of the case. My Startech PSU worked out just dandy for this build. I guess the only other improvement that would have been nice would have been if the HDD rails were rotated 90-degrees, but hey, at this price...satisfied.

5 out of 5 eggsGood value, no-nonsense case.

Pros: -Looks good--not ostentatious or odd-looking. Doesn't have a big, ugly logo on it. Even the power & reset buttons and the ports are inconspicuous.
-Inexpensive but not cheap. It's plenty sturdy.
-Toolless mounting is great to have (but see Cons).
-Cable management is pretty easy because of cutouts (but see Cons).
-Floppy drive-sized slot allows the addition of a card reader.
-Lots of ventilation: Front, side, top, rear, & bottom.
-Lots of room for more hard drives.
-USB 3.0.

Cons: -The front mesh has plastic fuzz coming through it. At first, I thought it was a plastic coating on the metal that was badly applied, but it's actually a stiff foam-type thing underneath the mesh. It can probably be removed if you're willing to take off the front part.
-There aren't enough mounting devices if you're using more than half of the bays. I emailed Xigmatek and got a quick reply, and more of the brackets were sent to me immediately: "We could send you some extra mounts. How many do you need? Please email me your shipping address."
-There's not much space between the motherboard and right side panel for cable management, despite the cutouts.
-The fans are a little louder than I'd expected from such a small case.
-The hard drive bays were a bit wide in the middle section, and I had to squeeze the two sides together to tighten the fit before installing the drives.

Other Thoughts: The minor issues don't detract much from an otherwise excellent, inexpensive, & surprisingly feature-rich computer case (especially when it's on sale and has free shipping).

5 out of 5 eggsSolid case for the money spent

Pros: The finish is decent, sort of dull black with a little texture (post-its do not stick). Interior finish is good too, most edges are rolled back and not dangerous sharp for flesh or insulation. Cable holes have rolled edges. Feet are a semi-soft rubber.

Cons: I had to drill one hole for a MB stand off - no big deal.

Other Thoughts: I clipped the points off some of the plastic hooks that hold the 3.5" drive bay mesh in so I could zip tie a 2nd 120mm fan to the front face. I fit a 160mm tall cooler in the case with no problem, but it precluded putting a second fan on the side vents.

5 eggs for giving me good value for less than 50 bucks with no hassles of any import.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very roomy case, easy to work in.

Cons: I'm a bit concerned about the large vent on the top, my cats tend to sit on it and I just know I'm going to wind up with cat hair on my motherboard.

Other Thoughts: I bought this case for my most recent computer build and so far, I'm quite happy with it. It has more room than I need right now, but that just means I can grow into it. This is the first case I've owned with the PSU on the bottom and I find the layout preferable.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: Great Price, USB 3.0, 2 USB 2.0, 2 120mm fans pre installed, fan filters, and enough room behind mobo tray for all my cables

Cons: Build quality could be a tad bit better.

Other Thoughts: Just a great case for $40, buy it now for budget machines

5 out of 5 eggsGood Value Case

Pros: See "other thoughts" category for system specs.
Case has good build quality. Attractive design, lots of cooling capability. Front fan filter. Two included fans are very quiet.

Cons: I dislike the expansion slot covers that need to be broken off, because you risk damaging motherboard if you aren't careful, and if you ever remove the card you'll have an empty spot. They include 1 good removable cover but they should just have filled all covers with those. Also, there is a small gap on the left and right of DVDRW drive on the front. But none of these are big complaints so it still gets five eggs from me!

Other Thoughts: System specs:
-Added 4x140MM fans to top and sides.
-Intel Core i7-860 CPU
-Cooler Master Hyper TX3 CPU Cooler
-Gigabyte ATX Motherboard
-Lite On DVDRW
-500GB Seagate Barracuda HDD
-2x GTX 550 Ti graphics cards in SLI
-Seasonic G Series 360W

4 out of 5 eggsGreat value computer case

Pros: - Well ventilated, so less concern over heat issues
- Lightweight design, very easy to move around as you install everything
- Easy access side panels are a huge plus
- Plenty of space to store HDDs, plenty of 5.25" bays and even a 3.5" bay!
- Good cable management, and the bottom-mount PSU also works well.
- Standard case fans have an acceptable level of noise, not whisper-quiet but not obtrusively loud.
- Good build quality, no real issues with appearance or performance.

Cons: - Tool-free holders need a rethink. They do look compatible with the majority of devices, but don't seem sturdy. I used screws to install my (currently lone) HDD, optical drive, and flash card reader.
- Could be a little more space between top-mounted USB ports and power button.

Other Thoughts: An additional USB3.0 port would be good for the future (not a huge deal as it's not commonly implemented and most of the mid-range MOBOs have 2 included as well at a minimum. Also, would prefer not to have to remove the entire front face in order to remove a 5.25" bay cover.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent case for the price

Pros: Keeps everything nice and cool, excellent cable management system, sturdy and rugged construction and finish can take a beating, plenty of room to grow, top-mounted front panel I/O great to keep things within reach if you keep your case on or near the floor; also great if you have kids and keep your case up high, as they cannot reach the power/reset buttons, etc.

Cons: Open air design = tons of airflow = more dust/debris can get into chassis = not very quiet. This isn't really a problem for most gamers, as they will typically use a headset while playing. I wouldn't recommend this for any noise sensitive environment like a recording studio. Front I/O panel cheaply made - headphone/mic jack PCB fell apart after the first week. No problem for me, as I can just replace the jacks and hand-wire them, but users without wiring/soldering knowledge may have issues with this (wasn't worth the cost to RMA). Empty bay covers on front panel are a bit touchy - will sometimes 'cave in' if you push on them and you have to take off the front panel to put them back in place. The 'tool-free' mounting system is a joke. Remove these plastic doorstops immediately and use screws like a real man (or woman).

Other Thoughts: Overall, I am pretty happy about this case. It's not flashy or gimmicky, but it does the job and does it pretty well for this price range. Would definitely recommend this case to anyone building a budget-friendly rig.
